Nice. Screw the multiboxers.
I used to think that cost was a number which, when calculated, meant a concrete thing. I was an Engineer, I was used to pressures and temperatures and other physical things that you could measure and know about. Then I took Accounting and it rocked my nice Euclidian world. I found out that "cost" was literally anything the Accountant chose for it to be. There were a thousand different ways they could determine "cost" and they were all true/correct based on the process and assumptions the Accountant used. Then there were associated things like Opportunity Cost (mentioned above) and Sunk Cost. So dear fellow goblins ... take a deep breath and focus on enjoying your pile of gold (however wide and deep it is) and leave cost accounting to the cost accountants.
Nope.40$= 33€, ok max 35€Token=230k and token is 13 € for EU you need 13€ (per token)x3= 39€ (you need 33 max 35 for boost) so... 690k not 920k
Those are scuffed numbers. If the deluxe is 69$ it's gonna be 65 in euro, which means 5 tokens (5x13). A token is 229k as of now. So that's 1150k gold for the deluxe on EU.
I think Blizzard genuinely tried to combat multiboxing for years, they just realized it's impossible to get rid of and if it's just going to happen they might as well earn money with it. I used to think it was wrong but it's so widespread nowadays I got used to it and honestly these days it doesn't really bother me.Does that sound like a clown argument? Yes.It's a clown argument for multiboxing and it's also a clown argument for boosting meta.
Blizzard has made many stupid decisions that on the surface seemed like good business, but were hurting them over the longer periods.Allowing multiboxing was one of them. The D.U.M.B. business Koticks only saw extra $$$ for additional subs from the same buyer, and just couldn't wrap their minds around the damage to the gameplay experience which did, continues and will continue to drive people away from the game. Multiboxers made it very hard to even do any gathering as a herd of druids just exhausts a node immediately. They also dumped their truckloads of wares on the AH for pittance, further driving players from actually going out to gather in the game. And even here D.U.M.B. business Koticks could only see extra $$$ from tokens as all those AH purchases need some financing that the casual player can't come up with. Only THAT makes the game a pay-to-win, and kills engagement because actually engaging with the content, like, say, cruising the zone for some ore or herbs or whatnot, becomes unpleasant, unrewarding, due to all the bots - not something a player might to. And then, in the end, you find out when you log in on reset for the raid, that you are already parked at the raid... from last week's run. If your raid team gets stuck... you're out of the game...Destroying multiboxing is just one step. Good riddance.
So with the multiboxing thing, here's a response from a gm I got on the topic a day AFTER the newest TOS update. I'm posting this for clarification. Per a gm response from a gm ticket: https://i.imgur.com/ZBaLnaM.png (Showing time passage)https://i.imgur.com/0sr9m2z.png
