It could just be the modelviewer, but some of the character animations don't seem to be all there. Maybe I'm just not used to seeing facial expressions, particularly for dancing. On another note, Wowhead actually using its Youtube channel gg.
Its moderately frustrating that there's multiple clickable links that would seem to point to the modelviewer, but they just post to news about it.It took me a bit of time to realize that the only way to view the Modelviewer is by previewing items. I know it is sort of called out in this post, but I thought it would be worth mentioning that maybe there should just be a modelviewer button on the Tools dropdown.
The modelviewer has always been this way--integrated into the site instead of a stand-alone tool due to the endless variations and thousands of models it can load. It might be overwhelming to users to select between so many options from scratch. However, the modelviewer has gotten some increased attention with the character revamp so we're planning on writing a tutorial post explaining the ins and outs.I also added some links to viewable models (the images with tons of emotes, not the comparison ones)--if you click on the images, they'll open up the viewer. Yesterday's post has all the images pointing to models as well.
When I opened up the model viewer, it still shows the old models even when I've switched it to Warlords.
This is a cache issue, if it persists for some time, email as it may be a more serious issue. When the new models went live last night, they didn't work in my usual browser, but now they work fine.
Tauren shoulders look much better now, orcs still out of out place; should be slightly reduced in size or something. Now that I think about it, it's probably the orc's shoulders that are out of whack, looks like they're flipped or something.
Just noticed that Gnomes have 5 toes but only 4 fingers... The Orcs and Dwarves match: 5 and 5.
I do hope the bra doesn't show on the high res model even on high settings. Kind of ruins some skimpy sets I have for my sham. Looking pretty awesome otherwise though! Loving the set the female orc is wearing, I hope it's mail armor!
Loving these changes, I am so excited I don't know what to do with myself! I believe these changes might make me play races that I never would have in the past.. Orcs for sure.
Is it just me or do the female orcs look really pretty now?
Love all new models! I can't even imagine what they'll do with blood elves and male humans... =)
the tauren look like bad asses love the new looks
Gnomes are even sassier than before."I'm a strong independent gnome who don't need no elf."
Oh god, the Male Tauren death emote...I'm loving these new models! :)
There are pretty ones now but the new orcs just look so refined.
Finally! Old and new on the female dwarves. But sadly, there seems a broken nexus. They no longer look earthen, they just look like stouter and taller new gnomes. They even kinda look stringy around the neck, like a human male! I kind of liked them looking a little like Igoo from The Herculoids. I think they need to look on the rocky side. I hope they aren't going to keep the fleshiness.
Oh man! I can't chose which one my main character will be...love all of them with the new high pixel design.
For some reason the model viewer only displays the old models for me. Even from the direct links.
Reading lips here. Female Gnome Question: What the he))'s wrong with you?Did I read that right? I guess it could also be: I have no idea. You?Also, it looks like Pixar took over. The emotive content is nice and all, but I don't want to think of the Incredibles every time I break out my Gnome DK.
