sooo..... rare or epic quest loot. i wonder: suppose the weapon the quest offers isnt better than mine, but the rare version is. when will the roll happen? when selected or when presented with the choice? because what if i dont select the weapon just because the other weapon (which i cant use) sells for 5 more gold on vendor? and THAT weapon turns out epic? anyone else but me see the problem?
I have a question since I am not in the Warlords Beta, does disabling the new character models disable your view of everyone's new model or just your characters? In other words, is it like the "hide helm" option?
can bows be transmogged to other weapons besides guns in warlords?
Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU! Thank you first for the Toy Box, second Void Storage tab, and improvements for bag space and sorting! Thank you second for all the other wonderful great UI improvements especially those for key bindings! THANK YOU most of all for providing something about which I can have only positive things to say. I get very tired of criticizing the omissions, deletions and just plain useless changes in the game that show up all too often that having nothing negative to say is a major pleasure. Thank you again and let me add that I will offer an even bigger thank you if we ever get the long-promised, long-awaited and long-delayed Tabard tab. Not criticizing, just begging...please?
Here are my concerns One of the things that makes WoW feel so solid is how the items work.If i need a blue gem for crafting i need to walk to my bank and pick up the gem, as if it was a solid object in real life, it makes the game feel consequential and adds those little chores that make everything else so much more enjoyable. Therefore i believe the whole "crafting using your banked reagents" is not a good thing. It would be a little more acceptable if you gave us some reasoning behind it, for example being able to obtain an item that lets you craft with banked reagents (Like an Hermione Bag or something) would be way better. The convenience isn't thrown at me, i don't feel babysitted by the game, i am gaining my convenience.Same goes for the Toy Box.It's by far my favourite change, however it takes away from the solidity of the toys you gain, they stop being objects and they start being buttons.I really think it is necessary though, therefore you could make the Toy Box itself an item to keep in your bags, you click it and your character opens it, kind of like opening a map works right now.People are going to downvote this comment into oblivion for this last part alone, but i think that for all of the reasons stated above, making quest items not occupy bag space would be extremely bad for the game. Let me explain this a little further:During my months of being out-of-WoW-funds i played tons (and i do mean TONS) of F2P MMOs.Those were indeed dark days, yes. What i noticed however, was that the games that were less popular and frankly way less enjoyable were also the ones that felt the most convenient.Especially the games that let you auto-run to a destination and made everything outside of combat extremely easy to do felt like a chore to even play. This made me realize that when a game is 100% sugar, everything about it will feel bitter.Want an example? Runescap...ehm, The-game-who-shall-not-be-named still lives strong to this day, crushing even its own sequel. And this is my main concern about the direction WoW is taking:The game tells you how to play while you level. The game tells you how you should specialize (3 talents so much choice). The game makes the groups for you.The game literally tells you in giant capital letters to get out of the fire (people still die in said fire btw). And now the game will also organize your bags, keep your items conveniently sorted in a magic bank that you can access from anywhere and that takes away every kind of little chore you had to do.Are you playing the game or is the game playing you?You may think these little changes mean nothing, and are in fact so small that they can only benefit WoW, but really the little details , the small minuscule polished bits matter more than you could imagine.
You forgot to mention that you can now zoom Zone Map in :P
These are exciting, another thing that would be nice would be if you could save and name 'favorite' pet battle teams.
epic! i can't wait
What little beta play I have seen first hand, screams UI updates. It is looking to be extremely user friendly, as well as helpful! Can not wait for 6.0!
I was wondering if all tabards are listed as toys now or if tabards will have their own page tab in the void storage or whatever?
Did anyone else drool at the mount section? 455 mounts.. I just recently passed 150
Am I missing something? Why are so many people saying you can craft from anywhere? This article says: "On individual banks, there is a separate Reagents Bank. You can craft items using materials that are in this bank--no need to put them in your bags."Nowhere does that say you can craft from your bank while running around in the world. Is that how it's working in the current beta build or something?Per this article, you still have to go to your bank in a city to access your reagents. Other than the Reagents tab itself and the stack size increase, the only thing that's changed is you don't have to transfer materials over to your bags first to craft (which is awesome!).Is there more detailed info somewhere and I'm just not seeing it?
I don't know what i'll do with all my new bag space :'D
Why it takes so long for the keybind ui? Well... At last they updated it. Really good news.
I wish they would have brought back the whole training system for the different weapons. It was fun to at least tank and having to train daggers or even wanting to train a gun in order to have fun tanking.
I am thrilled about the increased options for weapon transmog. I dislike the way a polearm displays on female human and much prefer the broadsword animation. Big Smooch to Blizzard for introducing transmog into the game and for continuing to expand the options.
All of this looks like an awesome addition to WOW
