I think Harbinger of Doom needs a significant buff. Our auto attacks are too slow to make proper use this talent and even with this talent the chance to proc Sudden Doom is just too low. There could be a really interesting build centered around throwing out as many Death Coils as humanly possible by taking runic power generating talents like Runic Attenuation and using Rune of Hysteria. This could be used in conjunction with Summon Gargoyle as well as a throwback to the Nighthold Dark Arbiter builds in Legion.The idea of a disease focused build sounds interesting and it’s something people have wanted for awhile, but it’s falling flat due to no real mechanics that interact with diseases outside of fire and forget for generic buffs. That and there’s only two diseases of which, both are boring.Pet builds and wound popping builds are going to be just fine no matter how this pans out.But they need to seriously consider how they are going to encourage alternative viable builds instead of jumbling all the skills and talents up, giving us a few new ones and then ignoring balancing the ones that have been grossly underpowered for several years at this point.I’d be thoroughly disappointed to see this big shake up to talents ultimately end with every single Unholy DK using essentially the same damn build that’s been used since the start of BFA because all other choices are numerically inferior by a large margin.But in all reality, the Unholy tree needs the Elongated Skeletal Arms Torghast power, so we can finally be a true hybrid melee/ranged dps.That and perhaps they should just decouple dual wielding from Frost and make it a talent in the DK class tree. It’d make the Runic Power generating talents more interesting for Unholy and shake up gameplay more, as well as Blood being able to benefit nicely. It also significantly decreases the pressure of fighting for 2 handed weapons among melee classes.

Expansion is set to release in six months, and we only got to see two class talents trees...Definitely, Dragonflight is ahead of schedule...
In my opinion I feel the best way to remedy the blood tree "weirdness" of being able to take Tightening grasp without Gorefiend's grasp would be to move Purgatory where Gorefiend's is and also put Gorefiend's where Tightening grasp is now. Gorefiend's grasp isn't really something you should be forced into since its an ability not always needed, so in fact, it should replace Control undead on the class tree so that all DKs can try it out!
Im not impressed, at all. To me it looks almost the same as what we have right now in SL. Taking baseline spells and putting them as a talent point feels dumb. Look at the talent transition between TBC and WOTLK, many of the current talents are getting reworked or improved and on top of that we are getting brand new talents as well. Now that feels like an expansion transition, SL to DF feels like.. the same but now i need to use talent points to get my old spells back which feels.. stupid.
These talents are what a sim might tell you, but not what your raid/group leader will tell you. Skipping on abo limb/amz and massive survivability talents seems like griefing for progress in raid/high keys.
Reading the complaints about blood part of the base DK tree having the defensives....That's kinda the point. Especially with a class like this with two dps and one tank spec, having tank spec's part of the tree in the middle between the two dps specs is perfect. This allows the other specs to drop points toward the middle for defensives and utility without sacrificing their primary side. If you want unholy benefits as frost and vice-versa, you have to make the choice of more power or more survivability/utility.
worrisome that they are just letting these out piecemeal, almost like they are still coming up with the basic concepts and releasing them as they "finish" them... alpha/beta soon please..end of 2022 is not far away. We all just want the game to be good and not spend 2+ years fixing everything like the past 2 expansions.
Im not quite satisfied with this talent tree, my biggest problem is lack of new staff, sorry but most of this talents are just stuff we had in last 8 years, like where is new stuff? Also was hoping to see Tak'theritrix's Shoulderpads power in talents or necrotic plague but it looks like DKs cant have nice things.
I wish they would just straight up remove the wound playstyle. No one I know enjoys it
The frost tree being 10 time better than unholy's make me hope that it can be great.I hope they will listen feedback, unholy is such a mess of a patchwerk design but it can be good if they adress some problems (like cooldown desync please)
