I wish the whole expansion looked like Revendreth, I'm a goth at heart and love the whole Vampire Werewolf thing, can't wait to take my Worgen druid to Revendreth. I would love the whole of the next expansion to be like Revendreth PLEASE BLIZZARD. :D :D
They better do right by Kael'thas this time around, seriously ...
One of BfA's biggest problems was unbalanced faction content. It was like the devs were screaming the entire expansion, Horde is so cool, we play Horde, come and play Horde, the Alliance is just lame, Horde is so much better, don't play the Alliance, we don't care about it and we didn't have the capacity to develop both sides of the story. I mean not that Horde bias wasn't obvious pretty much since Cata, but it kept getting worse and worse and it reached a whole new level in BfA.And honestly I'm beginning to see the very same thing happening here, in a bit different way. This whole zone and content is devs litterly screaming, we're going team Vampire, go play team Vampire, it's so cool, the others suck. I mean not that Bastion looks bad, but after seeing both stories, campaigns, amount of content, plus the fact that Revendreth storyline culminates with a raid, to me it's fairly obvious that the devs are gonna be playing team Vampire, and that they don't really care about the others. And seeing the other zones on youtube kinda confirms this for me. Bastion looks cool, yes though on a much lesser scale than Revendreth, but Ardenweald is an extreamly environmentally friendly zone(it's Val'sharah in Shadowmoon Valley colors + some Drustvar) and to me at least Maldraxxus and the Maw just look lame(and the Maw should look the coolest of all being the max level zone). One of WoW trademarks from it's golden age(TBC and WotLK) was perfectely even and balanced content regardless of your in game choices(weather you're Alliance or Horde, what zone will you go to, what class and so on). I guess Blizzard just doesn't have capacity to make such content anymore.
Stop complain its still Alpha and if you dont like the game dont play it
The only overbearing nice-looking group I care about right now is the Lightbound in AU Draenor, so I don't really care about the Kyrians. Ardenweald is just more nature, don't care. Maldraxxus and Revendreth are what I'm looking forward to, but I'm concerned by the fact that Kael'thas isn't in the quests and is just a raid encounter. We'd better rescue him and then he takes the spotlight of Revendreth, possibly taking over the entire place as its new manager.
Of course we will join the rebellion, that is what we always do.Was there one time when we crushed a rebellion?
From what I can see, the zones and stories are really promising, great! The Light got me a little confused, but I guess it's just the name, not the holy energy (would be funny, playing a paladin here). Eager to see Ardenweald and how they work!
I hope the lore. character, stories etc are permanent and continuous moving forward. I'm tired of leaving cool places like suramar behind. When a player makes a tauren, they spend a day or so traversing mulgore and the various villages and thunderbluff, but after that it's rarely involved in the story. That's why I really like the vale of eternal blossoms and uldum right now because they are involved with the current story and continue on their lore. If we end up liking these landscapes and their inhabitants, it would be great if they become part of the story moving forward and not only revisiteds years from now during an event. all of wow's zones need to be kept in mind because there' no reason story wouldn't effect them. for instance, if I get a gargoyle pet, I don't want it to be just fond memories of the time I spent in revendreth, I want my gargoyle pet to always be current and meaningful to me, because where he's from is still a current part of wow's story. Some of my outland pets I feel bad when I bring them out because the place their from really sin't included into the current games, so it's kind of melancholy.
Correct me if I'm wrong but.. we haven't seen everything for every zone have we? Isn't it unfair to say Blizz is team vamp when we have still have two zones and everything after them to cover?
Well I'm not going to read the spoiler I'm curious no info about oribos..no info yet
