Its medivh v malfurion this time though.
No in the druids deck? What a missed opportunity.
Anyone else having a rough time with this one? Squishei and I are yet to win one after about 5-7 tries. RNG be darned.
Won my first 2 on druid side of it
Won my first time as Medivh. Gotta keep your board as full as possible (5 or 6 minions, NEVER 7!) so his RNG attacks don't hit face. Our game went long (he finished with 12 attack), just kept putting out minions and heals, not attacking him unless it was with a big minion. We won because my partner laid down some nice Savage Roar combos for a couple turns, plus all our spell damage minions stayed alive so I was able to finish him with a 15 damage pyroblast + 17 attack from all my minions.
It feel this Brawl os harder than the last one, but not that much. It was also very that the Mage is actually Medivh, cool for people who haven't bought the Skin (like me).
Unlike previous appearrance of this brawl, you have to win to get the pack.
Isn't assasinate replaced with "Deal attack Damage to biggest minion?"
He also has massive assasinate, which kills entire board
Stupidest Tavern yet. It's so fun to have to play 156 times just to find out the rules. Also, there's a Milhouse in the Druid deck.
Although a lot of things will go wrong along the way, the road to victory seems to be:
Mechazod kills your entire board if you have 7 minions (max) on your board (basically to make space for Mechazod to swap into)
I noticed something happening that did not occur with the 1st Unite against Mechazod. Because he casts "Deal dmg to the highest attack minion" and randomly throws barrels you are FORCED to have more than three minions on either side. But god forbid if you find yourself with seven minions on your own side before the turn ends, he will wipe them all because he has no room to cram himself in. Happened to me once and the next run I saw that Trogzorr was making too many minions on my partner's side so I used a Fireball to kill Trogzorr. Of course my partner cursed me but in my mind I said "I know, I know, I'm sorry! But know what I'm doing!" We won that one because I saved his minions.
I actually think this is easier than last time, though it could be because people are more familiar with the fight mechanics and know what to do / prioritise. That said, we just won a round even though the Druid, on a board of 5, played Cenarius and accidentally hit the 2/2 taunt instead of +2/+2...The best cards for Mirror Entity are things like Aviana, Jungle Moonkin, and even Zombie Chow for healing. Also, as Mage, if Lorewalker Cho is on the board, try to play a Mirror Entity, to pass it to the Druid, so you can give him an Animated Armor. Bit convoluted, but it worked a treat.
Had a game that took around 15 minutes. My partner was solid up until he played his combo ( I was the mage) the boss was up to 12 damage and the partner I had with 26 life thought it would be a good idea to push 2 more damage by ramming his face in dropping him to 14. Boss does rocket swarvo hits him once puts him down to 2. Boss was around 10-12 health and I did not have the option to lethal it but fortunately I had some cards to heal him up but one more swarvo would have wreckt him. Still won but that throw almost did us in.
Yea, this one is tough. 3 games, 3 losses. Getting close though. I understand what needs to happen. I just haven't been lucky with the card draws near the end when I need just a little more health.
