Zul and Azshara? Definitely did not expect this.
Wow, THIS is how you take loose story-ends and incoherent quests and retroactively turn them into a interesting plotline spanning 4 expansions (5 if you include Warlords, but please, don't).
So...Zul controlled Lei-shen? Well, that´s interesting....It´s quite unlikely, but since allied races are a thing, I´d love to see the mogu playable.
It's also important to emphasize that Zul is not a servant of Azshara. Their letter makes it clear they're working together, not him working for her. "We will both rule", it says.
I've had a nagging thought over the possibility of Vol'jin perhaps somehow being resurrected. I'm just not sure why and how that would ever make sense from a lore standpoint, or why it would be done if not out of some grand necessity. Sylvanas or the Undead returning from Undeath seems just as unlikely. The only thing that I am certain of is that Vol'jin's story isn't over. What form he returns in is what remains to be seen. Zul certainly is shaping up to be very interesting.
ye, mogu, naga, vulpera and MURLOCS PLAYABLE! Lets jump the shark together, with style, why the hell not :)
How can she write letters underwater ?
There hasn't been a good presence of an expansion villain since Wrath, imo, where you ran into the Lich King in every other dungeon and in one or two raids leading up to Icecrown. This would definitely be a step up from that, so I hope the payoff is nice~
Forgive me if I am wrong, but as of late, hasn't Sylvana's desire been in seeking immortality? If she were to become living again, wouldn't that be like, call me crazy, but taking not just two but ALL the steps backwards?
In case it was not made clear to you, the majority of the Forsaken have never been happy with their undead status.Sylvanas has on countless occasions remarked how she hates being undead, a sentiment many Forsaken share. The goal was always to find a cure for undeath. Lately, due to war she has been prioritizing ways to strengthen her forces by making more forsaken and weapons to defend her lands. It was only when Sylvanas discovered the leader of the Valajar (Holy Val'kyr), Eyir, did she try to take those powers to make more Val'kyr which can prevent her from dying and going into purgatory (which can be prevented if she finds a cure for undeath).
