Don't feel like watching this but do they give an actual logical reason that evokers don't have a tank spec?
cool, but he isn't that great at interviewing, he talked too much and not asking questions, I dont care about what he has to say about random stuff, I want to know what the developer has to say.
Ugh this guy has the worst takes.
Still hoping for a tank spec that would come once the Aspects are empowered again and Wrathion becomes earthwarder.
Fun race and class! Just need some melee abilities and they would be perfect.I am happy that both racial abilities are sort of melee-like, but having something like a claw attack, tail whip and maybe a soar/dive attack like Rogue's death from above ability, would be absolutely EPIC.
They have never in the history of the game added a ranged damage dealer, and inversely they've only added tanks over and over again. So, they made a non-tank ranged damage dealer that could use the least utilized armor type. Then they let it heal because only one of the previous three tanky boys could heal.If this upsets you, maybe the next one they add will tank. The probability of it happening is high, seeing as this is the first time in the history of the game they decided to add a ranged dps instead of a tank.Besides, most dragons are casters in the books. /shrug
'God forbid, a Warlock' Now I'm not the biggest fan of warlocks because I tried one a few years ago. and it wasn't that fun. However, that seems like an odd thing to pass off as a joke. Then again, I noticed that Hunter rip, which I found odd. He could just said that he preferred Rogues. On another note, I think it's good that Graham found a use for Giantkiller. Here's the thing: not every fight can happen in a dungeon or a raid. So, I kind of don't see what he means by consistent damage.
To think of it - Evoker have ability to wear 2h weapons aside basic staves and 2h maces with intellect. I think down the road, while that young drake Wrathion become Aspect (bad choice to me, but alas its not me to decide) - they will give us tank spec with black dragonflight abilities that are really underpresented in class. And with 2h as main weapon. No shield, no staves - 2h axes and swords.
Worthless interview tbh, asked too many pointless questions and too many side comments from the interviewer. Everything asked/answered is old information afaik
Lol
Preheat is the guy that tried to destroy other YouTubers career. JUST SAYIN!
How are they going to say they want empowering to matter at all stages and Flame Breath is a GOOD example of it when it is arguably the worst? Unless the pack instantly dies (it won't in higher content, but sure) it is ALWAYS a DPS loss to cast more than Empower 1 on Flame Breath assuming you get full DoT value.Boss 1 and 4 of SMBG is probably the only scenario where stage 3/4 is "best" choice since they both have adds that NEED to die and you are able to "pre-cast" on them. On regular trash pulls it is far too inconsistent to get a full charged cast off at the start since the tank is rounding things up and can move them out of the narrow cone (should get bigger with empower to solve).Empower abilities need looked at across the board, but for Devastation it needs to:1) make the cone larger for empowering Flame Breath2) normalize the DoT duration so you don't lose living flame procs (just make the ticks deal next to no damage on Empower 4)3) Animosity needs to scale the extension based on empower. Keep it at 6 seconds for empower 1, but every empower adds a second. Charging an Empower 4 should give 9 seconds that way you don't "waste" so much of the buff doing nothing with it.Eternity Surge is one of the better designed ones because you just pick the empower amount consistent with targets. You are going to cast way more Empower 2/3s of Eternity Surge than a Flame Breath which is pretty much always 1 or MAYBE 4.
Aw, I was hoping for infinite dragon glowy scales later
