Yea, i don't have 4k so i definitely unchecked that box, wish more games would give the option.
did i miss the post with the travelers log or did they miss the post ? XD
Too late and I won't be modifying mine. I enjoy playing at the highest video setting I can. All 80 GB downloaded and now I'm ready to start come tomorrow at 4 pm!
If you cant handle 80GB then you need to upgrade.
Right? It's one of Blizzard's BIGGEST IPs and its a very long-awaited launch. OF COURSE there is going to be a ton of news on it. As there should be! I want to know everything I can do to have the game ready to play and jump right in!
It doesn't seem necessary to download all 80GB if you still have the beta/serverslam. Simply move the data folder of the beta into a "Diablo IV" folder, then start Battle.net and only about 7 GB remain for downloading. If you want to be on the safe side, you can have a "Scan and Repair" run over it.
Worth mentioning is that you can toggle this while downloading the game initially. The "modify install" button is greyed out while you're downloading, but if you PAUSE, then it becomes accessible and you can toggle off the high res textures and resume download. You'll download 40gb less in the first place then.
Quoted the wrong person. Oh well. Excited for the game. High res textures are def. still worth even on 1080p if you have the hardware to run it.
Just to clarify; Do I also need this update if i want to play at ultra settings, but at 1080p or 1440p?
