Whoa.
NOO WHY SIRA? why blizzard hates nelfs?this is so.. sad...totally not arthas? hmm?free will?
At this point it is straight up negligence for the Alliance not to burn all their fallen to ash, so this doesn't keep happening time and time again.
Just based on these broadcast texts, which are obviously not finalized, it seems like she is not under her own free will, but rather under the will of Sylvanas. Interesting if this is true, it would mark a significant change.
Oh boy.

1. Does Blizzard not realize they're gutting their lore characters by killing so many of them?2. Good to know Sira's Forsaken'd reasoning is so pathetically illogical... Would have been a good chance to examine what sort of mind control Sylvanas is guilty of but nah, let's just argue with her like she's come to these conclusions herself instead of trying to figure this out intelligently... Cool...
Nice, I hope this becomes a recurring theme. When Sylvanas claims a champion, she really claims them. Hopefully this will be for more than mere fodder for Maiev to 'overcome' her past. That would be incredibly disappointing, because it's been done way too many times. Not stoked that they keep rubbing in that honor, the main thing the Horde claimed in the past, is all gone.Whatever, 'The Horde survives, for the Horde!'
Just a reminder that the Horde is morally grey. Sylvanas will end up being WoW's Karrigan. And absolutely nothing is going on with Saurfang and his supposed quest to start a revolution within the Horde. In all seriousness though, I really feel like people are deluding themselves at this point if they still honestly believe that Sylvanas isn't going to be dethroned. And to all the Hordies out there who are tired of this crap, I'm sorry. I had hoped in the previous 8.1 content datamine that you guys wouldn't be forced to take part in more of Syl's dirty work (becaue you've already done enough $%^&ed ^&*! already). But nope, looks like Blizzard is insistent on every Horde character being yesmen to Nathanos and Forsaken/Sylvanas sympathizers.
Really hard to see what Blizzard's goal is here. They do realize Horde players earned exalted with the Wardens too, right? No Horde players are going to feel good about this. Neither are any Alliance. So what IS this? Why couldn't they have ruined a different character, one that all sides of the playerbase didn't already like only one expansion past?
For those that dont know Delaryn was the nelf that led defense of darkshore and later in cinematic spoke with sylvanas if she ends now serving sylvanas that would be something really screwed up.
It's like they're weaponizing any negative feeling that you have toward someone and making it an excuse to fight for your murderer. "My brother stole my favorite toy when we were younger! I'll kill you and all the living as well! Thanks for opening my eyes, Sylvanas!"
I don't get it. Is it really necessary to create story for an MMO game? Couldn't they just continue it with game play things and leave the lore alone?
More than a lack of free will, it just seems that newly raised undead become nihilitsts.Cause we have seen several new undead just walk away from Sylvanas, but more often than not, they end up buying the sales pitch, because it becomes all that makes sense. And reading Delaryn's passing on Elegy, it's no wonder why she would follow Sylvanas "truth"Free Will does not mean unable to be manipulated, it just means you are able to make your own choices, even if those are affected by trauma.
