Geez, Wowheads been really pumping out news lately, huh?I have to check every day now. :P
I like the instance change; it's very nice for those who enjoy farming the BC dungeons.
10 Instances per hour, world bosses that give loot no matter what faction tagged them - it's mount farming time! Thanks Blizz! :D
These changes sound fabulous overall, I'm really excited for WoD. I think WoW has just gotten better and better over the years, I was talking with my friend the other day and we both agreed that if vanilla WoW came out today neither of us would have stuck around after the first couple weeks. We've both been playing since vanilla but the game is so much stronger now. All Blizzard has to do is get the stink of "LRN 2 PLAY NUBZ" $%^&*!baggery off their IP and I think they can start gaining subs again.I heard a rumor that rogue and feral druid combo points will work like monk chi, in that they'll apply to the player and not their target. That would be a great change imo, as the game has a faster pace now than it used to. I'm also glad to hear combat is dropping rupture, because that means more eviscerate and less buff/debuff fussing. Now they just need to lower white damage and increase finisher damage and we're all set! Either that or I need to go back to subtlety, but I've never really liked it in endgame PVE.For Army of the Dead, why not make it work like Mirror Image in frost/unholy specs? That way it would dump player aggro without taunting away from the tank, and it would function inobtrusively as a DPS boost for group content.I'm cautiously optimistic about the engineering changes, although the idea of them nerfing rocket boots yet again is frustrating. My rogue is already hurting from that Burst of Speed nerf, don't make things worse! If anything they should make them stack again, now that everyone will be able to have them... I miss being able to zip through old raids at 420% movement speed, it made farming faster and much more fun. And they're already disabled in ranked PVP, so who gives a &*!@?
It has been confirmed that rogue and feral points are on the player now, not the target.
I believe the Engineering change could do more harm than good. The "combat perks" for Engineering come at a great price... namely that Engineering is nearly worthless as a money-making profession. Once one of your toons has a Sky Golem, all your toons have a Sky Golem. There's almost zero demand for the few Engineering items that can currently be sold, and even if that's changed it won't be by much. A cloak enchant, a belt enchant and glove enchants? Jewelcrafters and Enchanters make money on nearly every single item upgrade in the game. You can even upgrade the enhancements with better gems or more costly enchants.I would rather keep the unique abilities, unless there's a clear way to make the profession a viable source of income.
