Blizzard definitely has an obsession with creatures having chains hanging from their nipples...thats for sure.
These models look amazing, even if the the blunderbore has shifted to chonk muscle.Shame about the zombies though, would love to see more bits of bone, but if they keep the exposed bone down it's less work for overseas I guess.
They lack color so much...They just look so grey..
I kinda liked the massive swarm of small black/red dots model better for the bug swarms than the new one.If I remember correctly, one of the mob names was "itchies" which I always found funny.
These look almost like an exact 1:1. They're crushing the models game. I just wished they'd make the female models a little more feminine. Bloodraven, Andariel, Amazon, etc. That's my only gripe.
OK, I am LOVING the shapes of all these models, but I think they need to work a bit harder on color. As we know, it's crazy important to preserve the style of DII, and strong color and shading against the muddiness of the dark backgrounds is important.Maybe they will be lit differently ingame and the fact that these are raw models just makes them look dull?
It's great seeing these creatures from up close and all the nice detail finally. :)Like I can now see that Sand Raiders are basically what happens when Baraka and Sheeva from MK put aside their differences and have kids. :DClaw Vipers need a sandwich! Or rat. Their heads are oddly raptor-like. Love that they have amulets though. LOL I always assumed Blunderbores have punk hair... I see now those are nails! :D Also, they are cyclopes, who knew? And that bloody abdomen sure gives new meaning to the version called Gorebelly.
Man I am LOVING all these new models.Incredible job.
