Perfect! I was hoping to get a heads up on how to work through these. Thanks for all the work!
Cool another guide for Legion... Awesome!
Mounts? so we won't get a new mount from any faction?
"You can destroy any crafted item, or convert 2 Blood of Sargeras, to get some Obliterum, which in turn is used to increase the ilvl of your crafted armor by +5, up to ilvl 850."This information is incorrect/improperly worded. You do not "convert" BoS to get Obliterum. You only get Obliterum from breaking down crafted gear. The 2 BoS are used to apply a Obliterum to a piece a gear.
Link to the first Underlight Angler guide appears to be broken, @perculia.Edit: working now!
I don't see the Kirin Tor Emissary quests on here, its relevant because after you complete all 4, you can choose any Reputation Token to gain more rep with. I believe Kirin Tor's Nightfallen rep is less than the other reps (500 Nightfallen?, 1k others?) but there isn't much out for rep besides Nightfallen emissary quests (rare), Nightfallen WQ, talking to the 3 NPCs, and the Withered Army training to gain more rep with Nightfallen (1 hour or less for all this). So i used the Kirin Tor Rep token to get boosted with Nightfallen faster when I was at a plateau with Nighfallen rep and quests.
What happened to First Aid?
I know we need profession skill 300 to access World quests. But how about Rank 2/3 recipes? Can we get those at Skill level 300 too? What is the disadvantage of having a profession to 300 than having it 700+ ?Thanks in advance
Yes! I was looking for guides looking like those two. :)
So after 3 expansions(wrath/cata/mists) where having 2 non-gathering professions was encouraged by perks, and 1 expansion where gathering professions were mostly useless(WoD) blizz decides to make gathering professions almost required due the a BoP crafting material(which we have always hated and will always hate) that mostly commonly comes from gathering professions. We dont want to give up our dual crafting professions. $%^& you blizz, you have no idea how your customers play your game.
Sorry but I'm not a fan of the way they are doing reputation in Legion. Its only supposed to take 2 and a half zones to hit 110. Then you need to grind out Suramar at 110 to get the Nightfallen rep. Ok fine but what if (as someone who isn't a big fan of leveling) I don't want to needlessly level in all 4 zones and then do more of it in Suramar at max level just to make sure i have all reps to be eligible to do world quests! Which in turn is needed in order to get flying at a later stage....If Blizzard wanted to make sure we had to do all 5 zones then why didn't they just make 100 - 110 take 5 zones of XP? Despite what the article says - this does feel grindy to me.I certainly wont be doing a second or third time on alts either....
The frustration for me is that I have collected recipes/patterns/plans/etc. that are no longer available. So if I switch one of my 2 crafting professions on my main to another profession (gathering) I lose those recipes forever 😢I wish there was a way, like the new Legion recipe recovery books, to store and recover our old recipes. Or, better yet, turn them into a BoA item/book for when we want to move a profession to an alt. I wouldn’t mind if it was expensive, or took some of farming to get mats/items for it.I just feel stuck with my main where having a decent profession setup for the new content (craft + matching gather, i.e., blacksmith & mining) would mean losing hard-won recipes/plans/etc. forever.
So much info, very detailed! Plenty to read and learn for when Legion drops! I hope professions stay relevant and the quest lines aren't too hard!
I asked this in one of the reputation guides comment sections, but I reckon I'm more likely to get a response here.In the reputation guides it is stated thatKilling bosses in related dungeons awards reputationDo we know how much reputation they award? And does it apply to all difficulties, or just Heroic and/or Mythic?
Nightfallen guide has been updated with a few things! Thanks for the feedback. Have to go finish up dungeon guides now :)
