The worst move ever made by blizzard ngl
I mean, who DOESN'T have $95 U.S. and 50 Alts, all at the WoW Gold Limit?(Sarcasm)(Sarcasm)(Sarcasm)(Sarcasm)
As disgusting as amount of Fails during TWW. Money is money. F making the game not buggy mess or get some dev that use brain. Pile of L moments.
as my main goal was to get gold cap t o hopefully snipe brutosaut, this was immediate buy, for only two millions, transfered most of my gold, and then paid like 10 euros for rest of it and i am happy
Thought this would also talk some about the dip in token prices after that peak, really surprised me in EU it even went a lot lower than it was before the Brutosaur.Personally, i had no plans of ever getting it, especially after seeing the prices spike so much. But the next day i realised i could get it for 'only' 1,7M or so, so figured why not ^^
Well you can still snipe the original BFA saurus so literally nothing changed for each of you
What is that graph purporting to show? The token never went up to 400,000. I never even reached 300,000 in the US.
...of course Blizzard would most desire people to pay gold for it, then they make $120 USD instead of the flat $90 USD price tag. The entire token exchange is a scam that's $5 in their favor to begin with. Most arguments I've seen say that the cash shop price tag is too small due to it being equivalent to only 1-2 million gold vs a cash equivalent that would put it closer to the 5-million.Might it not fall in merely three categories?Did you get your AH Bruto for 5-million? Than be happy, you have it.Did you NOT get your AH Bruto for 5-million? Than be happy, you can now get an AH mount considerably cheaper.Did you get your Bruto before but want an AH/Mail mount now? Than be happy, you can have both.
WoW 20th anniversary special edition mount, hmmm. All I can offer to you folks is that while the in store cash purchase may be a bit of a turn off for many, as it costs pretty much that same as the epic expansion, ($90 US, I have to pay $135 CDN for mine) I believe that it was offered simply because it is a special "Mail" and "Auction House" mobile station to a great many players who appreciate having such a mount. It was not offered as an in store purchase to upset players, it is just something very unique and obviously a good investment for veteran players. The BfA version is pretty much off limits to the majority of players save for the goblin community as it seems to be capped on the BMAH in seconds when it occasionally is offered. Not every one plays here to make gold to buy things and game time. Much to the disbelief of many players, in the early days of WoW, there was no such thing as a "wow-token", and black market gold farming ops were notorious and damaging to the game's economy and account security. I was there in the mid-Lich King expansion in early 2009, it was by far cheaper to play, easier to buy mats, and farm for nodes on gatherer's. I miss those days a great deal. Now, I walk into the AH and see stuff I just won't buy because it slaps me in the face with the cost. I hop on my dual-gatherer and a few hours later I have what I need to get by for the week on my main and small party of alts. Mogs maybe harder to acquire, but are do-able and even recipes for crafting are still farmable for the most part if you truly want to invest your time into it.When I see players complain about making a highly desirable feature in the game that they no longer can take advantage of, like buy it and then turn around and sell it to profit, I have to shake my head and ask, why? Seriously? It made sense to offer this mount as a cash purchase. It didn't ruin the goblin economic plan and it only took off a whole lot of tokens sitting in the void for player's gold.I see that the gold to token graphs can and will over time make gold in earnest for those watching the market, and I am pleased to see that if I'm patient, I can make some gold, buying a token or three for cash and selling it to players like yourselves when it comes up more. I have no time to farm and sell and this is how I play Warcraft. Enjoy the adventure and reap the spoils. Thanks for your post Samadan, as always, it seems you have some very good topics. Of all the things I read on Wowhead.com, I really enjoy these post a lot. :)
i dont know where you all are getting your numbers.the week before TWW launched on the emerald dream realm, a wow token was listed at 380,000 gold value on the wow store.today it's 257k. if the demand was actually higher than it was in the weeks leading up to TWW it would be near 380k or higher by now. this is another nonsense article.
It does not MATTER, weather this mount or it's previous version, costed 5 million in gold, or now 90$. No single mount, under any circumstance, should cost at best, more than 25$, if it costs more than that, it should be coming with extras, which this trash mount doesn't. If it had say, Repairs, Transmog, Mail & an Auction House, oh right, maybe if it could Fly too, I'd say maybe 45$ at best, but no. 90$ is a lot of money to be throwing around, I don't care how much gold people have, this is a subject on how much cash the damned thing costs, do whatever you want, if people are willing to pull their cards out for this, I won't be surprised when the cost of other things spike.
