This is good example of overcomplicated encounter that is overbloated with mechanics that should not exist to begin with. Why this needs to be so overcomplicated? There's no reason to...Just nerf tank buster to the ground because it sucks and keep the dot that needs to be dispelled by healer ASAP and problem solved...
Good guide!
Thanks Wowhead, we need more of these tips! =)
Fun is that if you parry it you dont get the debuff, literally turning 180° everytime tank buster happens so i dont accidently parry. The debuff itself isnt complicated tbh but considerin how dodge/parry is such a fundamental thing for tanks they really should've thought bout that.
This whole dungeon is doing the opposite of everything you learned in Wow. A boss that puts a magic debuff on your tank that you shouldn't dispel asap, a boss that puts up pillars that you don't want to break right away, a boss with adds that shouldn't kill as soon as possible, etc.I am suprised that there isn't an encounter where you need to stand in fire to heal. This place is a nightmare in pugs.
My healer and I still don't see much reason to care about this mechanic at 8 with tyrannical active. As a warrior tank, the tankbuster was still barely tickling each time it came out. Maybe once we hit 12s we'll care about it, but no tank should have any trouble surviving every cast below 10 regardless of how the healer handles the dispel.
Falling for tomrus bait in 2024 lol
Once dispelled, it grants the Tank Stone Shield, a 50% Damage Reduction buff that lasts for 6 secondsIt's 20% damage reduction. It's also funny to read the other comments from people who cannot even handle the dungeons around +5-6.If you're at the level of 5-6, you literally have very little say as you're probably way about your head in keystone level. The current M+ has some things needed to fix/nerf, but as a whole it's very good.
Dispell when Weakaura, DBM, BigWigs, Brain tell you when. Dungeon WA just has a 15 second countdown.
