Great guides! Thank you!
Nice guide.
If this is a guide for new players, why list links to a future patch? All that does is serve to confuse those trying to learn the game. Sure those 7.3 links are useful for players who already know the game and are leveling alts, but has no usefulness to a truly new player.
I wish I'd known about Wowhead when I first started. I missed out on so much!
I wish 7.3 was nowmostly because the unsullied items are BoA which is so good for alts that leveled through invasions (lol @ my DK's ilvl which is like 720)
at the start or the new players guys in red words has to be said : NEVER EVER START THE GAME its NOT A PLACE TO SOLO PLAY , if you dont have a friend to hold your hand ( Sort of speak) the community will flame and kick you most of the time , rarely one will find people willing to explain stuff to someone. One has to look up the forums to find a guild on some realm that is for such players and start there othewise one will find WoW repulsive .
I thought the newcomer's guide was good, but I was confused by the "what to do in the first 10 minutes" teaser. Nowhere in the guide did I see anything about what to do in the first 10 minutes, although obviously account and character creation would easily take up all of that 10 minutes and more. I guess I was expecting some tips about what to do once you've created your character -- things like set up your spell bars, turn on auto-loot, set your hearthstone -- things that maybe one wouldn't know to do right away, but make early gameplay much easier. But having said that, the information in the guide itself was excellent.
