I will build Barracks first, the additional XP missions could prove very worthy. Coupled with the Salvage Yard and the War Mill/Dwarven Bunker I can equip my followers super fast which will reward me with more gear from missions.
Just what i needed. All the info in one place. Thanks.
well i know im gonna do the mount/pet buildings on an alt as those will most likely carry over and be account wide, what im concerned about is the titles, if they are account bound ill do it on an alt as well and focus on raid buildings on my main, if not then i'll have the Gladiator's sanctum on my main as well
Im just here for anything purple.
You forgot the Lunarfall Inn's Mission for an extra Seal of Tempered Fate. Yes, an extra. Not a cost-free one - an EXTRA. I've been getting that Mission weekly for a couple months now. I'm pretty sure an extra Seal a week is good for Raiders.
I'm glad there's a decent amount of crossover for the pets/mounts specific building layouts. It's nice they didn't make it so different as to really force the hand of a player in choosing between one or the other.
Great guide, just that one that i wanted to see !
Could you link me the mission you are talking about? Thanks!
You forgot one toy from the list, there is also the Autographed Hearthstone Card toy you get from a special garrison mission. And there is several toys you can get from the various daily quests from the lunarfall inn, like lillian's warning sign, manastorms duplicator, and gamon's braid.
Added, thanks :)
I'm thinking that trying to get all the "fun" buildings right away is contra-indicated? And we should focus on resource-gathering and upgrading followers? For instance, if I know that I want to have a Forge in my (plate-wearing, miner/herbalist) main's garrison, I'd focus on getting the Salvage Yard first, get the Inn as soon as possible, then get a Blacksmithing follower, send them out on missions to level and gear up, THEN build a Forge and put in the follower (because they supposedly increase the rewards of work orders, if they reach level 100, or something).(NOTE: I'm not in the beta, this is based on wowhead guides and comments I've seen...)Edit: Well, crud. It looks like the Salvage Yard is a Spires of Arak reward (level 96, IIRC?), for choosing the correct outpost. Or waiting until level 100, to buy it from the vendor. Hmmmm...
Great guide!
These garrisons are going to be tons of fun
Sorry but am I the only one severely disappointed with the lack of PvP support Garrisons give? There's literally 1 building designed for it and by just looking at the small 2 line PvP section I feel saddened. Blizz could have done so much to help PvP using garrisons...Oh well maybe they'll add some more support for it in some new buildings as the expac goes on.
