The Rushing Jade Wind changes can't be accurate, right? There's actually no way in hell that makes sense whatsoever... it was just rotational bloat before anyway that the tier set made so good outside of pad & mobile healing.

Why does the dev for ret pally hate the spec so much? They've done nothing except force people to play a concecrate build by nerfing literally EVERYTHING else in ret's toolkit. The playstyle is disgusting and ruined and it hits like a wet noodle at this point. I almost wish Ghostcrawler was back.

I stopped subbing in September with their treatment of Guardian on beta. 5 days til prepatch and a month til launch, Guardian's still without any response from the devs despite the mass amount of constructive feedback provided to them.
So they added an old spell anew even tho gutted in to oblivion - Zen Pulse, back to the mistweaver kit , pushing players to use it by buffing it every tuning manifesto when the spell is totally useless as it is, used for no more than a filler here and there, meanwhile nerfing the core toolkit of what makes mistweaver a mistweaver and the overall changes that are happening are overall quite bad of MW healing in Raid environment and its is very doubtful we gona see them there at all as their current toolkit of spells is mostly good in M+.... This is what Zen Pulse was back in the days, if they wanna make it viable again they gotta change it completely : Zen Sphere: Overview:Zen Sphere is interesting because it can be cast on two targets. This is great for healers, but Brewmaster and Windwalker need a focus macro or healing frames to use it effectively.The HoT and DoT are not competitive with the alternative L30 talents, even on two targets. But they are close.If you maintain Zen Sphere on two targets and effectively use the Detonation, Zen Sphere is a very competitive choice.Due to the two target requirement, outside of highly situational encounters, remains a largely Mistwalker-only affair.Zen Sphere: HoT/DoT: Zen Pulse heals 8 times for 9% AP (10.8% for Mistweavers) over 16 seconds, total healing of 72%/144%. And the Ret cycle continues. Step 1: Make it have less or same utility as Holy and Prot so the spec gets overshadowed by them. Step 2: Give it a lot of damage so people start saying "Don't complain, the spec hits like a truck!" on the forums during Alpha and Beta.Step 3: Nerf damage to low-middle of the pack levels, essentially removing any and all reason to bring a ret to a raid other than "It's the only spec plays".Step 4: Repeat it next expansion. Like seriously, ever since Legion this spec has been in the gutter, from both a class design perspective(Walmart Diablo 3 Crusader) as well as desirability. This was their chance to rework it and threw it away. I usually hate the mentality of "If my class doesn't feel good to play I won't play the expansion" but man, to say that their way of handling Paladins in Dragonflight didn't kill my hype would be a lie, hell, I just quit the game all together, didn't even stick around for WotLK launch, just wasted my time getting my pally to 70 on Skyfury. If the expansion ends up being good a few months in I might end up buying it, but not feeling really hopeful right now.
Okay enough has to be enough, what do Blizzard expect in Dragonflight? Right now it feels like they want every melee playing Windwalker, so many melee classes have been getting nerfed yet the literal gods of the beta right now haven't been touched.
