Just when Necrolord hunter was about to look good
Some "Legendary" items look like conduits. Not sure who would actually want to play them if none of the gameplay nor the damage / utility gets a meaningful addition.
I was still ok with only 3 targets, but you just killed all interest in Necrolord legendary. Not even going to bother trying it out now. There's only dozens of us for you to give this to, but that doesn't matter I guess.Edit: The only way I will try this is if you can stack Explosive Shots on a single target. Casting it as MM and then using Death Chakram on the same target for two explosions at once does sound very bursty and effective. I mostly play Survival and Wildfire Cluster is still going to be ahead, but 3-5 targets may have been competitive with that, not anymore.
Anyone know why Fodder to the Flame keeps popping up? As far as I can tell nothing about the ability changes each time.
Oh yea nerfe Bm hunters even more cause we are overpowered in raid and we are on top of the meters!
As one of your fellow dozen necro hunters, I've been playing with it on ptr for the last couple of days. I had some 35k+ burst on target dummies even with the just 2 targets proccing because of the splash damage hitting additional targets. As BM any burst is welcome so maybe don't write it off completely yet.
Also note - chaos damage is chromatic comprising of multi schools of magic . That’s why it’s a random school of magic so you can’t make a demon hunter increase all magic taken. Buffs X school, due to probably avoiding multi buffs for example. I’m no demon hunter but I’d like to hear more from a DH on that who has a level head wanting to discuss.
Can anyone explain why these legendaries aren't legendary at all?
keep nerfing that legendary iwas considering it but now ill pass now
Master's Call sounds interesting, but will it make Cunning pets viable? Because they're pretty crap. All it does on live is calls your pet back at high speed to remove any snares on you. Useful if your Disengage is on CD (it clears a lot of snares), but Ferocity's attack speed buff and Tenacity's on-demand defensive still greatly outweigh Cunning in almost every single scenario. I wonder what the additional effects will be, though I doubt they'll make Cunning stand out.Wild Kingdom sounds like an attempt to make Cunning pets useful. Too little I say, since Cunning pets are pretty useless and lack the defensive options of the Tenacity and Ferocity pets with nothing to make up for it. You'll get a budget Mend Pet while you have a worse pet for 10 seconds. You won't use this in many situations at all. If anything, you'll only see it used in PvP when your opponents are generous and haven't instantly nuked your pet. In raids and dungeons, your pet won't be taking damage unless you're making mistakes, and in the open world, you won't need this at all since Mend Pet is more than enough unless you pulled way too much. These hunter changes are fairly lackluster since Cunning pets are so bad. Cunning needs a rework, since they die so much faster and bring little to the table when compared to Ferocity and Tenacity. These little bonuses are just bandaids on something that's just not looking good in general. I want to use the Cunning pets, but they're only good when they're used as secondary pets in Beast Mastery's animal companion. Also, F for Necrolord Hunters, that chakram nerf is rough.
There is no way that these are legendaries on their own. Maybe we will equip one leggo, and ontop of it a covenant leggo too.
Lol the comments about the target number change are funny
Necrolord was about to be a bit more viable but no we have to cater to the 1%, smh, they fire 800 people who aren't complete numbskulls and left all the bad devs who don't play or care about the game.
