I didn't know you could optimizate the archivist's codex :p
they added way too much hidden stuff/things that reward rep/research to this reputation. its really annoying that you need literal weakauras to find out what youve done and havent done with them for the day and what's efficient and when to stop farming it.
The main one is in the article. You can search korthia on wago and find the big ticket ones.
People use WeakAuras for almost everything these days, its nothing special. I has become part of the game, same as ilvl and other things.Im just sad its not called StrongAuras, because it actualy Strong for your character.
pretty hard to optimize RNG...I've played every single minute in Korthia with one of my friends...He's got almost 700 more reputation than me.
Korthia has become even worse than Maw in terms of spending time to max out your currency/rep. Yes, prices for conduits/sockets are lower but in the Maw we were doing 3 daily quests and several rares. In Korthia it's 4 daily quests (at Rank 4) 100500 chests and rares. Moreover, in Maw respawn was instant(except rare elites), so you could plan your route. In Korthia though most of the time I spend time just waiting for a respawn(treasure/rare) or run around constantly hoping that something nearby spawns. This is not a gameplay. And it's already tedious on 1 char. And there are more - rifts, with their rooting mobs. At least it only has few caches and rares.Pure grind. 0 fun.
I might get flamed for this, but pre 9.1 maw gave me more of a sence of completion each day. I would do the dailies - kill my rares and when they eye got red... well that was it. I felt I had dome my part for the day. Now, every time I leave Korthia to do what I actually enjoy, I feel I am letting my poor shaman down by not pushing the boundries of my sanity by doing rounds and killing every single rare around or searching every nook and crany for those chests..
No thanks. I'm not doing these dumb chores every day. This isn't content.
Why even worry about optimizing it? To complete it faster so you are completely out of content to do so you can get bored and move back on to another game? Did farming the maw every single day optimizing everything you could do there when the expansion came out end up beneficial to anyone in the long run, other than just make people absolutely hate the maw? (Curious tbh if it was actually beneficial. I spent the smallest amount of time possible in the maw and I didn't necessarily feel like I was missing out on much but I could be wrong.)Just saying we had what, "almost" (for those that think fact checking the actual length matters) 8 months of 9.0? If we have the same amount of time before the next patch I'm sure most people will still be just fine unless you're suuuuper casual like myself....but maybe that's why I find it comical that people think they need to fully optimize everything in game.edit: I also like the fact that this article in my interpretation says "Go to Korthia and do everything there, every day"
