Lawsuits is nobody's favorite thing.
Blizzard: pls pause lawsuitCali: we have no plans at this time, but we'll do it if we think it makes sense
You think you want to pause it, but you don't
It's a shame ActiBlizz higherups haven't so much as acknowledged that the BetterABK demands exist. If they did, I might take their "reforms" seriously.
Thinking "a bad expansion" is the only thing Blizzard has done wrong to their players is grossly dismissive of all that has been going on.
Blizzard confused at the idea of something being done QUICKLY.
Well lets face it for last years blizzard become greedy. They keep going on games and opinion that made years before this all swamp come out. From studio which was focusing on making good games and provide entertainment of higher level they focus on money only. And those things that happen to them is only a reaction of their behaviour. And all those things they trying to do to save face not gonna help. Deleting characters form games changing, changing policy about abuse and all those stuff with bully and sexual harassment, well they get what they give. To bad for long time was one the best game maker company in world but now its really sad how they fell. It was a result of their greed. NOT sorry for them. RIP (I hope so)
I bet Acti-Blizz is through the settlement negations trying to push EEOC to stop the DFEH. EEOC was very lenient, where as DFEH is going for blood. plus ABK in EEOC settlement agreement was to consider issue dealt with. And hoping everything to disappear. But before settlement concluded the DFEH jumped on board to screw up the plan of pushing it all under the rug.
I´m actually glad. Let this company rot.
If an ethical violation is what kills the game for good, then . . . I guess we don't deserve to have their games.
Lets be real here.Blizz is gonna lose couple hundred mil of dollaras on this stuff and its gonna be heartbreaking to see WOW realms getting down one by one.
This lawsuit will fall apart for California.
KEK. May ActiBlizz finally die. Here's hoping someone else will take over their games so we can get some quality back in the franchise.
You should consider adding some of this content in the original article.EDIT: It's a lot of content to add to an already full article, so if anything, I think the fact that both cases can develop concurrently is something that easily gets lost in this story.
