inb4 pve players angry
This is a good change. Rating decay also helps.
lol, great change. Now boosters have to get their 2.1 in at least another bracket if they want to drop rating in 2s to boost. RBG is back on the menu kek
LOL this is gonna make so many people mad
when I read the first half of the title I actually had hope that they were going to reduce the ilvl gap inside instanced pvp. How foolish of me
Time to make even more gold with pvp boosts [:
This is how it was already since Shadowlands launched. I think this is just a tooltip clarification
Agreed, And 1 win only? Not 2? or 5? I gotta do 10 mythics (300+ minutes) for 3 options but just 1 pvp match to upgrade as much gear as i want for normal BG's....Close blizz, real close. just hire a PvP staff.
EZ, weekly income for the boosters instead of 1-and-done with customers
Good even less of a reason for PvE players to participate in a second rate system.
You guys realize this is a horrible change right? This isnt what we as pvpers want. We want the Ilvl scaling from Rating to be REMOVED not made harder.Boosters ALREADY had rating in other brackets to continue upgrading gear. IF you hit 2400 and then tanked to 1800 you COULD NOT upgrade gear to 226/233. the moment you drop 31 rating below you lost access to upgrading. ALL this does is screw over people who are not actively playing, or got screwed over by boosters/rng (comp related counters) and got put 30 rating below. You guys saying this is good, don't realize this has 0 effect on you or anyone who actively is pvping and only screws over the people who don't. This isnt going to fix anything, this isnt going to help anything.
This is actually a good change even though it feels bad, this influences more pvp matches and simply makes sense, some people rushes high ranks or gets boosted and never play again. The problem is that they are way off the mark on things like conduit energy where it serves no purpose
How about you reduce the ilvl pvp gear gapThats honestly the biggest issue right now.
I mean all they really had to do was make it so PvP trinkets aren't so viable in PvE. The flat stat bonus procs or on use is always going to be far superior to the roleplay trinkets you find in raids which often add extra unnecessary mechanics. The item level difference isn't going to affect the trinkets as much, so hopefully there are better trinkets in raid that drop frequently enough to not make buying a trinket in PvP so much easier of a solution.
Give us WoD pvp gearing system already...
