It feels weird that blue items are now even more rare than epics.
I understand, that Blizzard wants to reward or motivate people for doing older content. Okay, that is fine. But we are really coming very close to the point, where you will get rewarded even for login. Basically, legendaries are the new epics. Blues are the new greens. Greens are the new greys.
Welcome to nutella world of warcraft.
Not entirely sure why raise the gear and monster lvl in Normal dungeons. I thought these were for people still leveling and I don't think the average gear of someone under 110 is going to drastically go up next patch.
Niiiice! Love the MM+ dungeon's system in Legion, it's good that dungeon are still usefull one year after the launch of the exp.Hope they keep that for the next, I can play in a casual raid guild and still get difficulty elsewhere.
I guess they'll need to take a step back for the next expansion and reconsider how rewards (drops) work. I do miss the times when being full-epic geared actually meant a lot. Nowadays its mostly about the ilvl and the effects. And for the love of God, just don't create any more legendaries. The game went from WORLD of Warcraft to Diablo3+
Do you understand that this is done so that people who have only come into play could catch up with the rest at least a little?
This doesn't feel like it's helping the people it's intended to help.... fresh alts need gear, but making the dungeons harder makes it more frustrating to get the gear on said fresh alts. Non-fresh toons are already beyond this stuff, and there's better TF opportunities elsewhere... /shrug.Edit: And the scaling is just going to screw with M+ again probably.
idk if you're new to enchanting, but the whole "turn the big resource into some of the little resource" wasn't added because of a lack of rares. It's been around for a decade now.
To be honest, this is a double-edged sword.Right now, if you ding 110, you are in a really @#$%ty spot, because actually getting in a HC is really difficult, and you can't really use the catchup because where do you reasonably get Nethershards from? This will be even more difficult in 7.3, although I have seen that the gear tokens might be BOA, so its not as bad.
I imagine they'll also bump the base level of crafted gear again, so the ilevel jump from 109 to 110 is going to be pretty dramatic. Hopefully the base/minimum ilevel of World Quest gear also goes up so just getting into the dungeon is less onerous.
If you are getting frustrated with doing a dungeon because the gear isn't dropping than you are doing something wrong lol. Granted I know the feeling when you want something to drop and it doesn't but it is good that they are making things a little challenging in the dungeons because that forces everyone to work together and not just be everyone for themselves in pugs. I think before we start assuming what this change is going to look like how about trying the PTR or wait to see what fully happens when they release this because everything in the PTR isn't going to stick as long as there are people like wowhead testing this stuff.
Welfare epics for the spoiled and entitled players. This all started with Smith Hauthaa back in TBC; when WoW started messing with the psychology of routine rewards. We'll never get these types of players off of Blizzard's nip, evidenced by the large number of players that will eventually want guaranteed mount drops after a certain number of intervals. WoW is going to keep catering to this mindset, Legion has set the pattern for allowing the narrowest power gap in the game.
crafted gear is going to 935 in 7.3
