Awesome run through of everything and really whets my appetite for this feature. Am I really going to do it on all my 12 100s though? Only time will tell.
King varian in my garrison? u wot m8
I wonder if the ships gonna count towards the 25 out of 25 followers, cause if they do its gonna be a hard start for week number one :/
I think the ships are going to end up as a separate thing--when we can preview more, we'll be looking to split up the regular followers from ship followers in the database.
I hope they run the stormwind harbor music in my harbor.Else I finally found something usefull for the useless soundbox.I also hope the Orc crew got some drunk sea pups with them. Remind me of the undead sea pups.
What'd be really nice to see is some huge improvement from Blizzard on Cooking and Fishing (and if they continue to including followers for both garrison and ships) - to allow us to use followers from our garrison to operate on-board with different benefits. Like, "Nat Pagle" - to have the option to fish up more, larger quantity fishes (as a work order) if he's put on board the ships.
I don't particularly like the location that the harbor appears to be. Was hoping for it to be by the tower with steps down to it. It'll be such a pain having to go out the front door of the garrison and running around the moonwell place just to get to the harbor. Can we get a backdoor? Like the horde has.
They added a backdoor actually! going to add a picture in.
I was so excited for this that I redownloaded the ptr to help test and get it right. But all I have done for two days is log in, fly from garrison, get dc'd, world server down, relog in, fly from garrison again, dc, world down, you get the picture. Atleast I can read about it here. Thanks.
They added a path by the Menagerie--similar to where the backdoor was in a level 1 Garrison.
Does the quest work for the Horde?Or where do you pick up "Let's Get To Work"?
There are equivalent Horde quests--should be able to see them by going to "See also" on the quest page, or searching through the 6.1.2 quests added yesterday.
So far on the PTR the first ship looks to be a cargo ship. The ship design looks new but like most Alliance or Horde ship it has no cannons. Blizzard devs really need to take a field trip to the maritime museum in San Diego (highly recommended). Historically cargo ships had cannons to fend off pirates. Hopefully the other ships are better designed. an Alliance/Horde wooden ship with no cannons will have no chance against the Iron Horde's metal clads that are heavily armed
Looks like it's being build near the fishing village. 'bout time they did something about that old orc tub just sitting there.
thank you blizzard ships in wow this game couldn't get any better can it?
any info on whats gona look like in the Horde Garrison? i dont want king varian there ¬¬
