For Azeroth!
Finally, destro locks! Woo
Hell, it's about time
Woohoo optimistic about destro!
Can't wait to see the feedback!
"Growl threat massively increased."Maybe hunter pets can finally hold aggro like they once could way back in the past? Maybe even hold a raid boss finally?
They should never use the name "Tigereye Brew" for anything in the game, it is the scourge of Windwalkers.
Legion Alpha/Beta is really shaping up... All of the specs are released and the level cap has been implemented! I give the open beta next month or June at the latest! Legion Hype! Good Work Blizz and Wowhead!
Emissary quests remind me of the Daylies in Hearthstone and HotS. Nice idea.
I was told they were pruning every class. I feel like they threw in talents that have no business being there. WTH is Demonic Circle doing in the talent tree? Why? That's like taking away Blink from Mages and shoving it in their talent tree. Also why Fire $ Brimstone? Seems like they buffed rain of fire quite a bit.
the blood changes are abit odd to me because there are alot of talents rows where you have one that does alot less than the rest, like 2nd or 3rd
what form of damage do the spirits of storm earth and fire do? we have been over this many times with blizzard before, pets deal with armor and resistances, so a 10% increase per spirit isn't 35% its probably closer to 5% and will be a #$%^ty, spammed on CD cooldown for a marginal DPS gain... blizzard has a disturbing pattern with monks of finding a spell and saying "hey that spell is really cool, what if we make that one spell your ENTIRE rotation? wouldn't you guys love that?" and we say no and they say "yes you would, shut up, you don't know what you are talking about", they did it with guard, they did it with fists of fury, now they are doing it with Storm, earth, and fire. fellow monks, i welcome you to the newest expansion for monks only, world of warcraft: storm, earth, and fire! .... in all fairness though id like to at least give them a chance to make this a cool change so ill try to remain reserved until i see it in action.
Man...remember when they said they'd have the Beta up by the end of last year? Here we are, middle of April, and -only now- do they even have all the specs available and level 110 on the -Alpha-. This kinda worries me about their ability to deliver the expansion by the end of summer. They have five months to START the Beta, get all the info and bug testing they need from the Beta, and release the expansion. That's not even taking into account that they've promised early release of the Demon Hunter class to pre-orders, and the ~month long pre-patch, which they have to have almost everything ready for anyway since it brings patch 7.0 to live servers. I want...REALLY WANT to love this expansion. I've been a big fan of WoW for a long time, though the complete lack of content in Warlords caused me to stop playing the game...I just couldn't take running the same bosses over and over and over week after week, month after month. I had really hoped that the dearth of content in Warlords meant that we'd have a quick, smooth transition into Legion, that they'd been working on it for a long time already, but...September 21st is hardly -early- for an expansion, let's be honest...hell, the time between Warlords and Legion (November 13, 2014 - ~September 21, 2016) is going to be longer than the time between Cataclysm and Mists (December 7, 2010 - September 25, 2012), and that's with Cataclysm getting three content patches instead of just the one that Warlords got. This all makes me wonder what the heck the Blizzard team has been doing with their time, and if we'll even see Legion this year, let alone this summer.
World quests do actually sound good.I do hope that they don't lock out casuals from some outdoor areas by tuning them for raiding gear, though. (I wasn't all that active in LK or Cata, but in MoP and WoD, having to gear up before I could go to areas where I could gear up more was kind of frustrating...)
Considering they just now implement the level cap, I'm pretty worried about the deliverance time, regarding how much was cut from WoD. Even then so, they haven't learned from the mistake of Garrisons and the Shipyards. Sure, the Order Halls aren't isolating you, but they are still restricting you to the hub area because the mission board gives you the quests. Gone are the days where you actually get to go out and explore the massive, beautiful world that they built for us, to find quests and follow mini-stories within the game world. I really, really fear for this expansion. I don't want it to suck, I really don't, but given that Blizzard does not want to respond to actual issues that the fans have with this game and how they shut down Nostalrius to prevent the nostalgic players from playing the game they really loved, I'm fearful that Blizzard is going down a slippery slope. I just hope it changes, but now with all this, that hope seems very scarce.
