I thought the bonfire quests were supposed to reset each year? Can't do Pandaria ones at all.
Just want to say Thank you.Two years ago I first set foot in Azeroth and when I started looking online for infos on how to get anything done I quickly discovered Wowhead was the definitive game manual for WoW. And so today after having missed Summer Festival altogether last year I went and completed all of this.A long, strange trip indeed. But it wouldn't be complete as of yet without Wowhead for sure.Keep up the good work and I'll be happy to keep contributing.
Since it's relevant to the discussion--I wrote a personal blog on why I feel the lack of holiday updates is a problem and tracked what updates were added each year. It seems like 2011 was the last time most holidays got major revamps.
Same here, I can do the bonfires elsewhere but not in Pandaria.
Am I the only one who thinks of Arkanoid with the music that plays when you dance around the fire pole?
Hiya all, this is just a quick question regarding King of the Fire Festival / A Thief's Reward / A Thief's Reward . I have a f2p account. I'm enjoying running around on my little lvl 20s since I've taken a break from all my 90s. I would like to know if anyone with a lvl 20 or under (horde or ally) has had any luck stealing the capital city flames this season. Thanks! :) <3
@Lumi13, I think you'd be able to do it if you corpse-ressed a bunch to get to the flames. Depending on how close guards are to the actual flames, though, you might need a diversion to be able to click and loot it... but you can always wait by the res until someone else comes along and try that.
Thanks! :)
They could have updated the ilvl on the Ahune drops - surely that doesn't require an entire team of devs. When you hit 90 you are sent to the isle where 496 are everywhere so 480 on a holiday boss is a joke when 496 is baseline fresh 90 content - particularly as it is supposed to be a special holiday boss. It is only available once a year so I am happy to keep the same mechanics but this far into the xpac it is a cop out to still to have 480 ilvl - why would anyone bother doing it? Particularly when VP have now been removed from Ahune. Haters gunna hate I know but this is uncharacteristically out of touch by blizz
helped alot
Download this useful addon, it will show you where are all the bonfires on the map! you can thank me later :)http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/handynotes_summerfestival/796256-client
There's grinding during such events and after that everything's done. So there should be something to do that's simply just fun - and can only be done during the event. Also options to spread the festival spirit. Aaand it's a shame that low leveled characters are always excluded from dungeons or can't simply access some areas necessary to get their achievements. Not a good spirit towards starters. In general this could use a fun rework in all directions because even when I did this on max level: flying everywhere was just time consuming and not fun.
How do I get to Darnassus if when I die in the boat I boat gosht respawn in darkshore and I die from fatigue?I can't fly since I'm lvl 20 f2p ....
I agree ^^ I'm a lvl 20 f2p and even tough I have 2 of the 4 flames (Ironforge & Stormwind) Its hard to get the other 2 without a high lvl character... I was really sad when I noticed that there was a dungeon that I couldn't join since it required lvl 89.I'm happy that they removed the lvl requirement to accept the flames quests, tough. It would be nice if they would do the same for the boss and add something fun to do other than grind a boss every day...
Thanks for the guide, it really made getting the extinguish and honor achievements faster.
I guess I'll kill Ahune a couple times...
