The latest Cataclysm hotfixes have been posted; Blizzard is now calling this "4.0.6a." New hotfixes have just been added, so check 'em all out!
Notable changes include:
(

Tiro Automatico
was not firing while the hunter was moving under certain conditions. Auto Shot should now always function correctly while the hunter is moving.
Some Vicious Gladiator's weapons (item level 359) incorrectly had their costs increased. This has been corrected. Two-hand and ranged weapons now cost 3400 Conquest Points, while one-hand and caster weapons now cost 2450 Conquest Points.
All Vicious Gladiator's weapons (item level 372) have been temporarily removed from the Glorious Conquest Quartermasters until the time is right to officially introduce them into Azerothian society.

First Batch of Patch 4.0.6 Hotfixes Posted! (Feb 8)
The first batch of post-4.0.6 hotfixes went live today, and I'm sure we can anticipate quite a few more over the upcoming weeks.
Notable changes include:
Players who have used the Paid Race Change service to transfer to a
Goblin
or
Worgen
character post-patch 4.0.6 can properly use the Dungeon Finder again.
Amore nell'Aria
has been extended by 48 hours. The in-game Calendar should now reflect it runs through February 20.
(new passive specialization) is now properly functioning for Restoration druids, allowing them to get out of root effects by using Shapeshift. Logging out or changing zones no longer causes the spell to be unlearned.

Latest Cataclysm hotfixes have been posted!
Notable hotfixes include:
Heroic set tokens have been moved to earlier bosses on 25-player Heroic difficulty (chest from Halfus, legs from Maloriak, gloves from Magmaw, helm from Nefarian, shoulder from Cho'gall).
Tokens for normal versions of the helm and shoulder set pieces (item level 359) now drop from Nefarian and Cho'gall on Heroic difficulty, as they are required to purchase the Heroic helm and shoulder pieces (item level 372). An additional change to this functionality is slated for patch 4.0.6.
Horde players now correctly gain 75 Bilgewater reputation as well when completing the Lunar Festival elder quests as part of the Horde reputation gain.

Notable hotfixes include:
Guild experience daily resets should no longer sometimes fail to occur.
(
Cavaliere della Morte
)
Assalto Necrotico
is now affected by resilience.
(
Druido
)
Rinvigorimento
now consumes 16% of base mana, down from 26%, but still requires 26% of base mana in order to be cast.
(
Mago
) The mana costs of the following mage spells have been reduced, but they still require the previous percentage of base mana in order to be cast:
Sbarramento Arcano
(11% of base mana),
Detonazione Arcana
(7% of base mana), and
Palla di Fuoco
(12% of base mana). As an example,
Palla di Fuoco
requires 16% base mana to cast, but only consumes 12% of base mana.
Pietra Alchemica Possente
can no longer be disenchanted.
In addition, there are a number of
Tol Barad
questing fixes and changing. Apparently not even the quests can be properly balanced.

Latest Cataclysm Hotfixes (January 6)
That will teach us to say the hotfixes are slow in coming. Blizzard has hit us with another round of hotfixes today!
Most of the changes are pretty minor encounter re-tunings and bug fixes, but a few are worth reading:
Entering Tol Barad via the bridge during an active battle by joining the queue will port the player to the correct starting place of the battle, but players who do not join the queue will be ported back to the camp.
Shapeshifted characters should no longer be unable to jump on the rope during the Vanessa VanCleef encounter. They will now be pulled out of a shapeshift form automatically. In addition, players should no longer lose pets when jumping on the rope (they will respawn when the player lands after swinging). Please note that until a client-side patch can be applied, an inappropriate aura will be displayed when pet classes or shapeshifted characters use the rope. The tooltip of this aura will read "Delicious Aura (UNUSED REUSE) / Instant / Delicious food increases haste by 10%" and can be disregarded, as it does not provide a haste buff. It's an aura of free word association... Enjoy!

Guild Flask and Cauldron Hotfixes
Blizzard just announced some hotfixes to flask-related achievements! Specifically:
Maestro dei miscugli
now requires your guild to craft 1,000 Cataclysm flasks (down from 10,000).
Piccolo chimico
now requires your guild to craft 3,000 Cataclysm flasks (down from 25,000).

Ricetta: Gran Calderone da Battaglia
significantly easier!

Tol Barad Honor Reward Hotfixed Yet Again
Recently, Blizzard
hotfixed
the honor rewards for the
Tol Barad
battleground to grant attacking players a whopping 1800 Honor Points for a victory. This was intended to promote actually bothering to attack, as it appears that the battleground is so stacked on defense it was not worth the trouble. However, this led to an unintended and undesired result - players were instead win-trading and purposefully throwing battles on defense so that they would have a chance to switch places and reap that sweet 1800 Honor reward for attacking. As this was not Blizzard's intention at all, the Honor reward has been adjusted yet again for attacking players, now awarding a mere 360 Honor points (twice what is earned for a successful defense).
As you’re probably aware by now, an update was applied to Tol Barad shortly before the holidays which granted the attacking side 1800 Honor Points for a victory. While the goal with that change was to provide more incentive for the attack

Latest Cataclysm Hotfixes (December 21)
Blizzard has just posted a larger batch of hotfixes for today, including some arena-oriented changes, minor profession changes and even what appear to be some raid content nerfs! Most notable changes this batch include:
Rare
Archeologia
finds should now grant triple skill gains.
Liquame Elementale
s now drop 100% of the time off of Cataclysm elementals for the Jewelcrafting daily quest.
(Blackrock Caverns) The duration of the
Armatura d'Argentovivo Surriscaldata
debuff on
Karsh Piegacciaio
is now 17 seconds, up from 12 seconds. The encounter was too hard to tank and went against our intended fight mechanics. The display for this buff may not properly update until a client-side patch is applied.
(Warrior)
Tempesta di Lame
now deals 150% normalized weapon damage as advertised. It was incorrectly dealing 100% normalized weapon damage.

News Roundup: Cataclysm Hotfixes, Heroics, Project Titan, Starcraft II Demo
Just the latest news from the world of Blizzard, including a small batch of Cataclysm hotfixes, veiled details about Blizzard's new MMO, tips on surviving Heroics and more!
Notable Cataclysm hotfixes include:
The search radius to find an Archaeology node from the Archaeology ability Survey has been increased. This will result in fewer searches needed while in the "green" range of surveying.
Chakra is no longer consumed by a Prayer of Mending bounce.
Several shirts have been corrected so they no longer cause a player's item level to increase. They are item level 1.
In addition, another, undocumented hotfix was recently applied which will make it so that players without an appropriate crafting profession of 425 or higher will no longer be able to 'Need' roll on
Globo del Caos
! This should be a welcome change for any users with the profession, however I still say that making them BOP was silly in the first place. But meh, we're probably just a few patches away from a change on that - and by then, it won't matter.
A hotfix was applied about an hour ago that changes it so Chaos Orbs will only be available

Another day, another batch of hotfixes! Blizzard is clearly working around the clock to correct issues players are experiencing since Cataclysm, and I must commend 'em for it, even though they

Some noteable changes/fixes include:
Players should always be properly granted credit for completing the "Defending the Rift" quest event. (Vashj'ir)
Guild experience caps were being hit faster than expected. As a result, guild experience gained through questing has been reduced. (

The droprates on all Bind-on-Equip items in Cataclysm dungeons have been reduced.
Disenchanted green items are now giving more materials as the item levels increase. This change also ensures armor items give dust more often than essence, and that weapons give more essence than dust.

There are also a few profession-related changes, including some reduction of node density for gathering professions in specific zones, and apparently "Fishing skill gains were increasing too rapidly past 500 skill and have been adjusted." First Round of Cataclysm Hotfixes Now Live!

Many specific quest issues were addressed with this patch, so if you were experiencing any problems check to see if it's been resolved! Not too many major changes, though if you were wasting time killing the opposing faction's flight trainer instead of bothering to experience new content, Blizzard has made it a bit tougher for you.
