Battle for Azeroth Island Expeditions - NPC Faction Teams and Consumables

Players are able to queue for Island Expeditions on the Battle for Azeroth Alpha. Around the docks of each ship, players are able to view their faction's expedition teams that will appear as NPCs to the opposing faction. Yes, one of these teams does include Sneaky Pete!
Blizzard has also added vendors that sell powerful consumables for
Doblone del Marinaio
, which can be found in Island Expeditions. These consumables are very powerful and can help add utility or missing roles to your party. In a
BlizzCon 2017 interview
it was said there may be items which allow you to become a healing mage!
Expedition Teams
Players who visit the docks of their faction's capital will find six NPC expedition teams that are ready to depart on Island Expeditions. Players of the opposite faction will be competing against a randomly selected team in each Island Adventure.
The majority of these teams have a racial flavor to each of them including Trolls, Tauren, Goblins, Gnomes, Worgen, Void Elves and more! However, there are some multi-race teams including Jaina's Angels and Greenbelly's Raiders which includes the famous
Pete il Furtivo
. Since
Pete il Furtivo
is a Horde champion, that means that Alliance will encounter this famous NPC on Island Expeditions, with the Horde will likely also encounter a rogue NPC in
Lottie "Pungolo"
.
These teams do not act like normal NPCs that will either cast spells and/or run towards directly towards you to engage in melee combat. The mage characters may cast
Traslazione
to get away from you, while the rogue characters may try to engage you in stealth if you get too close. If you remember the Faction Champions encounter from
Ordalia dei Campioni
, then the NPCs will act similarly... that is if they don't catch you off guard, while you're already fighting deadly island creatures.

Island Expedition Consumables
To help you collect Azerite against the enemy faction, two NPCs on your faction's docks will sell you consumables. However, as part of the pirate theme, they do their trades in
Doblone del Marinaio
. You receive
Doblone del Marinaio
from Island Expeditions and you can trade them in to help you on future ones or on other content.
These items are powerful as on Normal mode, enemy Expedition teams have ~50k health and at the gear level that players are scaled to, players also have around ~50k health.
