This week's Mythic+ tip of the week revolves around
Plasmatore di Carne
in Necrotic Wake and their important ability

. If you watched any of the
Great Push
coverage this most recent weekend then you would have seen this mob used with great frequency. There are a lot of techniques that you can use and abuse to make this mob help you out a lot in your own Necrotic Wake runs.
Mythic+ Tips and Tricks
Setup & Requirements
Usage of
Plasmatore di Carne
and his
Lancio Mannaia
ability is something you can do in the base Necrotic Wake. There is 1 Flesh Crafter outside in the starting area. This one is very infrequently pulled as the location of this pack is not great. There are 2 Flesh Crafters located in the necropolis and these ones are infinitely more useful. Another thing that is going to be discussed and can be needed is a Priest's
Controllo Mentale
for a specific strategy.
How to Use the Cleavers
For basic
Plasmatore di Carne
management you are trying to line up the arrow from the
Lancio Mannaia
into high priority mobs in the Necropolis such as
Raccoglitore di Cadaveri
or
Opera Ricucita dei Kyrian
. If all the mobs are dead then the tank should be standing in front of the cleaver as to not to have the cleaver intersect with a different player. After you clear out the trash in the Necropolis 2

will spawn. These guys do a variety of mechanics but they also have a throw cleaver that works identically to the Flesh Crafter's cleaver. All of these can be used to speed up the time in your dungeon by a considerable amount.
Advanced Strategies and Mind Controlling
With the Flesh Crafters contributing a significant amount of damage, there are some very advanced strategies used to carry them through the Necropolis and even into the final boss.
This as I eluded to earlier requires a Priest's
Controllo Mentale
. This is mandatory to work ,as whenever you use mind control you can advance the RP of the room. Most of the time, the Necropolis trash mobs will not spawn unless all of the trash is killed. The exception to this is if a mob is Mind Controlled. As you can probably tell at this point, the most important mob to mind control is the
Plasmatore di Carne
as you can see in
this clip
.
Once you mind control, you are able to advance the packs further and even take the Flesh Crafter into multiple bosses. On top of this,
Metamorfosi
is frequently used to keep the Flesh Crafter healthy. If you kill
Chirurgo Cucicarne
, you can port up to
Nalthor il Vincolabrina
with the
Plasmatore di Carne
still alive and use the
Lancio Mannaia
s on the
Egida Glaciale
shield. This reduces group wide damage by a substantial amount.
Clips
When to Perform This Trick
The basic strategies corresponding with the Throw Cleaver are easily doable in weekly runs and highly encouraged. The priest specific strategies are very technical and difficult to pull off, yet they are very valuable when pushing high keys. If you have a priest in your group and some time on your hands, try it out though!
