Die Game Awards feiern die
Future Class of 2022
! Jedes Jahr werden 50 inspirierende Persönlichkeiten ausgewählt, die die strahlende, mutige und integrative Zukunft der Videospiele repräsentieren, um einen Raum zu schaffen, in dem aufstrebende, gleichgesinnte Menschen in der Spieleindustrie sich verbinden, wachsen und ihre Erfolge gemeinsam feiern können. Die Rollen reichen von Spieleentwicklern über Gründer bis hin zu Künstlern und mehr. In diesem Jahr sind unter anderem zwei Entwickler von Blizzard Entertainment dabei: Overwatch Narrative Designer

und Diablo Producer

Joshi Zhang - Overwatch Narrative Designer
Any
Joshi is a Chinese-Canadian narrative designer currently working on Overwatch 2 at Blizzard Entertainment. During her time in the games industry, she has taken on different projects highlighting the nuanced experiences of various minority groups. She believes that in order to properly represent diverse voices, it is important not only to research and self-educate, but to give the platform to marginalized voices so that they can speak for themselves. Joshi believes that sharing experiences through play is one of the best ways to foster empathy and understanding. She hopes that with more diverse voices entering the industry, people from all walks of life will see themselves, their communities, and their stories represented in games to be celebrated by all.
Noelle Mazurek - Diablo Producer
She/Her
Noelle Mazurek (she/her) is an Associate Game Producer at Blizzard Entertainment, where she manages the character art & tech art teams on Diablo IV. Recognized as a “Next Gen Leader” by the IGDA Foundation, she uses her unique background in game development, VR/AR, and the “serious games” subgenre to empower marginalized developers and advocate for a more inclusive industry. Prior to game production at Blizzard, Noelle was the Production Manager at non-profit Games for Change, where she led DE&I programs, managed international game jams, and built workflows for more inclusive and accessible events at the organization. At G4C, she did everything from teaching middle-school students how to make games in VR/AR, to curating a “games for good” exhibit at the Smithsonian. Noelle’s motto is that “this industry is a better place when we all are winning,” and hopes for a future where everyone has a seat at the table. Now that she has transitioned to AAA development, Noelle pays it forward by providing mentorship to students and early-career developers. Noelle received her BFA from the NYU Game Center, where she earned additional recognition and scholarships for her academic achievement. She is currently based in New York.
