PST - A New Q&A Series
If you've been watching the Weekly Marmot, you'll remember that I mentioned an upcoming Q&A-style show where I try to plow through as many of the questions you guys send in as possible. The time is finally here to unveil the first of the series. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: PST!

The Weekly Marmot - Blizzcon 2010 Wrap-up
This week I go over some of my thoughts about Blizzcon. What was cool? What wasn't so cool? What can they do to make it even better in the future?

The Weekly Marmot - Blizzcon 2010
This week is Blizzcon, so this week I talk about Blizzcon. Included is some speculation about what the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT could be, as well as a quick overview of some of the most exciting things going on both inside and outside of Blizzcon this year. With a special guest mummy!

The Weekly Marmot - Patch 4.0 Survival
In this special edition of the Weekly Marmot, I go over all the major changes happening in Patch 4.0.1, and what you'll need to do to make the transition as smooth as possible. The Yearly Marmot
It's the one year anniversary of the Weekly Marmot (well, almost)! In an extra-long extended episode, I go over my history of gaming: how I got into gaming, what games I used to play, how I got into MMOs, and how I got involved with the World of Warcraft community. It's not exactly light viewing, so fix yourself some popcorn and settle in for the
nerdiest story ever told.
And don't worry -- we'll be right back to the regular old information-filled Weekly Marmot next week, for the Patch 4.0 Survival Guide!

The Weekly Marmot - Guild Restructuring in Cataclysm
This week I answer a handful of great questions from a guy named Helbereth (aka Hellbreath) about a few of the challenges facing guilds -- both new and old -- in the transition period into 4.0 and Cataclysm. Is forming a new guild for Cataclysm a good idea? What kind of challenges will the "hardcore 10-man guild" face? How does this affect loot rules?
Also, don't forget to tune in for Episode 50 next week!

The Weekly Marmot - Thinking Like a Designer
This week, I step back a little and examine game balance from a designer's perspective. What kind of thought process do they go through when they decide to make balance changes? What
don't
they think about? And how does that differ from the ways in which players usually consider the game? How many times can my dog wander into the reflection on my poster in one episode? How ridiculously awful can a preview frame get?
Let's find out.

The Weekly Marmot - Patch 4.0 Speculation
So this week, thanks to Blizzard's timely release of the Patch 4.0 PTR, I get to talk a bunch about how this whole process is going to work based on our experiences from previous expansions. What's the difference between Patch 4.0 and Cataclysm? What kind of release timeframes can we expect? And what's the deal with "Patch 4.0.3"? These exciting questions and more will be answered (or at least have decent guesses aimed towards them) in this week's Weekly Marmot.

The Weekly Marmot - End of Expansion Raiding Options
This week, I answer a question from
Damingo, the Prairie Dog Lord
(yeaaahhhhh...) and talk a bunch about end of expansion raiding from a raider's perspective. When you really want to raid but guilds keep falling apart around you, what options do you have? Do you just give up, or is there another way?

The Weekly Marmot - End of Expansion Raiding
So this week I take a look back through my experiences with raiding in the weeks and months prior to the release of Wrath of the Lich King and The Burning Crusade to give a little insight into what exactly is happening right now that's causing so much trouble for so many guilds. Why are so many players quitting their guilds? Why are so many quitting the game entirely? And just because I'm never content to just sit around and talk about how bad things can be, I give some tips and ideas for dealing with it and making sure your guild isn't one that falls victim to the dreaded End of Expansion Blues.

If you chose option 1 or 2, you should check out this week's Marmot, where I talk about how to properly handle all the weird things that happen during beta. If you chose option 3,

In this episode, I answer a handful of the questions that you beautiful people sent in. Included are: What's happening to the five second rule? What stats are healers going to be interested in? Are there still going to be "raid healers" and "tank healers"? And how did I get so
sexy?
Okay, maybe not the last one.
Because we

This week, in part 2 of my discussion on the effects that the Cataclysm healing changes have on the game, I go over how Tanking and DPS roles will be affected. Will avoidance make a comeback? How responsible are DPS for their survivability? These questions and more will be answered in this week's show!

The Weekly Marmot - Cataclysm Zone & Quest Design
This week, I get entirely too excited about how incredibly awesome questing is in the expansion. No longer will leveling from 1-60 just be the part of the game you try to breeze through as quickly as possible so you can get into the "more interesting" quests. Don't believe me? Watch this.
Also, my wedding ring fell off in a lake.
