Hello everyone.
A couple of months ago I came here asking for advice. I received a lot of very good information and I'd really like to share my results. Hopefully seeing the original thread, along with my results, will entertain and perhaps even help others who ran into my particular problem.
This is a
link to the original thread where I asked my original question.
I've also included an image of my TSM history from when I started using TSM, untilright before I asked the original question.
And finally, I've included an image of my TSM history from just after asking the question, to present.
Some additional info. That first drastic increase was my firesale. I ditched all the mats I had been flipping; which was mostly phaedrum ore and eternal crystals. Then you see a significant dip. I used those funds to buy into crafting mats, specifically to make buff food/feasts and flasks/pots. I also had a great deal of cloth for 32 slot bags which I kept and kept buying low. Since then I've been primarily buying herbs and meat when it's low, selling the alchemy/cooking crafts, and always, always socking away the vast majority of my profits in my gbank (reason for 2 players in the graph). I did do a bit of flipping with Korthite and select SL trade goods, but by and large I stay away from it. And there you have it.
Initially had a hard time ever accruing more than a couple hundred thousand before sinking it back into another flip, and now I'm well on my way up to my guild bank gold cap. Thank you very much to those who replied on my original post.
Edit: Detail I forgot to mention. I've actually earned more than what's shown on the graph. I put 500k towards the guild I'm a member of. And I've bought several mogs, mounts, pets. Probably a somewhere around 1M I've spent rather than saved.
