Pin trading is a fun activity where players collect pins at Blizzard events and then swap them for missing ones. Some pins are very difficult to get, so people display the ones they have on a lanyard and hope they can make an exchange. This guide covers all the Blizzard pins we're aware of and where they're from.
Thank you to Blizzard for including Wowhead in the Official Pin Trading Series for 2016, and providing us with additional information and pictures to complete this guide! Big thanks to
Sas148
, and his friends, for drawing upon their collectively massive pin collections for many of the more obscure ones found here.

One of these days Blizzard will figure out that I'd throw all my money their way if they actually made Dwarf stuff. And no, the Hearthstone Innkeeper doesn't count.

Quote from the Blizzard site store:
The BlizzCon 2017 Merchy Pin will be included in each purchase made between 11/29/17 and 1/1/18. (1) BlizzCon 2017 Merchy Pin will be automatically added to your shipment and will not be seen in your cart. Standard shipping restrictions will apply. While supplies last.
Boyfriend surprised me with a Shadow plush, and it came with this pin. So if you didn't grab yours at BlizzCon, you still have a chance. I didn't get to go, so it's cool that I get something anyway.

You have the 2009 Trading Card Game Region Championships Top 32 pin, but you're missing the 2009 Miniatures Game Region Championships Top 32 pin. I will send you pictures of them, when I get home.

What happened to the other pins in the WoWHead store? (DM Rocket, Pepe rocket, Murloc head) Are they gone for good or will they be coming back?
Edit: Few things regarding the new entries to this.
"Three new event pins will debut as part of BlizzCon 2017--Arena World Championship, Hearthstone Championship, and the Mythic Dungeon Invitational." - This should read BlizzCon 2018
Under "Other BlizzCon 2018 Pins" you mentioned the pin that comes with the Jaina Hooded Shrug but did not mention the Diablo pin that comes with the Diablo Snap Front Jacket.
