I had success with my
druid
the following way:
I am going ahead and posting my cooldown list here, maybe someone will find it useful. A good advice is to try to "learn" the different waves, as it really helps to know what to expect.
I used Weak Auras to display the list on the screen so I could always have a look what was up next.
1 () - vigil
2 (AE) - tranquil
3 (2x Chomp) -
4 (2x Aqua) - kick / vigil
5 (AE) - tranquil
6 () - kick / vigil
7 (2x melee) - ironbark
8 (caster) - KICK / vigil
9 (AE) - tranquil
10 (melee) - kick / ironbark / vigil
For talents, there are some important choices:
Rank 2: Yseras Gift (Really important! Free smartheals without any mana-spending!)
Rank 3: Typhoon (THE gamewinner for you, if the nasty Flamecasters hit your party)
Rank 4: Force of Nature (Maybe also doable with
丛林之魂
, but the Trees are free and also smartheal!)
Rank 5: Bash (All mobs besides enraged melees can be bashed, it gives you a second to breathe sometimes)
Rank 6: Nature's Vigil (A little cleave-healing since the legendary won't work)
For gems: You can regem of course, but it is not really necessary. I went with my usual mastery-gems, but reforged to the first hastecap (3043). Do remember to have some spirit with you. I also used an int-flask with int-food.
Playstyle: Play VERY Mana-conserving! Never use

if you don't have the clearcast progg. You also need to cast
from time to time. Also, always heal off the "chomp"-debuff really quickly, even if it needs a Healing Touch. Frequently use the Trees, and make a little cooldown list if you have trouble timing them (see above for tips). The last tip I have for you is: Always (re-)plant the mushroom so your meeles, the meele-mage and yourself can stand in it, and use the
together with
! It really helps!

As a
restoration shaman
, I found it reasonably easy.
Learning the 10 waves is indeed the most important step to this achievement. Don't be intimidated by the 30 waves ahead of you. Once you can manage the first 10 waves, you will make rapid progress. It took me about 8 tries to work out how to handle things up to wave 11, and only 2 after that to get the achievement. But now for some real advice:
The talents are largely up to you to decide, except
, which I highly recommend. When dealing with chomp-DoTs and ae-damage on the group, this talent is in my opinion the better choice over Rushing Streams.

will run up to 40 seconds, and usually the whole group except the hunter will stand in it, if you place it right (it's almost like a real group, but at least one range-dps is 'smart' enough to move up to the ae-heal). While HR is quite expensive, extending its duration makes it a very efficient group heal without interruption. In addition I also recommend the following glyphs:

. I'll explain in a moment. I also added Healing Wave to my glyphs, but HST or Totemic Recall might be viable as well.
As for the tactics (in adddition to what is already mentioned in the excellent
proving grounds guide
):
Warrior, Rogue, Mage and Shaman (that's you), should stand in melee inside the Healing Rain. Always boost your HR with Unleash Weapon, the throughput is usually worth the GCD. At low damage you can use Lightning Bolt to keep the Rain AND Earth Shield up, while receiving a very slight mana gain and providing additional damage. And it will save you some ES-related GCDs.
Unsurprisingly you will mainly use Riptide (unglyphed for efficiency), Healing Wave, Greater Healing Wave and Healing Stream Totem as needed. Chain Heal can balance the group well, but suffers from its long cast time. Healing Surge should be avoided unless someone will die, but it will burn away your mana rapidly. Best learn to appraise when to let the HR do its work and when to heal directly.
As all shamans already know (hopefully), the class has loads of awesome cooldowns, which helps a lot in the fight. In waves 2, 5, 8 and 9 you can and will use your great healing CDs. In wave 2, 5 and 8 I dealt with a lot of damage on the group and used Healing Tide Totem, wave 9 will deal a lot of damage on the tank so

works great. Since each wave is 1 minute long, this combination will be available two more times, but make sure you have it ready for wave 9.
Besides interrupting enemies, your
will also come in very handy at least once per wave to stun all targets in melee and give you a valuable interruption from incoming damage.
And don't forget your early Mana Tide Totem: use it the first time you reach about 80% mana, usually during the 2nd or 3rd wave, then keep it on cooldown. The new Totemic Persistance talent will make handling (water-) totems a bit easier, especially when things get hectic, and they will get hectic.

As a Monk Healer :
Always use Ring Of Peace on each level. You really need Chi Brew too otherwise it will be hard to keep enough mana on long run.
You really need to understand how the waves are but what I used was this :
Wave 1 : no CD
Wave 2 : Xuen really fast (you need to keep everyone almost 100% hp in the end)
Wave 3 : They are some tunneler, you need to focus on this debuff (use CHI SPHERES for this except for warrior)
Wave 4 : Revival when 2 melee guys need to be dispelled otherwise dispell melee and heal the distant
Wave 5 : Xuen really fast too
Wave 6 : No CD
Wave 7 : Cocoon on tank during the Enrage
Wave 8 : No CD
Wave 9 : Xuen
Wave 10 : Revival + Cocoon on tank
You need to use Chi Brew on CD to win 2 mana tea. You also need to use Chi wave on the warrior on CD it heals a LOT. Ring of Peace seems op and you should try to kick some spells, it helps.
Last tip : disarm a Conqueror on enrage is recommended

Hello,
I just did this on my disc priest (reached 34 wave).
I ran out of mana drinks so I couldn’t get my mana up during the 30 wave break, I could probably go a bit higher with full mana there :<
Anyway here’s what I did:
Things to know:
1) Your gear is getting downscaled to 463. Legendary cloak
proc
doesn’t work. Legendary Meta
proc
doesn’t work. Gems, enchants and bonus from sockets don’t get downscaled.
2) You are going out of combat after 10th, 20th 30th etc wave so you can drink and restore your mana. The problem is that you have at most 15 seconds to do it after the timer for the 10th, 20th etc wave is over. So if for example you kill the last mob on 10th wave 10 seconds late you will only have 5 seconds out of combat. So just go full nuke on the last add to have more downtime.
3) The main problem I faced was lack of raw healing, mainly because of
Tunnelers
. Those annoying little creatures will put a
DoT
on the target which will only be removed if the person’s HP is higher than 90%.
Spirit Shell
is the most effective spell to counter that.
4) Minor use of
Attonement
. I only used Smite and offensive Penance on 10th, 20th etc waves (see above). Other than that, casted Solace on cooldown to stack Evangelism. There’s a spell somewhere in my spellbook called
Heal
! It’s so cheap! I spammed it when there was low incoming damage.
5) You will get some mobs called
Conquerors
(5th and 10th wave). They will
enrage
and destroy your tank (he will use Shield Wall if available). I used Pain Suppression and Barrier to keep him alive.
6) You will get full buffed when you start and you can get a Healthstone from a lock NPC.
Stats:
I reforged everything according to Spirit > Mastery > Critical > Haste. I didn't change my gems (intellect, critical and spirit). I sould probably regem to Intellect, spirit and mastery. I didn't replace my
legendary Meta
. With the gear downscale, mastery seems more reliable.
I used

spirit flask
.
Talents:

: You can fear the little adds and save your tank from taking some hits.

: Used Inner Fire the whole time. There’s a lot of magic damage going around during the fight.

I wasted a full weekend on this. I raged, I laughed, I got sad. At some point I got so desperate in the middle of a try, so I just stood up, left the room and went to wash the dishes for no reason. Overall it was a fun and challenging thing to do. I think I will go back eventually with proper enchants, gems, mana drinks etc to push for a higher wave. Once you get the hang of it with the wave rotation and managing your cooldowns, it's quite simple yet realy hard to execute.

Hello friends! I just wanted to point out that this title, along with the Tank and DPS versions are indeed account-wide which means you're able to wear a title on a character incapable of having a certain role spec. In this case, you're able to wear your Proven Healer title on a Rogue, for example. Have fun playing around with this :)

I wish I could upvote ElZombos comment more than once , thank you sir those tips really helped me out
Now I wish I could brag and say I got the title in a few trials but the truth is I lost track of how many times I failed at it ,I used to try 3 may be four times a day till I got through
I thought I knew how to heal and knew the shaman class , boy was I wrong these grounds really showed me the error of my ways
I'll add a few tips that might help those like me struggling through this one
First : scrolls DO work ( cata scrolls being the highest ) I grabbed a few stamina scrolls from the ah and buffed the tank , 150 stamina isn't much but if you wish to try them grab a few scrolls and try to buff the rest of the party
Second : grenades DO work ( my shaman is an engineer so I made a few stacks of cobalt bombs and used them as a spell stopper ) I guess the land sharks might work as well
Both of those might be hot fixed soon
Glyphs : as elzombo said TC is a must , I also went with eternal earth and healing wave , however cleansing waters is decent too , getting an extra heal on dispel isn't half bad
Talents : primal elementalist seems to be best for most players but for me unleashed fury did the trick , getting a heavy boost on your greater healing wave will be invaluable in getting rid of the chomp debuff
A few pointers : always I mean ALWAYS keep earth shield on the tank (duh …) I know most players do but during the waves mana will be tight and earth shield is a bit pricy still ALWAYS refresh it no matter how dire the mana drain is (the increased effectiveness of your healing spells on the tank will make a difference )
Use healing stream (glyphed or not ) on cooldown (duH..) I know but still sometimes you might forget it
Try to time you wind shear correctly for the hive singers , with practice you will know when the other npcs use their interrupts and when you should use yours ( it really hurts to blow wind shear only to see that kick or counterspell beat you to it )
spiritwalker's grace: I found great use for this when getting blown away by the water debuff healing the tank while moving back into the healing rain ( during phase 4 two debuffs will go off so odds are you are going to get hit by one )
Capacitor totem : you might neglect this .. DON'T , its wonderful for the hive singers as an extra sonic blast stopper and a god send on wave 8 ( place it next to the flame callers and if you can wind shear the one standing outside its range
Spirit link totem : now most know how this baby works BUT keep in mind the tank might move away from it to pick up another mob so make sure not to waste it and plant it when the tanks stops moving
Health stones : always remember to pick them up at the start they make a huge difference (one wave I got a double chomp on me I just popped one of the stones after a heal and got rid of the debuff )
Mana breaks : you drop out of combat as soon as wave 10/20 ends but sadly that isn't always the case, sometimes you take a few seconds to exit combat so I recommend using wave 10 as a regen phase .. just spam LB, you dps the mob faster and if god forbid you don't drop out of combat soon enough you still got a nice chunk of mana back
Trinket usage : I used contemplation of Chi-ji as one of my trinkets , the trinket will be up for use almost every round so make good use of it .
Last would be the NPCs : you will get the hang of their motion patterns soon enough however the mage sometimes doesn't move as expected ( she sometimes stands next to the hunter, other times she comes and stands in the healing rain ) the problem is when both sooli (hunter) and the mage are standing next to each other and one gets the water debuff , it adds more chaos to the wave
Wish you all the best of luck in getting this title and hopefully these posts would yield more proven healers and less broken furniture ^^ ( I nearly broke a lamp when I wiped at wave 27 )

Here are a few tips I picked up on my (long) journey to figuring this out on my resto druid. Maybe some of it translates to other classes:
Rounds 2, 5, and 9 have a hive singer. It's really helpful to interrupt his AOE nuke because damage avoided is damage that doesn't require mana to heal up. I hotkeyed this simple macro to target him right away "/tar Large Illusionary Hive-Singer" and then used Mighty Bash, Intimidating Roar (Symbiosis your tank), and Typhoon to interrupt if my crew didn't get it done halfway through his cast
Round 8: I moved with about 6 seconds left in Round 7 such that the group of mages in 8 would spawn between me and my crew. Then, I Typhoon'd them towards my group and used Mighty Bash on one as I ran back to the group
On round 4, you will often have two dispels at once. It's crucial to prioritize who you dispel. I never dispelled myself, because I could run away from the group and use my soul well stone + Ysera's Gift to heal up. Rogue and tanks are top priority
I took Mark of the Wild because the passive INT bonus was useful and I found it necessary to pop that in rounds 10/20/30/etc on the final mob, because your DPS will not get him down in time without your help
Grabbing the Restorative Amber from the Klaxxi and using that after round 10/20/30 allowed me to recharge to full health/mana, assuming you helped DPS in round 10
Popping a couple Soul of the Forests a few seconds into each round helped a lot
Jumping on Chomps immediately, especially the hunter and tank, was crucial. Nature Swiftness + Healing Touch + Swiftmend ASAP if it's on your tank or the hunter (who will not be in your 'shroom Efflorescence).

Hey! Resto druid here. I just received my title, and want to give advice that can apply to all classes.
First of all - this is the most important - be patient, and willing to fail. This title is not the typical time-consuming WoW grind: it is about learning, adapting, failing, learning more, progressing, failing,
going back
, and at some point - succeeding. Most of us are unable to master this within 10 tries like a gifted previous poster. (/jealous!)
To use an analogy, learning the fight is like learning anatomy: at first it seems far too hectic to wrap your mind around. Then you learn the basic layout, and make some sense of the situation; then you learn how everything works in detail; and finally you can rattle off the parts without glancing at your notes. That's when you'll get your title.
Down to what matters:
1) Make simple macros. I can't tell you how much this saved my @ss! For your interrupt, make a stopcasting macro:
/stopcasting
/cast Mighty Bash (replace with your class's interrupt)
Since Rippers are the only mob that can be CC'd, make a macro that targets them specifically and casts your favorite CC:
/target Large Illusionary Ripper
/cast Cyclone (replace with your class's CC)
If you have a movable AoE that needs to be on the melee party, have it target the tank.
/target Oto
/cast Force of Nature (replace with your class's heal)
Tie your trinkets, or engineering gloves, to your other short-CD abilities. If you are an engineer, please note that you cannot use gloves and trinkets at the same time. As a resto druid, I tied my spirit-regen trinkets to innervate and used them all at once. I tied my engineering gloves to Ironbark, which also has a 1-minute CD:

/cast Ironbark (replace with your class's CD)
Create a macro to target and focus the Tunnelers so you see in advance who they are targeting and start a heal before the Chomp even lands. Hit this macro at the beginning of every Tunneler wave.
/target Large Illusionary Tunneler

Interrupts trump heals always, except for when everyone is almost dead anyway.
Don't forget this! As you progress you will become skilled enough to handle waves 1 - 15 with a couple interrupts and solid healing, but beyond that you
will
fail if you do not focus on interrupting over reactive healing. Read your strategies and practice interrupting as much as possible during rounds 1 - 10 so you have it down pat, even though it's not strictly necessary to interrupt so much during those waves. Believe me, it'll become crucial during all latter waves!
The two interruptable mobs which do enormous damage are Hive Singers and Flamecallers (there are only a few instances where you may have time to interrupt Tunnelers, so I do not prioritize them except to have them on focus), and I
promise
you, if your party is at half health and a Singer is about to cast - you should interrupt first, then heal, in order to finish that round.
3) DPS. You'll need to do some, ideally every round, but
especially
at the end of waves 4 and 8. Figure out how to make it happen even if you are not healing at the same time, because if the mobs do not die quickly, you'll be in for a world of hurt on waves 5 and 9. I personally DPS'd at around the 20 - 10 second mark every wave, healed everyone up from 10 - 5 seconds, then and ran to my next position for the upcoming wave.
4) Grouping. Your party AoE's when 3 or more mobs are grouped together, and since encouraging DPS is absolutely vital, find a way to get each wave grouped together. Then AoE stun them, if you can. ;) This is the most important during Wave 8, if your class can manage it.
5) Read several different strategies written by your class and try out each way to figure out which suits your playstyle best. By doing this, you'll also be learning the waves.
6) Do what I did and write down shorthand notes from your favorite strategy. At the end of every wave, I was panicky - "what's coming next again? $%$!" - and failed repeatedly until I had the notes in front of me. I still failed after for awhile, but it got much easier very quickly.
7) On the panicky note: you'll likely feel stressed/anxious/excited/whatever during the first 30 rounds you attempt this until you get used to what's going on. Know this: it will pass, and the very best way to get this achievement is to be calm and focused throughout. That brings me to the next small piece of advice:
8) Music. I advise that you listen to something that doesn't have distracting lyrics; i.e., instrumental/techno/dubstep/classical. It will put you in a steady mood and keep you focused. I personally listened to Orbital radio on Pandora, but YMMV.
9) I must repeat - patience, willingness to fail, willingness to laugh at yourself, and willingness to return. Then rinse and repeat.
10) I copied most of my strategy from Huppi, a resto druid who reached 109 waves and was generous enough to write an extensive guide. The mid-beginning of her guide ("The Most Important Things You Need to Know") applies to all classes, however, and is well worth a read:

That's about it for general advice.
Engineer-specific:
- I'll repeat myself: tie your glove skill to another CD so you don't forget to use it! The boost to DPS or your primary stat is immeasurably important.
- Before rounds 4 and 9, pop your Cardboard Assassin. It'll buy you 1 second of time, roughly, which you'll find is a helluva lot in Proving Grounds.
Druid-specific:
- Do
not
DPS using mana! Always pop catform instead. At the time of this writing, shifting into catform costs 2200 mana - as opposed to over twice at much for each spell you'd cast. Plus, catform damage is comparatively OP. Make sure that your regular spells are tied to the cat bar so you can pop a heal from catform instead of wasting a GCD by first shifting out. It feels "wrong" at first, but you'll soon learn that you are capable of healing just as fast from cat form. I took every spare second I got to shift into cat, build combo points, and stun.
- Make use of NV + Rejuv's + Genesis when Tranq is on CD!
- Glyph of Fae Silence is a
must
. Yes, it is awkward to shift and silence (for those of us who never PvP, that is) and you'll want to try other more "comfortable" methods. Don't. Try it, fail, and try again until you're used to it. Macro your faerie fire to the Hive Singers:
/target Large Illusionary Hive Singer
/cast Faerie Fire
Ensuring previously that your heals are hooked to your bear bar, pop a heal from bearform so you get out of it without wasting a GCD by first shifting. When a Hive Singer is not up and you need to Faerie Fire a different mob - notably, wave 8 - the Hive-targeting macro will not interfere with this.
- I can't stress this enough: Force of Nature and Nature's Vigil. Popping NV then spamming single-cast heals on everyone at the beginning of every other fight (starting at wave 2) will add both DPS and heals. Force of Nature gives you free healing, and as a huge bonus, the Tunnelers and Flamecallers will randomly target your trees instead of the party.
The title is for those who are willing to learn, and it will
never
lose its significance thanks to gear scaling. If you want to be known as resourceful and hardworking, in addition to being a kickass healer - and gain a solid foothold into some of the best raiding/PvP guilds - this title is for you. Earn it!

Holy Paladin,
Like everyone has said and it’s true. You have to get familiar with the waves 1-10. Wave 2, 5 & 9 being the hardest ones to heal. Keeping your cool downs ready for each one of those. Once you have that down it is just rinse and repeat. I had all the gear I could that would give me the most gem slots. I did not reforge anything. Gear was mostly to Spirit and Mastery, with Crit and Haste being lesser wanted. When I wasn’t casting or trying to keep mana, I melee attack there target to help. I ran low on mana twice but never out.
Gems: Red&Colorless: Brilliant Primordial Ruby. Yellow: Artful Vermilion Onyx. Blue: Purified Imperial Amethyst. Primal: Burning Primal Diamond.
Talents: Speed of Light, Fist of Justice, Eternal Flame, Unbreakable Spirit, Divine Purpose, Light’s Hammer
Glyph: Hand of Sacrifice, Divine Plea, Blinding Light
Trinkets: Spirits of the Sun & Contemplation of Chi-Ji (Spirit based trinkets that would be activate the longest)
Flask: Flask of the Warm Sun. Food: Braised Turtle Food.
Wave 1: Single Heal (don’t waste any buffs or stuns here)
Wave 2: Run over to the spawn point before they spawn. War Stomp, Blinding Light, Light’s Hammer, Fist of Justice Hive Singer, Hand of Sacrifice Oto, Guardian of Ancient Kings. Keep healing Oto during the whole time. This combo was perfect for me keeping up with all the damage easy.
Wave 3: 2 Tunnelers meaning 2 chomps so you have to be quick on your heals to prevent them from over coming your team. Single target heals on this one worked best.
Wave 4: Fist of Justice one Aqualyte at the start trying to separate the aqua bombs a little. 2 Aqualytes so of course dispel melee aqua bombs first. If aqua bomb was on me I just Divine Shield it away.
Wave 5: Fist of Justice Hive Singer first, wait for the Conqueror to enrage then Hand of Sacrifice Oto & Guardian of Ancient King. By that time the sneaky Tunneler should have spawned & chomped. DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE DELAYED SPAWN TUNNELER!
Wave 6: Run over to the spawn point before they spawn, War Stomp, Blinding Light, Fist of Justice the Flamecaller, Watch for Chomp and buff if needed.
Wave 7: Fist of Justice Hive Singer first, wait for the Conquerors to enrage then Hand of Sacrifice Oto.
Wave 8, Run over to the spawn point before they spawn, War Stomp, Blinding Light, Fist of Justice the furthest Flamecaller, Devotion Aura. Single target heal, you have to be quick and don’t let them get low health.
Wave 9: Guardian of Ancient King, Fist of Justice Hive Singer as soon as you can (Don’t use Hand of Sacrifice on this wave) and HEAL YOUR TAIL OFF AT THE START!
Wave 10: Wait for the Conqueror to enrage then Hand of Sacrifice Oto.
Repeat.
Used Light’s Hammer whenever the party or enemy are group together. I mainly used Holy Shock, Eternal Flame and Holy Light as my primary heals. Only used others if I had to big heal quickly. Those 3 will keep you from running out of mana. I popped Avenging Wrath or Divine Favor only when I needed a little help.

Did it in a few tries as a
resto druid
. I tried doing it the "right way", using stuns, silences, knockbacks... but it was just too much stuff, too many cds, etc, and I never got to wave 20.
So what was left for me was doing the obvious:

it by just simply healing MY WAY. DO NOT take the advice of others or use guides. If you are having difficulty and are functioning under healing advice - leave PG and clear your head for a while. Healing Advice will devastate you.
Yes I am mad at myself can you tell? I have been raid healing for almost a full decade, I need healing advice on THIS? What an idiot I am! I twisted myself into 19 people and none of them looked like me. A lot of healers are killing themselves on this for the same reason and it prompted me to write this post.
Tanking is a Job, DPS is a science, and healing is an Art, take that literally, you cannot paint like another artist. You are your own artists. At about attempt 6 I started to read more guides and watch videos, now I can say this, NOT ONE guide agrees with the next, because each guide is the ART of THAT healer.
Do NOT over-think it.
MUST: Do not take Healing advice. I do not mention one spell cast or how to handle any wave in this post.
MUST: Learn gear scaling, including gemming etc.
Learn the waves and what they can do. You will know how to handle them on your own, not with advice from others. Again, healing advice can devastate you.
EDIT: I should also mention that what wave is hard for one healer is not for the next, again, not everyone agreed with each other. I can say for myself that “the most difficult wave EVER”, was cake for me. Yet one of the easy waves was hard, why? My art was developed and designed to handle those wave styles, yet not the others. We develop our art differently.
Learn your classes interrupts/stuns – all of them as you will be using them like you never have before (you will become a better raid utility from this, amazing what it has done for me)
NOTE: With that being said it is
my option
that this helps as it mitigates a lot of damage but I have watched videos of players on wave 30 who never used one interrupt. I don't know how, but that is their art.
Change your interface to have quick easy access to the most important spells for PG only.
After wave 10, it just repeats, it's not that much harder, don't psych yourself out. You are healing a dungeon, that's all, keep that in your head.
Remember you are going for 30, anything more is a bonus. The only time you will need to change healing from your natural healing is when you are trying for way above 30.
Restorative Amber from the Klaxxi is a great help.

It is simple and It works very well in PG. What it does is run over every caster possible always stopping on the most dangerous. In other words, if Small Illusionary Flamecaller exists It will target him, but the macro continues to run so if Large Illusionary Hive-Singer exists, that will be targeted as that is a later target command.
I use grid, I added a Clique to cast my interrupts so I never have to move my mouse off of grid for this often needed task. This Macro, in Clique or on a button will stop your current cast such as a heal and then cast your interrupt. Replace Wind Shear with your own class interrupt.

Use this Weak Aura, you can move the red glow near the enemy cast bar or name plate. It will pop the glow and play a ping sound when the target has an interruptible spell cast AND your interrupt is not on cooldown. I used this before PG but it became invaluable in PG.

To change this Weak Aura for your class:
"Load" tab: Check the "Player Class" check box and select your class from the drop down. Check the "Talent Specialization" check box and select your specialization.
"Trigger" tab: Under "Choose trigger" (trigger 1 applies to all classes it is saying that the
target is casting
and the
cast is interruptable
) Select "Trigger 2", this trigger is for your class enter your class's interrupt spell. The net result is you get notice when the target is
casting an interruptable spell
and
your interrupt spell is ready to use.
If you have more than one interrupt you are monitoring you can right click this weak aura in the list and click duplicate and change it as needed for that secondary spell. You may end up with overlapping notices so I would change audible and visual warning under the "Action" Tab.
Healing Cooldowns

Some people will say to use cool downs on set waves as those waves are the most difficult. I personally took this advice many times. It was not until I just healed that everything went well, as a healer you know when YOU are behind and you know when you need to step it up because you blew a cool down

and you are well prepared for the waves and fight ahead. We as healers adjust, we are the players that write poetry under pressure. There is also a certain amount of RNG in there, for me I may have got every interrupt possible, or crit many times over and over, and that wave became easy. Again, that is me, not you, healers are artists, feel it!

Finally completed this on my resto shammy after perhaps ~20 attempts.
I looked at numerous guides and scrawled notes across the desk to work out the best strategy. I trialed different glyphs and talents and in the end used only what I felt suited me. I got the achievement not by following any strategy or guide at all, but by turning my headphones up and... just healing.
For those of you still trying, the best advice I can give is to stay positive and simply heal.
That's not to say researching doesn't help, the ideas others give are good, and this is why I'll happily share the talent/glyph setup I used in case it suits your play style as well --
Talents:
Stone Bulwark Totem (useful to soak chomps and the bombs)
Windwalk Totem (sadly this tier has no use in here)
Call of the Elements (useful to double stun waves that give you too much trouble :) )
Elemental Mastery (combined with telluric currents ensured I stayed between 5-30% for the later waves)
Rushing Streams (Conductivity got me to wave 24, so it could be a possibility for others. Ancestral guidance was also extremely useful for chomp waves)
Unleashed Fury (I got quite high with Primal Elementalist but the extra 50% heal really helped when the tank was taking a beating)
Glyphs:
Glyph of Healing Stream Totem (interchangeable depending on your play style but I found it helped out a bit when the DPS stood in the fire (Gee, sounds like real raiding... :D)
Glyph of Telluric Currents (I don't think I've seen a guide that hasn't had this glyph, basically essential)
Glyph of Healing Wave (free heals!)
A few minor tips --
1. With the above setup I was basically able to tank heal most of the time, throwing out a riptide for myself or the hunter every now and again. I barely had to heal myself or the hunter at all which helped immensely with mana conservation.
2. Restorative Amber (from the Klaxxi) I found was essential in ensuring at each interval of 10 waves I was 100% mana.
3. Many guides encourage Totemic Recall as your 3rd glyph however I found it was an extra button to push when I needed to heal. Spamming Telluric currents on the mobs instead gave me back mana and helped the DPS ensure the mobs were dead before the next wave spawned in. I would suggest trying both with and without the glyph to see how you go.
4. I had a 2nd set of gear for this challenge. Pretty much any item with extra sockets and all of my gems were 160 int. Not to say it can't be done without it, but it sure made things smoother. :)

How to restore mana during the Endless Trial:
At the end of each 10 waves, you get a 15 second timer. At that point, there should be only one mob left at low HP when the time starts ticking down, or the mob may be dead at this point for you. I recommend buying

Holy Paladin for WoD,
This is no change from MoP to WoD for the endless healer waves. Again you need to get familiar with the waves 1-10. Wave 2, 5 & 9 being the hardest ones to heal. We only have one cool down now Avenging Wrath so only pop it during those waves. Once you have the waves memorized it’s just rinse and repeat. I went in with an ilvl of 645. Lowest gear ilvl I had was 630. Gear is not scaled down while in the Proving Ground like it was back in MoP.
Gems: Only had one gem slot and I used Haste Taladite.
Enchantments: Used Breath of Haste on cloak, both rings and Gift of Haste on Neck.
Talents: Speed of Light, Repentance, Eternal Flame, Unbreakable Spirit, Divine Purpose, Light’s Hammer, Saved by the Light
Glyphs: Hand of Sacrifice, Flash of Light, Avenging Wrath
Trinkets: Crystalline Blood Drop (with gem slot) & Leaf of the Ancient Protectors (Warforged)
Flask: Draenic Intellect Flask. Food: Lukewarm Yak Roast Broth (what you can buy inside the PG)
Wave 1: Single Heal
Wave 2: Run over to the spawn point before they spawn and immediately War Stomp, Light’s Hammer, Hammer of Justice the Hive Singer, Hand of Sacrifice Oto, Avenging Wrath. Keep healing Oto during the whole time. This combo was perfect for me to keep up with all the damage easy.
Wave 3: 2 Tunnelers meaning 2 chomps so you have to be quick on your heals to prevent them from over coming your team. Single target heals on this one worked best.
Wave 4: I Hammer of Justice one Aqualyte at the start to try to separate the aqua bombs a little. 2 Aqualytes so of course dispel melee aqua bombs first. If aqua bomb was on me I just Divine Shield it away.
Wave 5: Hammer of Justice Hive Singer at start, wait for the Conqueror to enrage then Hand of Sacrifice Oto & Avenging Wrath. By that time the sneaky Tunneler should have spawned & chomped. DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE DELAYED SPAWN TUNNELER!
Wave 6: Run over the spawn point before they spawn, War Stomp, Hammer of Justice the Flamecaller, Watch for Chomp. I used Lay on Hands on Oto every time on this wave to help with all the damage output that this wave brings. Knowing I’m going to use Lay on Hands I was able to focus more on the team.
Wave 7: Hammer of Justice Hive Singer first, wait for the Conquerors to enrage then Hand of Sacrifice Oto.
Wave 8, Run over to the spawn point before they spawn, War Stomp, Hammer of Justice the furthest Flamecaller, Devotion Aura. Single target heal, you have to be quick and don’t let them get low health.
Wave 9: Avenging Wrath, Hammer of Justice Hive Singer as soon as you can (Don’t use Hand of Sacrifice on this wave) and HEAL YOUR TAIL OFF AT THE START!
Wave 10: Wait for the Conqueror to enrage then Hand of Sacrifice Oto.
Repeat.
Used Light’s Hammer whenever the party or enemy are group together. I mainly used Holy Shock, Eternal Flame and Holy Light as my primary heals. Only used others if I had to big heal quickly. On wave 26-29 I started each wave at 19% mana and ran out by the end but was able to maintain the whole time.

Just completed this on my Resto Shaman on my third attempt.
Got to wave 43.
The most important thing is learning the waves and what to expect, also I found that you shouldn't be scared to use CDs, because they will only be down for a wave or two at most, although I tried to avoid using them unless absolutely necessary.
However, in my attempt which got to wave 43, I think I only used CD's on a wave a couple of times where I thought I would need them. Most of the time I used it when something went wrong, i.e. RNG got me bad.

With Legion this has became pretty easy to get now. With the bonus of your artifact and any legendaries you may acquire it becomes cakewalk. I also used Cocoon of Enforced Solitude between mobs. Stayed roughly between 50-80% mana at all times...just stopped after the 40th pull because I was tired, but you could literally go on and on for awhile.

Today, I finally received the title "Proven Healer" on my Holy Paladin, Lindarion on the realm Mok'Nathal. I will admit that this was no easy feat for me. I have been working on Proving Grounds for close to 8 months. Bronze was difficult at first. I was proud when I made Silver. And Gold was the bomb! But, oh boy! Endless Healer was a magnitudes harder than Gold for me. I thought that it was probably just about impossible for a Holy Paladin to get the title. After all, we excel at tank healing but group and raid healing is not our sweet spot. Nevertheless, quite obviously, it can be done. I failed hundreds of times, but the levels where I failed kept slowly creeping up to the 30 level mark. I tweaked my talents multiple times, and tried multiple iterations of item levels and primary and secondary stat numbers on Lindarion. Eventually it came together.
For those Holy Paladins who want to get the title, I'll share with you exactly what I did. I was on Legion 7.3.0. I had an item level of 879 when I got the title. Proving grounds scales its difficulty based upon average item level and many people believe the best item level is about 614. I did not find this to be true.
I tweaked my statistics till I got a critical strike percentage of 48% and a haste percentage of 15%. My Mastery was at 25% and my Intellect was at 38,000. I used two Legendaries: Ilterendi, Crown Jewel of Silvermoon, and Uther's Guard.
My talents were Bestow Faith, Unbreakable Spirit, Repentance, Aura of Mercy, Holy Avenger, Sanctified Wrath, and Beacon of Faith.
I used the following addons: Healbot , Deadly Boss Mods, Enemy Grid, and Weak Auras 2. Each primary cooldown I had was linked to a different aural signal so that I didn’t have to move my eyes to the spell bar just to know that a particular spell was available to me. The number of aural signals as a result was quite cacophonous – but very informative! It was critical that your addon’s showed the aquabomb debuff so that you could dispel it immediately
I tried mixing healing and meleeing since the Paladin is supposed to be a melee healer. I found that healing and interrupting was the best use of my global cooldowns. It was very easy to run out of mana, especially after level 18 or so. I had to know when I could spend my mana and when I had to hold back. Basically level 2,4,5, 7, and 9 were the times to pour it on. Likewise levels 12, 14, 15, 17, 19 and 22,24, 25, 27, and 29.
I always healed the tank (Oto) preferentially to everyone else. I made sure that if Oto was at 80% he got a heal. The reason was that Oto was a terrible tank, and would face plant himself if you allowed him to lose health for any reason. It was important to fully understand levels 4, 14, and 24 because this was where you got your double aquabombs. Since you had only one Cleanse every 8 seconds you had to choose from whom you would dispel the aquabomb. I would try to wait till both aquabombs were up and preferentially dispel Oto first, then Ki the Assassin, followed by Kavan the Arcanist. I would not dispel Sooli the Survivalist because he stood so far away from the other characters. If I chose incorrectly and an aquabomb went off close to Oto, then he would likely die immediately or soon after. So the choice of whom you chose to dispel the aquabomb was critical. When only one Illusionary Aqualyte was up and therefore no more double aquabombs could be delivered then and only then would I would dispel Sooli.
I would use Avenging wrath on levels 2, 5, 7, and 9 and of course 12, 15,17, and 19 and 22, 25, 27, and 29. I would use Aura Mastery (my Aura being Aura of Mercy) at levels 2, 5, and 9 and 12, 15, 19, 22, 25, and 29.
I found that I would use all the other spells I had completely situationally depending on what spell was off cooldown and what was needed. As I said before, all my spells had aural warnings courtesy of Weak Auras so that I needed only to hear a spell come off cooldown before using it.

This is how I as a
holy Paladin
got the title.
Firstly, first attempt I ever did on this was yesterday in patch 7.3 and today I got the title. The reason why I am so late to the party is my wow-break since early MoP until Legion (patch 7.2.5). And I promise you that I managed this within 10 attempts using the following setup. The proving ground is set up in such a way that it will hone your skills into becoming a better healer and utilize all spells you have available to you.
Things I always struggled with is that I want to keep cooldowns around "just in case", which is a mindset that I myself had to work with in this proving ground. Remember, cooldowns and skills are around to be used as much as possible! Remember though to try and spread them out so that you always have what you need available.

Things to do before going into the proving grounds:
- Ensure that the debuff
Chomp
show up on your party frame - I for example use the addon Grid and added it separately.
- Ensure that you see magical debuffs (
Aqua bomb
) as you need to cleanse your party members.
- Make a "stun priority"-macro (see below).
- Buy food as you can eat and drink between wave 10 and 11 as well as between 20 and 21 for approximately 10 seconds.
Although you have to survive 30 waves, they are structured so that you have 10 waves that repeat themselves over and over, with the only difference that the mobs get increasingly more and more damage. So wave 1-10 contain same adds and same structure as 11-20 ans 21-30 and so on. That means as long as you have gotten a grasp over what will come next, you are able to better plan ahead on how to use your cooldowns. The way I did it took me to wave 34 (failing on 35) before I got distracted and ending my attempt. The way I structured my run was also "only" to push past wave 30, so my plan was not to to go on indefinitely.

10 seconds of drinking (so I hope you bought the food from the vendor before starting), and then repeat Wave 1-10.
Always precast Bestow Faith on Oto (the tank) just before he runs into the mobs. You should not be needing any cd's on wave 1, but on every wave you should
stun
a mob to negate extra damage on the party. The rogue and mage stun/kick periodically but is a bit unreliable. Try either stunning the mobs before the rouge and mage does, but otherwise try to stun after their stuns have ended to maximize the damage mitigation. Use the following stun macro:

/tar Large Illusionary Tunneler
/cast Hammer of Justice
Always use Avenging wrath at the time wave 2,4,6,8 and 10 spawns. That will mean you have it available again at the start of every second wave.
Cast Hand of sacrifice (HoS) to negate damage on the tank, as you will notice he takes spike damage and you might find yourself spam healing him to ensure his survival on certain waves (Conquerors that enrages) and even then you might not see his health go up, so REALLY, use HoS.
Prioritize dispelling the Aqua bomb in the following order to avoid as much party damage as possible:
1. Warrior (tank)
2. Rogue (melee)
3. Mage (sometimes melee)
4. Hunter (always alone)
5. Yourself (you can move away from everyone)
In some waves you will have 2 mobs casting Aqua Bomb, and with cleanse on a 8 second cooldown, you will find yourself having to prioritize.
When a character get the debuff chomp, cast blessing of protection on it to remove the debuff (do not do that on the tank, I did at wave 25, you WILL have a bad time starting all over). This might give you the extra time needed to heal the tank instead of the party. You can also cast
Divine Shield
on yourself if you get the Chomp debuff and save BoP for someone else. Use Aura mastery and/or Tyr's Deliverance as soon as the group taken aoe damage. Try standing close in melee both because of your passive
Mastery: Lightbringer
, but also to be able to throw in some dps. Use
Lay on Hands
whenever needed.
I found wave 2, 5 and 9 to be the hardest and most healing intensive, so if you have spare cooldowns, those might be good waves to use them on. I thought of this as healing a dungeon or a raid and just focused on healing "my way". Just as a raid or dungeon, learn the fight, know what to expect from each wave and dominate. Do your best and get that title! :)

Just got this first attempt on my MW. Honestly it’s not terribly hard, the hardest part is not burning through your mana. Here are a couple tips that might help ya:
1: If you can stun, interrupt or knock back etc. do it on the guys that cast aoe after your npc gets the first interupt.
2. After your group gets hit with that AoE don’t go crazy trying to heal them all up, do it efficiently. They can all get hit by it again without dying so be conservative with your mana.
3. If you get the dot that blows up (looks like a bubble) don’t ever cleanse it off yourself. Many times there’ll be a 2nd one coming and while you know to get away from the group, the NPCs don’t.
4. This one is kind of monk specific, but when the guys that channel and put fire all over the ground show up, ring of peace does wonders. Throw that down and if you knock all of them away they won’t try to cast it again, so you pretty much get that whole round free so you can regen some mana.

My titles is gone as of prepatch? I had all 3 and now have none. Maybe they are lvl gated but that would be stupid as hell.

it's a walk in the park for holy priest with Flash Concentration.
Try to refresh FC buff as late as possible to conserve mana. I used Arcane Torrent on cooldown and used symbol twice, that's about it.
Didnt eat food for regen, didn't use any pots (i forgot lol)
Key is to utilise the big cds. use Divine Hymn and circle of healing as much as possible against group dmg, use chastice and fear to help minimise dmg, if possible, utilise all 3 holy words with resonant words for heal...
it's not hard, it's just about using all skills in the toolbox effectively.
I ended with 80% mana after 30 waves

A comment from a more modern era... 2024 end of Dragonflight... yes, you can STILL get this achievement... though I will admit I took advantage of the Pandaria: Remix event (if you read this while event is still current, YES, you can get this on your Remix character)... if you are reading this post-Remix, then I guess oh well, you missed out!
If you're any bit confused about how to get the title, go to the Proving Grounds (NPC to enter is in the Temple of the White Tiger in Kun-Lai Summit), if you're on a toon that hasn't done any proving grounds you'll have the options of DPS Bronze, Tank Bronze or Healing Bronze... obviously for this, take Healing Bronze... once that is completed, it unlocks Healing Silver... which unlocks Healing Gold, which unlocks Healing Endless. Once you have that unlocked, just complete 30 waves (I completed 31 waves just to be sure) then either let it fail or terminate it by talking to the NPC to concede... make sure you COMPLETED at least 30 waves before you end it. You wont get a notice it's completed until AFTER you end the scenario.
This was SUPER easy in Remix: Pandaria... never even once broke a sweat... I did use a fully upgraded 476 toon, not sure if it scaled in Remix or not (like if I took a 346 toon would it be just as easy?)... also, tinkers, metas and cogwheels were disabled, not that I seemed to need any of them, it was incredibly easy, and I just used a Holy Priest (who is "supposed" to be bad at Proving Grounds according to other comments). Also, in case anybody is wondering, yes the title is account-bound and can immediately be used on any of your alts even if they never did proving grounds.
