For those looking here, because they cannot find the cache, do not worry. It is inside the mechs, just go inside it, zoom in and loot it.
This was the case for me a few times.

Not going to tell y'all how many times I've killed this jerk without knowing this was there. They trick you by having the mech itself also lootable for some bolts and nonsense!
