Anveena Teague is the physical manifestation of the Sunwell's remaining energies that were not defiled when Arthas used the Sunwell to resurrect Kel'Thuzad into a lich. Her form (that of a human girl) was created by the red dragon Korialstrasz. One of her protectors is the blue dragon Kalecgos. She is responsible for the apparent death of Dar'Khan Drathir, who facilitated the Sunwell's decimation, and ironically, Anveena's existence.

She may be found in Sunwell Plateau...

I realy liked the sunwell trilogy too ,and for what-to sacrifice herself in the end...T.T

Blizz ruins the end up of an otherwise enjoyable series with this unessasary segment. They could have at least graced her with a custom model.

As almost everyone here, it sucks that Anveena dies. Blizzard also could have maked it so that she sacrifices her Sunwell part and the human part survives. I only hope they change that someday, probably in a patch.

What they also could have done is that a red dragon (maybe even the red dragon aspect) gathers the remains of Anveena and bring her back to life, but without the powers of the Sunwell, because they were used to weaken Kil'jeaden, so he could be send back into the Nether. But I think she wasn't thinking logically while sacrificing, because she is more important then a couple of normal fighters. If they couldn't beat Kil'jeaden, she should have tried to escaped when kalec awakend her and use a more usefull plan. And yes, there is a difference between the powers of the Sunwell and Anveena.

P.S. Does anybody know if members of Blizzard read comments on WoWhead?

If you want to read about Anveena and Kalecgos's story, it can be found in the Sunwell trilogy.

There are two collections of the Sunwell trilogy besides the individual books themselves. The Sunwell Trilogy Ultimate Edition and The Essential Sunwell Collection. The Sunwell trilogy is comprised of the following three books:

Volume 1: Dragon Hunt
Volume 2: Shadows of Ice
Volume 3: Ghostlands

The only real difference between the two collections is the Ultimate Edition is larger, hard bound, with larger pages/pictures and has a full color intro. Included within a brand new sealed copy is a pin up poster and a card from the WoW trading card game.

The Ultimate Edition is becoming harder to find but it can still be found for a reasonable price if you know where to look. Try eBay or Amazon.com if you're interested in this tale.

In the last book of the Sunwell trilogy, Anveena was said to have secretly imbued Kalec with a portion of the Sunwell's power. When the Aspects were depowered at the end of Cata, theoretically, Kalec should now be more powerful than the other former Aspects.
