Greater Rifts Coming to Diablo 4 - Abattoir of Zir Explained Diablo 4 BlizzCon Campfire Chat Recap Blog Post
Here are all the details about
The Gauntlet, Leaderboards, and the Hall of the Ancients
that were shared during BlizzCon 2023's Diablo 4 Campfire Chat.
The Gauntlet
Basics
The Gauntlet can be accessed after reaching World Tier 4.
You
do not
need to be Level 100 to access The Gauntlet.
The Gauntlet is a fixed seed, non-linear dungeon, meaning that monsters and their positions, layout, and affixes are always the same.
In The Gauntlet, your mastery and skill will be tested to achieve the highest scores which will appear on the leaderboards.
Loot drops at the end of the timer. You don't have to worry about picking up loot on the way.
At the beginning of each week, a new Gauntlet will replace the current one and the leaderboards will reset.
Scoring and Rewards
Since The Gauntlet is non-linear, there are choices of how to progress through the dungeon to maximize your score (e.g. in groups you can decide where everyone should be going).
Monsters and Chests will drop pick-ups, called
Proofs of Might
, instead. You will have a limited amount of time to collect as many of them as possible to maximize your score.
You will be awarded a
Seal
depending on your score (that can be improved). Reaching the
Seal of the Worthy
will put you in the top 1000 of the corresponding leaderboard.
These Seals also come with a portrait frame that you can show off to other players in-game.

Leaderboards
Leaderboards will feature the top 1000 players in each ladder. These will reset every week.
This work in progress visualization shows the Solo Barbarian Ladder Overview.
The leaderboard will feature the following brackets: Solo Barbarian, Solo Druid, Solo Necromancer, Solo Rogue, Solo Sorcerer, 2 Player Party, 3 Player Party, and 4 Player Party.
Leaderboards are further separated by Hardcore and Non-Hardcore leaderboards.
There are additional filters to filter by platform, region, clan, friends, Hardcore, and non-Hardcore.
This work in progress visualization shows the leaderboard, its various brackets, and filters.
Hall of the Ancients
The Hall of the Ancients is a permanent leaderboard that cements the top 10 players from each week in every Season forever.
