Tides of Vengeance introduced many changes to Battle for Azeroth's dungeons. This post goes through known changes to the dungeons in Patch 8.1.
We've also provided our thoughts on how these changes will impact the dungeons.
The Blizzard changes were taken from
Blizzard's hotfix notes
, while the Community changes were found through some of our PTR datamining, the WoW community and

Updates
12/20: Trothak's
狂鲨飓风
now can be dodged and parried.
1/1: Sporecaller Zancha now starts the first phase at 0 energy.
1/9: Lord Stormsong’s Mind Rend impact damage reduced by 50%.

For those who weren't aware, you could previously place a Gateway through this wall, allowing you to skip arguably the hardest pack in Atal'dazar.
There are still other ways to get around this pack including:
Deathrunning
Tank pulling the mobs to the side and dying after the group has passed.
Crowd Control the two mobs to one side, then punt them out of the way using a Ring of Peace.

Trothak has become much easier with Sharks moving slower on their own, plus the ability to completely freeze them in place by running them over a blood pool. You might have to spend a little more time chasing a pig though.
King's Rest
Most of these changes significantly reduces the difficulty of trash in King's Rest and should bring King's Rest slightly more in line with other dungeons. The change to Golden Serpent's Animated Gold may open an alternative strategy where you kill the adds, instead of kiting them around the center.

The Whispers of Power change is important as Vol'zith the Whisperer has a lot of health considering the time you don't spend actually attacking him. Before the patch if the healer already had the debuff, it would go on a DPS. With no unavoidable damage on this encounter, you could keep the damage buff on the DPS. Now, the fight takes much longer due to DPS being unable to receive the buff.

Demolishing tentacles automatically aggro'ing was likely a fix to groups moving around the last Demolishing tentacle and never aggro'ing it. However, this causes the Tentacle to use it's hard hitting AoE ability if the group doesn't sprint to the next platform after firing the cannon. We recommend not firing the previous cannon until the rest of the party is already on the next platform.

Jes Howlis' difficulty has greatly increased as previously, players used to never interrupt his Motivating Cry and burn him down before it ended. Now, players will be forced to interrupt the ability to deal any meaningful damage to the boss and be forced to coordinate interrupts and line-of-sight his abilities at the right time while dealing with all the released prisoners. With the increased health, the last phase also takes longer.

The Sand Queen was a difficult boss on Necrotic weeks, as the extra adds can quickly prevent a tank from being healed. It's unclear how exactly this will outgoing damage on this fight with the increased frequency.
Due to the nature of Overseer Korgus' spell queuing and group composition, it was possible to get double or triple stacks of Incendiary Rounds on players which greatly increased the difficulty of the encounter. This should reduce the healing requirement in worst case circumstances.
Players normally skipped the outdoor cannon area of Tol Dagor because of how long it took. Now on a 19 Keystone, it will deal ~600k damage, greatly increasing the rate at which you can clear the area. Warning: will DEFINITELY one-shot party members now.
The Underrot

Sporecaller Zancha now begins the fight with 0 energy (was 50) and spawns a regular amount of mushrooms.
A very common strategy was to stealth or use invisibility to get to the first boss as the Matrons were very difficult to deal with. Now you'll be forced to deathrun or clear to the first boss.

Blood Matrons Warcry was a 30 second 100% haste buff to all mobs in the pull and now it's only 8 seconds. Warcry has a recast time of 16 seconds, which means that this buff still has a 50% uptime. It's going to be less painful to do this trash, but only slightly as the Blood Matrons greatly decrease the size of the pull you can make.
Elder Leaxa was previously regarded as a block to how high you could push Underrot keys, especially on Tyrannical, because dealing with multiple Blood Mirror clones at once is very difficult. Groups had a set DPS check they needed to make in order to prevent getting 3 clones at once, event starting with the healer in DPS spec, then swapping after the boss was dead. This change removes the block from Underrot.
