I wouldn't say that's entirely true. It is an upgrade over Heroic Thief's Blade for Rogues.

Using some EP measures from Elitest Jerks Combat Rogue thread, I've determined that this weapon is worth 2440.895 EP, compared to heroic Thierf Blade's 2377.42 EP. This means that, assuming no SMF warrior/Frost DK needs it, it is a DPS upgrade for most entry-level combat rogues. The only entry-level item that trumps it is the Krol Decapitator, which is either expensive or requires hellish RNG to get.

That being said, I do not condone any Rogue rolling for this over any Fury Warrior, Frost DK, or even some tanks. I personally passed it to a protadin because it was both my offspec, and he was having threat issues.

Just got this tonight in 25. Other DK had sympathy for his no-359-wep counterpart :) Not only perfect for frost, but the newly popular dual wield unholy build, which I'll try this out on.

Blizzard should come up with an option like ''show/hide cloak and helm'' in the interface menu that could let us, poor rper's, choose to sheath main-hand and off-hand weapon to side/back. Wouldn't that be wondeful?

Great first 359 weapon for DW Frost DK's. Since they're from the first boss of BWD, it isn't all that rigorous a process to pick one or two up.

As a one-handed weapon this can be wielded/transmogged by a mage. Which is pretty awesome. I'm RPing a mage/swordsman, using a blade as the main "mode of attack" so to speak, and this sword really looks like a good, powerful 2H sword. I also love that it's SHAPED vaguely like a sword, rather than a popsicle, tongue depressor, breadstick or jagged pickle.

Shoulders: 战争舞者肩甲
Chest: 翡翠胸铠
Gloves: I like 翡翠护手 but 银月皇家护手 are okay too
Belt: 翡翠束带
Legs: 血警卫的护胫
Boots: 翡翠马靴
Shield: 源质风暴盾牌 but there are other options like 陨落将军的壁垒 or 阿克米库莱，统御之盾
