This dagger is going to be amazing. Using you will be able to purchase it quite easily from just 10 man's and heroics. With mutilate looking to be one of the top specs, you will see a lot of entry level Rogues wielding this.

Yeah, it look more like a Bloodelf/Sunwell dagger. But don't forget that WotLK (Northrend) is not only ice.

I believe it is bought in dalaran, and the color and shape does make you think of the buildings and scenery in dalaran itself. Not all that different from silvermoon and other highelf / blood elf areas

In PvE the shivs would be fantastic due to poison and focused attacks procs, in pvp you should have 1.7+ for the burst.

The ~35 dps difference between this and the Shiv easily makes up for the .30 speed difference. Slow/Fast > Fast/Fast with such a big difference. Hell, I'd even dare and say that the difference in speed is even less with the amount of haste on gear these days. With just Slice and Dice up, the difference is more like 0.21:

1.4 * 0.7 = 0.98
1.7 * 0.7 = 1.19

That said, at the moment of writing, Mutilate is somewhat bugged and gives your Offhand 2 chances to proc its poison. This bug actually makes it worth while to put a fast dagger in your off hand and put Instant Poison on it and put Deadly Poison on your main hand, hence why I put Slow/Fast above.

And finally, if you can get the badges for this, you may as well go for The Fleshshaper from HoS. If it actually decides to drop(as it hasn't for me ¬.¬), because I do admit that the stat bonuses on Rolfsen's aren't that great.

At this point in Wrath, if you have access to even Naxx 10, you should probably not waste your emblems on this guy. Items of equivalent iLevel with 1.8 or 1.5 speed are most likely better, due to higher Mutilate damage or more poison procs, respectively. Anarchy and Knife of Incision are both better choices, and drop from Naxx 10 man.

Picked this up on my rogue, because I couldn't think of anything else to blow Emblems of Heroism on.

I'd just like to say, it's an AMAZING starter weapon for PvP, where slow/slow Mutilate still reigns supreme.

For PvE, you're better off with a LPC, but for PvP, this is much better.
