I can confirm that you can fish outside of the dragon isles and still tick this down, all you need to do is fish with an oversized bobber, no pools needed even, you can even fish via your Hyper-Compressed Ocean too!

Reusable Oversized Bobber (R.O.B.) + Crate of Bobbers: Murloc Head is a win for obnoxiously oversized :)
Related side note: The Cat Bobber scales up, but not the way you might think. I suspect the R.O.B. is a basic 200% scaling, which means an item that usually display's at 50px, would then display at 100px.
Where as a larger item that normally displays at 200px, X 200%, is now a pond hogging 400px. The actual scale amount was not measured, but definitely a multiplier, not additive

Very Interesting works with must Fishing Bobber Toys but sadly not the Can of Worms which is a shame as it’s my Favourite. Also its very quick to reach 100 as junk and coins add to the total so its posable to get 2-3 of a single cast maybe this is a bug that my get fixed as the Achievement is specific about it being 100 fish.

As mentioned in the Achivement Comments section, the fastest way to get this, is to fish for 盲目之眼 in 达拉然下水道. Each pool drops around 5-9 and they all count towards the achievement. Thanks to Arianny for pointing it out.

The Quick Facts panel says "Non-consumable" but it indeed disappears when you use it. ~~Oddly, it's not bound to account or character right now, and can be bought and sold on the Auction House.~~ It seems to have changed to BoP after a couple of weeks.

This was made Soulbound? You used to be able to get this and put it on the AH.
I had one on the AH (as had learnt it the first time) and as soon as it came out of the intake Mail to my bag (From not selling on Auction),...it's now been turned into Soulbound.
So don't know when they changed it,....but it now seems to be?
Weird.

if you get the achiev while your bags are full the item will not go to your mail and you have to send a ticket.
