Abilities and Explanation
Bloodthirsty and brutal,

's most feared enforcer, until he was felled by a mighty blow from Grommash's blade. Even in death, his blood was used by Gul'dan to fuel a dark bargain with the Iron Horde and their allies. Gul'dan and his minions now seek to reanimate the shattered remains of

, that he may continue to serve the Legion.

has effectively only three Phases in Mythic, which is one less than Heroic / Normal. The reason is that Phase 1 doesn't exist because Gul' dan kills the three

and entering Phase 2. As you progress through the phases,

will gain new abilities and also empower them. But in order for him to become more powerful, the

This encounter in the Mythic difficulty has a lot of differences compared to Heroic and each phase has to be handled differently. The main focus in Phase 2 and 3 is control. There is no huge rush to push the Boss into the next Phases as long as you have proper transitions (no adds alive for example). This changes in the last phase, Phase 4, where it becomes a race against the clock. You cannot stay in the last phase for too long as the damage is just too high. You basically just have to kill
玛诺洛斯
before he kills you.
Phase 2
Starting with Phase 2, the first thing I should mention is that because of all the role playing that Gul' dan does (sacrificing the Fel Summoners and resurrecting
玛诺洛斯
) it is almost pointless to use pre-pots, since when
玛诺洛斯
becomes targetable you will have less than 5 seconds remaining of your potion's effect. Now to begin with the fight itself, the most important thing in this fight is positioning. You need to have good assignments for each phase in order to control all the mechanics properly. For Phase 2, you need to make a tight circle around the boss with assigned spots for each raider, thus making sure that there will be an even spread around him. Here is a picture demonstrating the positions that you can use, assigning your tanks the spots 1-2, your ranged DPSers and Healers the spots 1-12 and your melee DPSers the spots 13-17 (if you have more melee put them at the 5-7 spots instead of your ranged players). The last player, is the third tank, who doesn't need a specific location, since he will be handling the

and therefore will have to run around a lot.
Phase 2 positioning:
In terms of how you handle the abilities of the Boss in this phase, it is pretty simple since they don't really overlap, so you only have to handle one at a time.
Starting with the tanks, you have 2 tanks assigned to handling the Boss and his Glaive Combos, and a third tank taking all the
末日领主
s who spawn in the fight. It is possible to go with 2 tanks, but that will require a lot better coordination and will probably cause a lot of unnecessary wipes. As stated this fight is primarily a control fight, so going with 3 tanks is definitely the safest option.
The 2 tanks who are tanking the boss only have to worry about his

. When Mannoroth does this combo, he will first cast a

, then a

, and then a
长刀猛刺
again. Since you cannot have the same tank take two
巨力冲击
s in a row (he will take 300% increased damage and die from the second one), you need to rotate by taunting the boss. The ideal time to do the swap is to have the first tank take the first

and the second tank to taunt and take the second
长刀猛刺
. Then when the next

happens, the first tank taunts right after the

again. As for the knockback part of the
巨力冲击
, it is preferred to have these two tanks be a class that can charge or teleport back (

), so that you don't have to worry about getting knocked off the platform. If you need to have a DK or a
圣骑士
tank, they need to make sure that they will get knocked back towards a
邪能尖塔
, hitting that wall and not fall to their deaths.
The third tank that is tanking the
末日领主
s has a very simple job. All he needs to do is pick up the
末日领主
s as soon as they spawn, drag them on top of
玛诺洛斯
, and when they are about to die, run away from the raid in order to explode by himself without killing anyone with his
末日之刺爆炸
. Just be careful because the
末日之刺
stacks get refreshed every time the
末日领主
auto attacks you, so if the
末日领主
dies without landing an auto-attack at the end, you will have very little time to run away, so always start moving early to make it in time for the explosion.
Moving on to the rest of the abilities, the most crucial one is the
玛诺洛斯
's
凝视
. You need 3-4 players to soak each
凝视
in order to be safe that the debuffed players don't die. By having the spread around
玛诺洛斯
, all that players have to do is go and soak the
凝视
that is closest to them.
For the Felseeker, the only thing that you need to do is move away from it to avoid getting hit. Ranged players / healers with good mobility can also go towards the edges of the platform right before the
邪能引导
is cast, in order to bait it outside, away from the rest of the raid. This will minimize the movement needed from the rest of the raid to avoid the
邪能引导
.
The Fel Hellstorm doesn't require anything special, all you have to do is side-step whenever it is casted to avoid the damage. Keep in mind that most of the meteors will spawn above players, so be careful when you are soaking the
玛诺洛斯
's
凝视
, because a lot of players are stacked up so you might have a lot of these meteors hitting at the same place. Just look at the ground and avoid the black patches basically :)
Now in terms of how you handle the adds in Phase 2, starting with the Fel Imps, because they spawn on players, you need to make sure that all of them spawn inside
玛诺洛斯
's hitbox (the red circle on the ground). Then as soon as they have all spawned, have a
死亡骑士
use Mass Grip to get all the imps gathered right at the middle of the Boss. As soon as they are gripped in, all of your DPSers need to AoE them down within 8 seconds. If you don't manage to kill them within 8 seconds, they will explode and kill any player around them. You shouldn't have too much trouble killing them if your raid has a couple of warlocks, mage, warriors and hunters. If one of the Fel Imps is not gripped in the middle because it was out of range, it is fine. Just make sure that everyone moves 15 yards away from it to avoid the
相位爆炸
and single target it down.
The Dread Infernals are not really a priority to kill, since as long as no one stands in their aoe, they do nothing at all. Just have your ranged dps throw a few DoTs to them so that they eventually die.
On the other hand, the
末日领主
s are a priority target. You need to make sure that they only cast the Marks of Doom once before you kill them. This doesn't require too much damage, but if you ignore them it will get very messy, both because of the Marks of Doom, but also for the tank who is tanking them.

When Mannoroth is about to reach 65%, which means he will enter Phase 3, the only thing you need to make sure is that you don't have any
末日领主
s alive, and that the timer of the

is more than 12 seconds. The reason is because when
玛诺洛斯
hits 65%, there is about 10 seconds of role playing (getting his flesh back, getting stronger, etc). During this RP, he will not cast any abilities, but the adds will keep spawning for those 10 seconds. Then after the RP is finished, all the timers get reset as you have entered Phase 3. So make sure to push the Boss to 65% when the timer for

still has more than 12 seconds remaining, since you definitely don't want to start Phase 3 with a fresh

.
Phase 3
As soon as you reach Phase 3, you need to change the positioning of the Boss and the raid.
玛诺洛斯
needs to move close to the Green Pillar (it gets destroyed when Phase 3 starts, but using it as a reference point), with the tanks facing him towards the edge of the platform (Skull Marker). The raid gathers behind the Boss with a slight spread to avoid taking too much damage from
邪焰风暴
s and the spawning of the
邪能小鬼
s. This positioning is required to handle the new ability that
玛诺洛斯
gains in this phase,
暗影之力
. The three players who get targeted by this ability need to either use their class abilities to outrun the pushback (sprint, charge, leap, etc), or get pushed back on either the Red or the Purple Pillar.
Phase 3 positioning:
The first thing that will happen in Phase 3 is Gul' dan casting his five
古尔丹之怒
debuffs. Thankfully it is not completely random players getting it. You will always have 2 melee dpsers, 2 ranged dpsers and 1 healer getting these debuffs. This makes it easier to assign positions in order to handle them. These debuffs are not hard to handle if they are few, so we focus on soaking three of them (the 2 melee dpsers and the healer) fast, and leave the 2 ranged players outside of the raid to keep them and slowly reduce their stacks throughout the whole Phase 3 (you only get these debuffs once per phase). In terms of positioning, you can do whatever suits you, but as an example, we had the healer with the
古尔丹之怒
stand on the Triangle Marker, the first melee dpser stand on the Moon Marker, the second melee dpser go and stand on top of the tanks (Shield Marker) and the two ranged dpsers stand on the Square and Circle Markers (one on each). Now in terms of soaking, the healer stacks are soaked from ranged dpsers that don't have the debuff themselves of course. The melee dpser on Moon is mainly soaked by the third tank at the start of the phase, since there are no
末日领主
s to tank at that point and then the rest of the melee dpsers who don't have the debuff. Lastly, the melee dpser who stands on top of the tanks, is obviously soaked from the two main tanks (whoever is not tanking soaks stacks).
After these 3
古尔丹之怒
s are handled, the only two remaining on the ranged dpsers are used for another purpose mainly. Since you still get the
末日领主
s in this phase, instead of letting the
末日领主
s get a
暗影箭雨
cast off to trigger the Marks of Doom, you instead have the three players who get the Marks of Doom to move outside of the raid and trigger their explosions by going to one of the 2 ranged dpsers who have the
古尔丹之怒
debuffs. This helps avoid massive damage to the whole raid, by kicking all the
暗影箭雨
s.
Apart from the things mentioned above, Phase 3 is pretty simple. You basically have everyone on the Cross Marker and every mechanic is easily handled:
暗影之力
→ Get pushed towards a pillar (players with
古尔丹之怒
can't get targeted)
邪焰风暴
→ Sidestep the meteors and don't stack too close to each other
玛诺洛斯
's

→ Everyone should get feared at the Cross Marker, so the rest of the raid just follows them and soaks all the damage
邪能引导
→ Ranged dpsers try to bait it outside of the raid, avoid the circles and go back to your positions after it is finished
邪能小鬼
s → Spawn them all behind the boss, Mass Grip them and AoE them down fast

s → Focus it down and interrupt all the casts

→ Same as Phase 2, just make sure to taunt after the
巨力冲击
and don't fall off the platform
When Mannoroth is about to reach 35% health, again make sure to kill the
末日领主
(if you have one alive) and that the timer of
军团诅咒
is more than 12 seconds when you hit 35%. Also the ranged dpsers that have the
古尔丹之怒
debuffs need to move in the raid in order to get rid of any remaining stacks they might have before Phase 4 starts.
Phase 4
As soon as the Boss hits 35% health, every dpser needs to use their dps cooldowns, dps potions and also use
嗜血
/
英勇
. Phase 4 is where you need to nuke the Boss as fast as you can, because it is not possible to stay alive for too long in this phase. The positioning changes slightly, because of the fact that the
战刃连击
, now that it is empowered, also stuns the tanks when they are knocked, so they can't charge/leap/etc back to the Boss. Therefore the tanks face
玛诺洛斯
sideways in order to get knocked across the edges of the platform without falling off. The rest of the raid all groups up behind the Boss, which is now the Moon Marker.
Phase 4 starting positioning:
The hardest part of this phase are the Wraths of Gul' dan, which you will again have five of at the start of the phase. That is why it is strongly advised to just sacrifice the 2 melee dpsers who get the debuff and combat res them after the die (they lose the debuff when they die). The way you do this is by having the 2 melee dpsers go to the Square Marker and stand exactly on top of each other. Then the 2 ranged dpsers who also get the
古尔丹之怒
debuff move next to the Square Marker, in order to link themselves with the 2 melee dpsers and essentially instantly kill them with their leasers. :D Even if you don't have 2 combat resses available, you should still sacrifice them, since it is very likely that having them stand inside the raid will result in at least one death. Now once the two melee dpsers die, the two ranged dpsers who have the debuff just stand away from the raid (around the Square Marker) and dps the Boss without linking their debuff with anyone from the raid (or each other). This means that the only
古尔丹之怒
that you will actually need to soak is the healer one, which should be mostly soaked by the third tank, since there are no more
末日领主
s spawning in Phase 4 (Red Pillar gets destroyed).
Once you have control of the
古尔丹之怒
debuffs, the rest of this phase is quite straight forward, since the abilities of the Boss always come in the same rotation.
First you get the
强化玛诺洛斯凝视
s → Everyone should be loosely spread behind the Boss and once the three circles appear, each player who isn't feared should step into one of the circles. IMPORTANT: Only be in one circle at a time, you shouldn't have players soaking two circles at the same time, because this will cause the
凝视暗影
(white stuff) to be huge and limit your room by a lot, which you don't want to happen. After the Boss casts this ability, the tanks should back-peddle slightly along the edge of the platform since the raid will need some room after they soak the
玛诺洛斯凝视
and the
凝视暗影
spawn
Second you get the
强化暗影之力
→ If you soaked the
玛诺洛斯凝视
correctly, and all the raid is stacked behind the Boss, all you need to do is press your ‘w' key and make sure that you get pushed back through the
凝视暗影
. This will slow you down and you won't fall off the platform. Of course you should still use Stampiding Roars and any speed boost your class has, but it shouldn't be too needed. The only players who need to be careful are the two ranged dpsers who have the
古尔丹之怒
debuff, since they aren't stacked with the rest of the raid. They need to watch the timer, and right when the Boss starts casting
暗影之力
, they need to move towards the raid in order to also be pushed through the
凝视暗影
. At that time have one of your hunters go on top of them and use
威慑
, so that he soaks up the stacks from their debuffs without taking any damage.
Third is the
强化邪能引导
. Right after the
暗影之力
is done, all your ranged players need to move to spots as far from the Boss as possible, in order to bait the
邪能引导
away from the rest of the raid. Basically don't just run back in melee range behind the Boss, because if you spawn a Felseeker there, your raid will have to move miles away to avoid it and then move again all the way back on the Boss.
Lastly you have the
邪能小鬼
s spawning, which means that right after the
邪能引导
has spawned, every ranged player (except the 2 ranged dpsers with
古尔丹之怒
) need to move close to the Boss, to spawn all the
邪能小鬼
s close enough so that they can get Mass Gripped and AoEed down as fast as possible.
This is basically the rotation of the 4 main abilities that you need to handle in this phase, and it is just a matter of staying alive and killing the Boss without losing any players.
Keep in mind that in Phase 4, there are constantly meteors falling from the sky (
强化邪焰风暴
, so never be too stacked up, otherwise you will increase the likelihood of getting hit from these meteors).
As mentioned, the Boss needs to be dragged around the room every time he casts
玛诺洛斯
's
凝视
, because of the
凝视暗影
.
Phase 4 movement:
Because this is a very healing intensive phase, make sure that the healers communicate with each other and use their raid healing cooldowns properly, especially for the
强化暗影之力
s. The good thing is that even if you have one of your tanks die due to lack of healing, you have one extra (the third tank) to take over, since he has nothing else to tank in this phase.
As a last tip, when the Boss is below 5%, you can choose to ignore the
玛诺洛斯凝视
and just let the three players who get them to die. This will ensure that the rest of the raid stays healthy, and can just continue dpsing the Boss.

Shadowforce → Get pushed towards a pillar (players with Wrath of Gul'dan can't get targeted)
hotfixed it ? the debuff targets get definetly shadowforce in p3.
