King's Rest is a max-level dungeon located in
祖达萨
. It is available to Level 120 players on Heroic, Mythic and Mythic+ difficulties only.
This guide will outline strategies and important role-based responsibilities for each of the 4 bosses in King's Rest, as well as some tips on particularly threatening trash mobs.
When running this dungeon in Mythic+, additional affixes will be present on the enemies in the dungeon, affecting the way they behave.
Attunements

Loot
Loot drops at ilvl 340 on Mythic.
For Mythic+ Dungeons, loot does not drop per boss. At the end of the dungeon, a special chest will spawn that contains loot from the dungeon, for which the base ilvl increases based on the Mythic Keystone level. The loot is personal, so each player should loot it to see what their reward is. Two pieces of loot are guaranteed and the items will be appropriate to the player's class/spec.
In addition, all loot in Battle for Azeroth is on an ilvl spectrum. Most loot has a base ilvl and a progressively smaller chance to appear as a Warforged version, increasing in intervals of +5 ilvls. Learn more about loot in the

Dungeon loot can also be found at random on World Quests, including quests that send you into the dungeon, as well as quests to kill random elites.

For Mythic+ Dungeons, loot does not drop per boss. At the end of the dungeon, a special chest will spawn that contains epic items from the dungeon's loot table, for which the base ilvl increases based on the Mythic Keystone level. The loot is personal, so each player should loot it to see what their reward is. Two pieces of loot are guaranteed for the party, and the items will be appropriate to the player's class/spec.
In addition, if you successfully complete a Mythic+ dungeon within the time allotted, the Keystone that was used to start the attempt will become upgraded by at least 1 level. The faster you clear the content, the larger the upgrade, up to a maximum of 3 levels higher.
If the party upgrades the keystone by more than one level, they will also receive the corresponding number of loot chests.

The Golden Serpent Notable Trash Mobs
As the group progresses towards the first boss, they will encounter 5 uniquely named trash enemies.

s will frequently cast

at the tank. This 3.5 uninterruptible cast will deal a large amount of damage and stun players for 2.5 seconds in a large cone directed at the tank.
The tank should face the
活化守卫
s away from the group at all times.
The

s will not change direction to follow the tank after the cast has begun. The tank should use this opportunity to move out of the incoming slam.
The
活化守卫
s will gain the

buff after fighting the party for a few moments.
This buff increases attack speed and spell haste by 100% and it cannot be purged.
Starting in 8.1, it no longer increases the speed of the

cast.
A pack of 7

adds will wait for the group to engage them. Each add has the

magic buff.
This buff acts as a damage absorption shield, whilst increasing the damage dealt by the add by 20%. The add will die when this buff is removed.
As this is a magical buff, the group should purge these adds as much as possible.

are great as they can remove many buffs at once.
The Minions of Zul will each

a random player and run towards them. Upon reaching that player they will apply

to the player, fearing them for 6 seconds.
This fear is a curse effect and can be decursed. Ideally no player will be afflicted with

, as the group will kite, crowd control and kill the adds before they reach any player.
The group should head south into The Lustrous Apse. In here the group can find many ghostly trolls. These trolls are here for flavor and will not interact with players in anyway.
Stand behind the

Players should move to the eastern part of the room, a balcony that overlooks the nearby area. Here a player needs to interact with the Serpentine Seal to progress further into the instance. The entire group should make sure that they are on the balcony before the Serpentine Seal is used, as the room is about to fill with trash mobs as the ghostly trolls fade away.
In this room the group will now face three uniquely named trash mobs in multiple configurations, as well as a roaming pack of
祖尔的爪牙
adds.
The

adds should be dealt with in the same manner as before, by kiting them whilst killing them via purges, ranged attacks and carefully placed melee attacks.

s will frequently channel

, holding up a shield in a direction for 6 seconds.
Players spells and attacks will be either blocked or deflected from this direction. Players must instead move behind the champion to deal damage.
After being in combat for roughly 30 seconds, the champions will gain the

enrage buff, increasing their damage done by 50%.
The champions will now start dealing very high damage to the tank via their melee attacks.
This enrage buff should be soothed off if possible. If the group cannot remove the buff, then the group should kill the

before it applies

s will spam cast

This 1.5 sec cast is interruptible, however it will resume casting a few seconds after being interrupted.
The group should interrupt the ability as much as possible, whilst always ensuring they have an interrupt available for the

cast.

is a 3.5 sec interruptible cast which will deal a large burst of shadow damage to the entire group. This must be interrupted in order to keep the group safe.

, creating a wandering tornado after a 1.5 second uninterruptible cast.
This tornado will whirl around the warrior, applying a 10 second nature damage dot to any player who is hit by it.
Players near the
影裔战士
s must do their best to avoid these
狂风鞭笞
tornadoes.
When engaging multiple
影裔战士
s at once, the tank may wish to move the pack into areas that are free of these tornadoes if the current area becomes too dangerous.
Once all trash has been killed in The Lustrous Apse,
黄金风蛇
boss will emerge from the centre of the room and fly around for a bit before coming to a halt.
It is at this point the group can engage the boss. The group should move back to the balcony whilst the boss flies around the room as to make sure they do not pull the boss straight away.

Abilities & Strategy
Place the

patches near one another!
黄金风蛇
is a single phase encounter which requires the group to react to debuffs quickly and precisely.
Throughout the encounter, the boss will target a random non-tank player with
吐金
. This will apply a 9 second debuff which deals high magic damage every 3 seconds.
Due to the high damage incoming from this ability, the healer will need to spot heal the target afflicted with
吐金
.
Upon expiration, the player will spawn a patch of
熔化的黄金
at their current location. This
熔化的黄金
will deal ticking damage to anyone who stands within it.
Players should attempt to place the
熔化的黄金
patches close to one another, not just to keep the encounter area clean, but also to help deal with the adds that spawn from them when

is cast.
Each time three new

patches have been placed,

will cast

, causing each pool to coalesce into

adds.
These adds do not have any abilities, instead they will simply move towards the boss. Upon reaching the boss they will be absorbed, despawning and applying a stack of

to the boss.
金光闪闪
is a buff which increases the bosses damage done by 50% and also grants a damage absorption shield equal to 12% of the bosses health. This buff is removed when players damage through the shield.
The group should kill the
活性黄金
adds whilst using crowd control spells to slow their advance, most notably by using Slows, Stuns and Displacement abilities.
It is important that the adds die close to one another, as they will melt into new
熔化的黄金
patches when they die.
If the adds are getting too close to the boss, the tank should move the boss away from the adds to prevent any

stacks from being applied, as this can quickly cause a wipe.
Once the

adds have died and reverted back to being

patches, the group should start placing new

patches next to them. This will help keep new waves of adds grouped up.
Avoid standing within the

zone!

will frequently cast

on the tank. This deals a large burst of physical damage after a short cast.
The tank should ensure that they have active mitigation or other damage reduction spells active when this attack lands.
The boss will also cast
蛇之风
. At the beginning of the cast, a 15 yard zone will appear around the boss. This zone will explode at the end of the cast, dealing substantial damage and knocking back all players within it.
Players need to quickly move 15 yards away from the boss when this ability is cast.
The boss will not move during the cast, making it easier to avoid but also making it more difficult to drag around if any

adds are nearby.
殓尸者姆沁巴
Mchimba Notable Trash Mobs
Where each of the mini-encounters are within the chamber.
The next encounter is marked by a shadow explosion!
After defeating
黄金风蛇
, the group needs to head through the gate to the southwest and down a corridor which leads into a chamber.
The far end of the chamber is sealed. The group needs to defeat four mini-encounters to progress further into the instance.
The mini-encounters are the same every time, however the order in which the group will fight them is random each time the dungeon is attempted.
The mini-encounters can be found on the edges of the chamber, two on each wall.
The encounter that the group will face will have a shadow explosion around it just before the enemies activate, giving the group a chance to prepare for the fight.

will channel a deadly

over 10 seconds, chasing the tank whilst dealing heavy damage to all nearby players every 0.5 seconds.
The tank should kite
提玛吉大王
during the
剑刃风暴
as to avoid this high physical damage.
The rest of the group should move away from
提玛吉大王
as to give the tank space to kite around in.
Aside from spam casting
暗影箭
, an interruptible cast which deals a moderate burst of shadow damage to the tank,
沃希女王
will cast
诱惑
on a random non-tank player.
This will place a 30-second magic debuff on a player which mind controls them. This mind control can only be removed by purging the player, or by simply waiting out the 30-second debuff.
Unlike other mind control effects, damaging the player will not remove them from the mind control, so don't kill your friends.
If you're unable to purge the player for whatever reason, the mind controlled player should be crowd controlled until the effect ends.
As the
诱惑
cast is uninterruptible, the group should instead use their interrupts on the
暗影箭
cast, as this will reduce incoming tank damage.

. After a 2.5 sec ramp up cast, he will channel for 10 seconds, dealing ticking damage to nearby players.
This cast cannot be interrupted via kicks, however displacement effects will knock the King around and stop his channel.
If the group does not have a displacement option, the group should move away from the incoming damage.
The tank should also mimic this movement to allow melee DPS to continue dealing damage to the other two enemies without taking ticking damage, as
拉胡艾大王
will not move whilst channelling.
Move away from the

has a 2 sec uninterruptible cast called

. This cast applies a hard hitting physical damage dot to all nearby players which lasts 10 seconds.
The group should stack up when

is cast to allow the healer to efficiently heal the group via AoE spells.
The Guard Captain can be stunned, so players can use a well timed stun to interrupt the
飞斧弹幕
and reduce incoming group damage significantly.
总管姆巴拉
will cast

on a damaged enemy. This 2 sec interruptible cast will apply a 10 second magic buff which heals the mob for 5% of their maximum health every 2 seconds.
This cast should be interrupted as a high priority. If the cast does go through, the group should identify who was the recipient of the buff and purge it away as soon as possible.

Do not stand within the

prefers to

the tank from afar, rather than melee hit. This makes her slightly more awkward to manoeuvre than a standard enemy.
The queen will fire

at a random player, spawning a large shadow pool at their location after 1.5 seconds. This pool deals ticking damage and slows player movement speed by 11%.
The group must simply avoid standing within the shadowy
黑暗射击
pool. The tank may need to re-position enemies to ensure that melee players can safely attack them.
The
骸骨狩猎迅猛龙
will cast
狩猎跃击
on a randomly selected player. This will cause the raptor to jump to the location of that player and begin a 5 second channel.
Over the course of the channel, the raptor will unleash a series of attacks which deal damage in a cone directed at the initial location of the player it jumped to.
The group must identify the direction the raptor is facing so that everyone can quickly move behind it, out of the way of the frontal cleave attacks.
The

cannot be stunned and the
狩猎跃击
cannot be interrupted.

will apply the

poison debuff on a random non-tank player. This is a 4 second dot which causes the player to spawn a pool underneath themselves each time the dot ticks.
The player afflicted with this debuff should be dispelled if possible. In situations where a poison dispel is not available, the player should move away from the group and place the pools in low traffic areas.
The tank may need to move enemies into a clearer area to allow melee DPS to continue to safely attack the trash mobs.

s will mark the location of a random player, by placing a shadow swirly circle underneath them, when they begin their
暗影旋风
cast.
After the 2 sec uninterruptible cast has finished, the agent will teleport to that area and deal a burst of shadow damage to anyone within 4 yards.
The group should quickly identify where the Agent is about to teleport to and move away from it to avoid this damage.
After the group has defeated all four mini-encounters, the portcullis at the far end of the chamber will upon up, granting access to the rest of the instance.
The group needs to follow the path and cross a bridge. On this bridge players will encounter a

has two uninterruptible casts.

will spawn a large patch of fire at the tanks location. This fire will deal ticking damage to anyone who stands within it.
The tank should move away from this location to avoid the damage. If the

takes a long time to die, the tank may need to drag him along the bridge to find a safe area.

over 10 seconds. This beam deals ticking damage to any player it comes into contact with.
The construct will rotate clockwise as it channels the

. The group needs to move around the construct to ensure they are not hit by the beam at any time.

After defeating the

, the group will enter the Chamber of Eternal Preservation, which is home to the next boss:

The group should clear all trash in this encounter space, as the Mchimba boss fight requires a large amount of free space to deal with the bosses mechanics.
The group must be careful when clearing the area, as the boss can be quite easily pulled by accident!
The group will encounter two different trash enemies in this chamber.
A ton of
防腐液
goo enemies can found throughout the chamber. Each will cast
泼洒液体
, which creates a patch of
防腐液
at the location of a random player.
Standing within the
防腐液
patches applies a stacking debuff which deals ticking damage and slows the players movement speed by 10% for 20 seconds.
Players who do not move from a patch quickly will gain stacks of the
防腐液
at an alarming rate, which in turn makes it more difficult to move out of the patch.
Players must quickly move from the pools as not to be stuck inside one of them, forever taking high ticking damage.
The player is in this crypt!
Two
葬礼构造体
s are in this chamber, one at either end of the room. They will cast

on a player, which places them in one of the two nearby crypts.
Whilst a player is inside a crypt, they cannot act in any usual way and their action bar is replaced by a vehicle bar with a single ability: Struggle.
This will cause the crypt to wriggle from side to side for a moment, allowing your allies to identify which crypt you are in so that you can be released.
Whilst the player is entombed, the

will cast

. This 30 second channel deals ever increasing ticking damage to the entire group.
This cast is interrupted when the player is released from their Entomb crypt.
On high mythic keystone levels, a DPS or Tank should aim to release the entombed player, whilst the healer focuses on combating the incoming damage.
After the room is clear, the group can now safely engage

殓尸者姆沁巴
Abilities & Strategy
殓尸者姆沁巴
is a single phase encounter in which players will need to free their allies from the tombs around the edges of the encounter space.
殓尸者姆沁巴
s encounter room has four crypts, two on either sides of the room. His most devastating ability is Entomb, in which he will place a random non-tank player into one of these tombs.
The boss will then move to each crypt in turn, opening them up. He will always open the crypt with the player inside last. As soon as the player has been released from the tomb,
殓尸者姆沁巴
will stop opening tombs and the fight will return to normal.
The player inside the tomb cannot move and is pacified. They will gain access to a vehicle bar which has a single ability: Struggle, which will cause their crypt to wriggle.
The player inside should spam cast this ability to allow their teammates to quickly identify which crypt they are in. The group can then release the player as soon as possible.
To make this as quick as possible, two players should stand next to each set of tombs before the ability is cast. This will allow a quick release regardless of who is Entombed.
Move away from the
燃烧腐蚀
zones!
Whenever a crypt is opened that doesn't contain a player, a

add will spawn and attack the party instead.
This add has an interruptible cast called

which applies a high damage 12 second disease dot on to the entire group.
This cast must be interrupted if the group does accidentally spawn a

, as the damage from the disease can quickly wipe an unprepared group!
殓尸者姆沁巴
will focus on the location of a random player and cast

. This will create a zone which explodes at the end of the cast, dealing damage to anyone nearby.
This area will then be coated with
燃烧之地
fire which deals high ticking damage to anyone who stands within it.
As this area will be on fire for a long time, the group should avoid standing in front of the four coffins around the outskirts of the room when
燃烧腐蚀
is due to be cast, as the
燃烧之地
will make accessing the coffins very dangerous!
The boss will cast
排干体液
on a player, dealing high nature damage every 2 seconds over the 8 second cast.
At the end of the cast, the player will receive the
干枯
debuff, which reduces their damage done and movement speed by 50%. This debuff can only be removed when the player is healed above 90% health.
The healer should focus their casts into the player targeted by
排干体液
, not just to initially counteract the damage, but also to bring them above the 90% mark as soon as possible.
Players targeted by this spell may wish to use personal defensive cooldowns or even heal themselves to help counteract the
排干体液
damage and
干枯
debuff.
The Council of Tribes
Council of Tribes Notable Trash Mobs
After the group has defeated
殓尸者姆沁巴
, they need to head west into the Halls of Ash.
As soon as the group reaches the top of the staircase,
they should wait until the trash spawns
. Eager players who run into the soon-to-be-full area will pull a ton of trash when it spawns, likely causing a wipe.
In this area, the group will face seven uniquely named trash enemies.
Avoid standing within the
血腥之跃
zone!
鬼灵妖术祭司
s will spam cast
幽灵弹
on the tank, dealing a moderate burst of shadow damage.
This cast is interruptible, however the group should save at least one interrupt per
鬼灵妖术祭司
for their
妖术
cast.
妖术
is a 3 second cast that applies a 10 second curse debuff to them. This debuff pacifies and silences the player, but does allow them to move about as a cute little dinosaur.
This cast should be interrupted as a high priority. If the cast goes through, the group should aim to decurse that player if possible.
When
幽魂狂战士
s begin to cast
血腥之跃
, they will mark the location of a random player by placing a purple swirly circle on the ground.
At the end of the cast the
幽魂狂战士
will jump to that location, dealing damage and knocking back any player within 4 yards.
This ability can be difficult to see, as the environment has a purple hue to it. Keep your eyes peeled and do your best to dodge it.
幽魂狂战士
s will also frequently cast
切裂之刃
at the highest threat player within 10 yards, applying a 10 sec physical damage dot. This effect can stack.
The tank should attempt to always be within 10 yards of any
幽魂狂战士
s that the group is engaging, otherwise the
切裂之刃
will hit a nearby non-tank target!
This ability is cast frequently enough that it will stack, even when fighting just a single Berserker. The group should focus down these enemies to stop the dot from stacking too high.
Quickly destroy any Healing Tide Totems that spawn.
A
幽魂蛮兵
will patrol down the middle of the Halls of Ash. Players should take care not to engage this enemy accidentally as he moves around.
The
幽魂蛮兵
will cast
裂地
. After the 3.5 second cast finishes, all players within 18 yards will take a large burst of damage and be knocked high into the air.
The group should take advantage of the long cast time by moving away from the
幽魂蛮兵
before the cast finishes.
幽魂巫医
s will cast
冰霜震击
on a random target, dealing a moderate burst of frost damage and slowing the targets movement speed by 50% for 15 seconds.
This slow can be, and should be, dispelled as it is a magic debuff. This will give that player full manoeuvrability, allowing them to dodge other trash mob mechanics.
The
幽魂巫医
s will also place down a
治疗之潮图腾
nearby. This totem will heal all nearby trash mobs for 5% of their maximum health every 2 seconds.
The
治疗之潮图腾
should be killed as soon as possible, as otherwise it will hang around for 30 seconds whilst slowing the parties progress significantly.
幽魂兽王
s prefer to spam

the tank, rather than melee hit them. This makes the slightly more awkward to position in comparison to standard enemies.
Avoid hitting the entire group with
毒幕
.
The Beastmasters will cast
死眼射击
on a random target. After the 3.5 second uninterruptible cast completes, that player will take a moderate burst of damage and be knocked back a long distance.
The targeted player should ensure that they are not knocked back into additional trash packs.
The most dangerous ability the
幽魂兽王
s will cast is
毒幕
. At the beginning of the 4 second uninterruptible cast, they will fixate on a random player.
Upon cast completion, they will send out a cone of arrows, applying a hard hitting poison dot which lasts 20 seconds.
The Beastmaster will rotate to keep track of the target as it casts
毒幕
. Because of this, the targeted player should face the Beastmaster away from the rest of the group.
荣耀迅猛龙
s will cast
狩猎跃击
. This acts identically to the
狩猎跃击
the
骸骨狩猎迅猛龙
cast earlier in the instance.
狩猎跃击
will be cast on a random player, causing the raptor to jump to the location of that player and begin a 5 second channel.
Over the course of the channel, the raptor will unleash a series of attacks which deal damage in a cone directed at the initial location of the player it jumped to.
The group must identify the direction the raptor is facing so that everyone can quickly move behind it, out of the way of the frontal cleave attacks.
The group will move south through the Hall of Honored Dead and into the chamber which holds the The Council of Tribes encounter.
The Council of Tribes Abilities & Strategy
The Council of Tribes is an encounter in which the group will face three bosses, one after another. The order in which the bosses appears changes each week.
Once a boss is defeated they will no longer engage the group directly, instead only appearing occasionally to cast a signature spell before fading away again.

Make sure the entire partyis hit by the

charge!
Aka'ali will cast
衰弱抽击
on the tank, dealing a burst of damage to them and knocking them back slightly.
This will also apply the

debuff, increasing physical damage taken by 200% for 10 seconds.
During this 10 second period, the tank should either use large defensive cooldowns, or kite Aka'ali around until the debuff drops.
征服者阿卡阿里
s most important ability, and the ability she will cast even after she has been defeated, is

. She will focus on a target. After 8 seconds she will run at them, dealing damage and knocking back anyone in her path.
She will hit her primary target an additional time when she reaches them, dealing substantial physical damage which is reduced for each player hit by the initial charge of

Players should ensure that they stand in the path between the boss and her
翻滚
target. This will bring the damage of her additional hit down to survivable levels.
When cast as a spirit,

will appear at a random location at the edge of the encounter space. Players need to quickly identify where she is so they can soak the
翻滚
charge.
屠夫库拉
屠夫库拉
will target a random player and throw a
斩首之斧
at them. This applies a physical damage dot that lasts 20 seconds.
The target of this debuff should be kept topped up by the healer, as the ticking damage combined with other damage sources may become lethal.
Kulas most important ability, and the ability she will cast even after she has been defeated, is
旋转利斧
.
After a short cast, she will deal a burst of damage and knock back all players within 10 yards.
Players within melee range need to make sure they move away from her before the cast finishes.
旋转利斧
will deal damage to anyplayer within 10 yards.
Avoid getting hit by the blades thatrotate around the encounter area!
Immediately after the cast finishes, Kula will send out two blades that will spin away from her in a circular motion. Initially, these axes move away from her quickly but will slow down after moving around 15 yards away.
The axes will then proceed to rotate around the room, slowly moving towards the edges at which point they will despawn.
Any player hit by the axes will take a burst of damage, be knocked back and receive a 6 second physical damage dot.
Players need to avoid these axes as much as possible. Melee players should wait for a few seconds after the axes spawn, as to give them time to leave her melee range and free up that space.
When cast as a spirit, Kula will always appear in the middle of the room. The group must be aware of this so that they can dodge the ability properly.

智者扎纳扎尔
has two casts that the group should aim to interrupt.
闪电箭
deals a moderate burst of nature damage to the tank. This is cast frequently cast so groups with long cooldown interrupts may struggle to get each cast.
Run over to Zanazal and interrupt himwhen he casts
毒性新星
.
Zanazals most dangerous spell is the
毒性新星
cast. This long cast will apply a 20 second high damage dot on to the entire group.
This can quickly wipe a group if the cast goes through, so saving at least one interrupt for this cast is essential.
This ability will be cast even after Zanazal has been defeated. He will appear at a random location at the edge of the room and begin his cast. Players need to react quickly to interrupt this spell.
Zanazal's most important ability is

. This spell will summon four different totems around the room. The totems have been listed in our recommended kill order, from most important to least. All players should focus on killing the totems before damaging the active boss.

: This totem will cast

, dealing a huge amount of damage to the entire group if the cast goes through.
This totem must be destroyed as soon as it spawns, as even a single
爆炸
cast can cause a wipe if combined with other damage sources.

: This totem will cast

which will interrupt all spell-casting for 4 seconds.
Players want to ensure that they are not casting when the
雷鸣冲坠
cast finishes, as to make sure they are not locked out of their spell casts.
This totem is killed second as to allow healers and other spell casters to continue their output without interruptions.
洪流图腾
: This totem will channel
洪流
, causing several bolts to spew out across the encounter space. Players who remain in the landing locations of these bolts will take damage and be knocked back.
This totem should be removed next, as although the damage it deals is completely avoidable, it punishes immobile classes and prevents them from outputting damage and healing effectively.
地墙图腾
: This totem places a magic purgable damage absorption shield on the currently active boss for 2 minutes.
The group should finish this totem last before switching to the boss and damaging/purging off the shield.

will spawn totems around the edge of the encounter space.
Dazar, The First King
Dazar Notable Trash Mobs
After defeating the The Council of Tribes, the group should backtrack to the north. There the group will get a cut-scene in which a bridge will open up to the west. This bridge leads towards the last boss:

Upon crossing the bridge, the group will encounter the
祖尔之影
. This enemy uses abilities from the Zul Reborn encounter from the Uldir raid instance, albeit in a toned down form for the 5 man setting.
祖尔之影
will spam cast
暗影弹幕
on the tank, dealing damage and applying a 10 second dot debuff.
Although this ability is cast frequently, the dot application does not stack, instead it will simply refresh each time
暗影弹幕
hits the tank.
This ability cannot be interrupted in any way, as the
祖尔之影
is immune to all crowd control and interrupt effects.
The
祖尔之影
can be incredibly difficult to move as this ability is cast so frequently.
Move away from your allies whenafflicted with
黑暗启示

黑暗启示
will spawn a
祖尔的爪牙
upon expiration!
Stand within a
黑暗之池
to prevent itfrom dealing damage to the group!
The
祖尔之影
will apply
黑暗启示
to a random non-tank player. This 10 second debuff is harmless until it expires, at which point it deals a burst of falloff damage to the entire group.
As the damage does fall off with distance, the afflicted target should move away from the group to minimise incoming group damage.
The debuff will also spawn a single
祖尔的爪牙
upon expiration. This add will act exactly like the
祖尔的爪牙
adds from earlier in the instance.
Make sure that the player fixated by the
祖尔的爪牙
runs away, whilst the group either crowd controls and kills it, or simply purges it to defeat the add instantly.
祖尔之影
will also spawn a
黑暗之池
nearby which will deal damage to all players within 15 yards every second via its
喷涌黑暗
.
If a player stands within the
黑暗之池
, they prevent this damage from being dealt to nearby players and they will simply take some damage each second instead.
Although the group could just move away from the
黑暗之池
to outrange the damage, melee players will not be able to hit the
祖尔之影
as he is unlikely to follow the tank.
Instead a ranged player should simply stand within the
黑暗之池
to prevent the group from taking this damage.
After the
祖尔之影
has been defeated, the group can head west and enter the Crypt of the First King where they will encounter

Abilities & Strategy
The
Dazar, The First King
encounter forces players to deal with a few painful yet avoidable mechanics whilst also having to manage a couple raptor adds that spawn at set health percentages.
Dazar has three abilities that he will use throughout the encounter.
Move away from your allies whentargeted by
震地之跃
!
Dazar will cast
剑刃连击
on the tank, dealing high physical damage over the 1.5 second duration.
The tank should use active mitigation to survive this series of hits whilst the healer spot heals the damage.
Do note that Dazar will always sprint back to the tank as he casts this, so it is impossible to out-range the ability.
震地之跃
will be cast on a random non-tank player. After a 3.5 second cast, Dazar will leap to the player and deal physical damage to the entire group. This damage drops off with range.
The targeted player should move away from the group to help create distance between the
震地之跃
and the party.
There is no reason to "overdo" this movement, as the overall damage from this ability isn't particularly high in the first place.
Dazar will cast
强风劈砍
at a random non-tank player. This will send out a tornado towards that players location. Upon arriving, the tornado will proceed to spin around the encounter area before despawning some time later.
The group should make sure they move out of the way of the tornado, as it will apply a nasty 1 minute nature damage dot and knock you back.
As the fight progresses, the group needs to be aware of its surroundings because the room will become cluttered with these
强风劈砍
tornadoes.
Avoid the
强风劈砍
tornadoesthat rotate around the room.
Upon reaching 80% health, Dazar will summon
莱班
. This raptor has it's own health pool and aggro table, so should be quickly picked up by the tank.
莱班
will frequently leap to a random players location and cast
狩猎跃击
, a series of frontal cone attacks which deal physical damage.
Nearby players should move away from
莱班
when
狩猎跃击
is cast as to avoid this damage.
The DPS should focus their damage onto
莱班
to remove him from the encounter as soon as possible.
The tank may wish to drag Dazar over to
莱班
each time it jumps to allow some cleave damage to go from
莱班
onto the boss.
Upon reaching 60% health, Dazar will summon his mount,
提扎拉
. He will subsequently mount her until she dies, casting all of his abilities like usual.
提扎拉
will cast
致命咆哮
, dealing damage and fearing the entire group for 2 seconds. This cast is uninterruptible and unavoidable.
This cast alone makes
提扎拉
a great threat and as a result the group will want to kill
提扎拉
as soon as possible.
提扎拉
will redirect all damage taken by Dazar to itself via the
永恒守护者
passive.
As a result, players should aim to deal as much damage as they can to both enemies as to quickly remove
提扎拉
from the encounter.
Once Dazar reaches 40% health, he will gain access to the
穿刺长矛
mechanic. Spears will lunge at locations on the ground from the ceiling, dealing damage and stunning players for 2 seconds.
Players can tell where the spears will hit as the areas of interested are marked with brown swirly circles.
The spears do not trigger randomly, but instead appear in two different patterns.
Pattern 1
One pattern will fill up an the space between the central area and the wall in a line. This line of spears will then begin to rotate around the room. After one full rotation this pattern will end.
Players must run directly away from incoming wall of spears, which is easier to do if close to the central pillar as less distance must be travelled.
Pattern 2
The second pattern will form several cone shaped areas around the room, each with a sizeable distance for players to safely stand in between.
After these spears have triggered, the safe spots will now be targeted for the spears, leaving the previous areas as the safe spots for players to stand in.
The group needs to stand in the initial safe spot before moving to the area which was just hit by the spears, as this becomes the new safe spot.

sorry about my bad English.
i run the King's Rest 2times.
at every run, i got a suspicious deaths. maybe 4~5 times.
while combat with boss, adds.
not while combat also.
there is no text death logs.
and there is '20k fall damage' at details.
anyone knows reason?

it makes no since to kill adds on first boss if they are going to keep adding up it would be better to just cluster them and kite in a circle around the center of the room only killing adds when necessary seems like a large dps loss off the boss when u can use almost every type of cc to keep them back

Hey, I've done this dungeon several times now on my priest and I can't seem to dispel the seduction mind control which Queen Wasi casts on a party member.
The party member will become an enemy so purify doesn't work on it, while dispel magic only removes buffs, I tried to use both and none of them worked.
Am I doing something wrong? or is it bugged

I didn't test this out with damage, but if you AOE on
提扎拉
, I am pretty sure you hit them both. I am an Outlaw Rogue, so I use
剑刃乱舞
to hit both of them at the same time, but it only works if you hit
提扎拉
, since you hit him/her with the main damage, then AOE
达萨大王
with the extra AOE damage, and that gets redirected to
提扎拉
. Next time you run this, try to hit the dinosaur to AOE the king.
