Kill Mimiron on his hard mode.
Push the big red shiny "DO NOT PUSH" button prior to the fight to activate the self-destruct mechanism. This gives the raid 10 minutes to kill Mimiron before the raid is wiped. Also gives all Mimirons vehicles the

buff, increasing their health and damage done by 25% and giving them many new abilities.
Now why would you go and do something like that? Didn't you see the sign that said 'DO NOT PUSH THIS BUTTON!'? How will we finish testing with the self-destruct mechanism active?

Pressing the big red button changes the fight in many ways:
Phase 1:
In addition to getting increased damage and health, Mimiron can also spawn 2 or 3 patches of Doomfire on a random person in the raid. The fire attempts to follow the person closest to it. The fire moves every 3-4 seconds (there is a delay).
Phase 2:
The flames continue to spawn through this phase. Mimiron himself does a melee-range AE pulse that eliminates fire in the inner circle where his vehicle comes up from. He also throws a big Ice Bomb at a random spot in the room. This detonates after a few seconds dealing around 8000 damage, knocking players hit by the explosion away from the bomb, and extinguishes any fire near it.
Phase 3:
A new type of robot spawns during this phase. They run around the room, pausing at certain intervals to extinguish patches of fire throughout the room.
They also have an aura that silences anyone near them.*
The most popular strategy is to just kill these new robots as quickly as possible, as having them silence your healers can be very dangerous. Also, Mimiron can only spawn so much fire. If you kill the robots quickly, you only have to manage the fire that has already spawned, giving you an advantage.
Phase 4:
I have limited experience on this phase, but I can still provide some insight. The fire continues to burn in this phase, so it is still crucial to watch your step. I cannot remember Mimiron gains any new abilities in this phase, but I do know that he has all of the abilities he has in normal mode. Also, thanks to the recent fixes to the encounter, the base of his machine will now be stunned whenever the middle starts to channel the Laser Barrage, making things a lot less hectic!

The general theory behind controlling the fire
Generally tuck it where you're
not
going to be during the next phase. At the end of Phase 1, make sure all the fire is on the outside wall. When the 1st fire spawn happens during the transition between Phase 1 and Phase 2, run all the way around that fire pile so it's kited through itself. You can see this in action on our first kill video:

You can also see that we kite Mimiron in Phase 3 around the outside ring, so we try to tuck fire into dead center of the room during Phase 2 and the transition between Phase 2 and Phase 3. If you're having trouble with the healing requirements of Phase 2, make sure to blow Heroism/Bloodlust there. Phase 3 is more about execution than anything else, though some will argue that you should use Hero during that phase to push him over with only 2 cores. We've found that in 10 man, it's actually pretty easy to push him in 2 cores without heroism use if you do it right...but when you're learning it, you'll probably want to use it then.

Phase 3 seemed to give us a lot of trouble, until I (blood DK) in frost presence with DPS gear taunted and ate the bomb bots dmg. With 25k hp they hit me for 75% of my health when they explode. They are very squichy and spawn close to the CD of Dark Command (8 seconds), which means you should have a lot of time to get healed up for the next one.

Our guild recently just downed him (post-super nerf). I will attempt to explain this fight as to how we handled it with our group make up.
First of all, we all had alot of 25 men gear, for 10 men only raiding guild, the following strategy might not work at all as high dps requirement's required.
Setup: 1 Tank,
2
.Healers, 7 DPS
Prot Pally, Arms Warrior, Unholy DK, Ret Pally, Surv Hunter, Ele Shaman, Combat Rogue, Arcane Mage, Resto Druid, Holy Priest (Note: I, the warrior, should be Fury ideally but my gear all had Armor Pen on it and I don't want to recaculate and regem some sockets for strength).
Phase 1
Tank Perspective
-Start in the middle, with big red button as the 12 o'clock direction, after first Shock Blast, go to 4 o'clock direction and move clockwise
-Every time he drops land minds, run past them, so the melee can run out clearly without going around bombs when the next shock blast comes, if fire spawn on melee, slowly move clockwise still, but only clear past mines if caster is kiting fire
Melee Perspective
-Follow boss and do the following: Attack, attack, run, dodge, attack, attack, dodge fire, attack, attack, run
Range Perspective
-If you get napalm shell'ed, use your stuff to help mitigate damage, ele shaman can self heal, mage can fire ward etc.
Healer Perspective
-Depending on what cooldown your tank use to mitigation plasma blast, you might have to heal really hard
-Sometimes when melee run back in after a napalm, they might be forced to run between 2 mines, which result in unlucky naplam shell (blowing up 2-3 melee at once), when that happen you just need to be prepared for it (hots on people before hand etc.)
Fire Control
-Keep at outer edge the entire time
-Goal: One third of the quardrant covered ONLY
Additional Notes
: We used pally shield wall, guardian angel (druid healer cannot solo heal through with just this cooldown), and other pally use divine sacrifice (and Hand of Sacrifice) to mitigate the Plasma Blast. We run 7 dps so by the time the guy puts out all the fire in the room, he's already at 33% (this usually occurs after 2nd shock blast). We never get to the 4th cooldown.
Phase 2
Tank Perspective
-Easiest phase for you. Our pally used his AOE shield to help mitigate damage (only time he could use it because he needed to use a full bubble in conjuction with the talent.
Melee Perspective
-Mimiron will constantly put out the fire in the middle, melee should run behind him constantly to avoid extra damage
-If fire spawns on melee while he barrage, fire will not be put out. Melee either should dance to the super edge of the barrage to continue dps or simply walk out.
-If a Frost Bomb lands half way between the outer edge of the room and Mimiron, the explosion will hit you IF YOU ARE ON THE SAME SIDE (and bring your health very, very low if you are completely topped off as well as a knockback which almost guarantee to knock you into the side with the fire, so becareful)
Range Perspective
-Spread out in groups of 2 (3 ideally if you have room), no 2 groups should be blasted the same time by the machine gun thing
-Dodge rockets obviously (with all the ^&*! going on sometimes people forget)
-Most of the time the Frost Bomb will launch near the fire spot in the phase 1, so if you're kiting fire on the edge, becareful because you're most likely will be in the danger zone, and generally range DPSer has lower health, the bomb will kill you even in 10 men.
Healer Perspective
-HEAL HARD; everyone will take A LOT of damage, burn your entire mana pool here if needed as phase 3 is not nearly as healing intensive
-DO not stand near melee just because fire gets put out there, the aoe pulse will reduce your casting speed by 50% so don't even try
-Barrage time is excellent, excellent time to stop healing not as crazy for a bit to regain mana if needed (only if fire doesn't go on melee)
Fire Control
-Keep in the middle in between phases, phase 3's at outer edge again
-Goal: IF YOU DO THIS PERFECT, YOU WILL ONLY HAVE 1 SPOT OF FIRE LEFT (as shown here

Additional Notes
: Bloodlust/Heroism this phase because it's the only time your melee and caster get 100% up time use of the buff, and healers need the haste to heal through it. Our pally aoe shield'ed at the end of Bloodlust to mitigate damage. Run fire aura for melee <__<, the pulse that put out the fire however does 0 damage.
Phase 3
Tank Perspective
Mimiron Tank: We had the arcane mage Tank him, they work well with high arcane resist (from talent). You are the key to this fight. The kiter must know when the Assault bot is about to die, and HAUL ASS back to a clear space so the head's completely cleared of the fire so the core person can bring it down.
Assault Bot Tank: You get hit hard, really hard (but slow), use your stuns and other craps if available. Real danger is if you're tanking one and fire spawns under you, call for a dispel or stun or freedom to make sure you don't get rooted by the beam thingy that they do to make you immobilize. Pally tank excel for tanking these guys because they have all the arsenal to get out of it.
Melee Perspective
-Dps assault bot fast and hard, but if you're wearing plate for the love of god go damage any trash or junk bots out there so they don't get on healers to interrupt and damage
-Unholy dk, ret pallies, and fury warriors do good job on rounding up these things (arms can sweeping strke + bladestorm but not as effective as constant whirlwind).
Range Perspective
-Macro to target bomb bot, this is essential and must. In 10 men, once again, if you are topped off, bombs will not kill you, but bring you to 14% or so. Bomb bot will always always always be your top priority, dps head if your melee can kill assault bots quick enough, otherwise help dps assault bot.
Healer Perspective
-Your two tanks will taking most of the blunt, with the melee tanking splash from trash. Damage's pretty predictable so you can regen a bit from this phase if needed (however, this is only from our guild healer's experience, others might still find a lot of damage going on at the two tanks).
-As of recent nerf, you not longer need to worry TOO much (more in a second) about the fire bots that spawn this phase as they no longer silence you.

Fire Control
-Do not concern yourself with this, the fire extinguish bots that spawn this phase will almost wipe clean the floor on fire, run to clear opening if you need to bring head down and kill it.
-Goal: 1/3 arena completely burned, 2/3 completely burned's almost impossible because fire bots will extinguish a lot.
Additional Notes
: In case your head tank dies, it is very possible to any class with a taunt to gain aggro and pull him away to bring him down. I MUST ONCE STRESS THE TANK ON THE HEAD MUST KNOW WHEN THE CORE'S GOING TO BE AVAILABLE AND LITERALLY HAUL ASS TO MAKE SURE IT GETS TO A CLEAR SPACE TO BRING DOWN. Push 2 cores phase is ideal because of the enrage timer, though some guilds have success with 3 cores. Hunter pets if somehow can build high enough aggro could make the bombs explode, however, we just blow it up as it's more reliable this way (because the hunter pet taunt's not actually a taunt but a high threat move so healers can easily outthreat the pet). The Fire Extinguisher will do a jet move that will hit up to 20k. Junk/trash bot can melee crit clothies up to 15k back to back. Best way to handle transition to allow no silly death is have a dps (warrior or feral druid) aoe taunt and blow defensive cooldowns, while the assault bot tank single taunt the assault bot (or stun it) so all the trash's round up for aoe on the heavy armor dps to make sure healers don't die.
Phase 4
I will not go into detail on this phase because it is the easiest phase. Kite on outer edge entire time, dodge fire (you should have a lot of room to play with), mines, laser, rockets, frost bomb (which puts out like a whole quardrant for you), and shock blast, and you're done. Healers aim for 40-50% mana going into this phase to ensure a sufficient mana pool for a clean kill. We also left up fire bots, this helped us put out a lot of fire still, our healers simply find it easier to take the random frost damage from the extinguisher (usually you resist about 4k with mark of the wild) and have more room to move than to kill them all going into phase 4. Caster don't be afraid to go close range where the land mines are to dodge barrage (sometimes this is the only way). Aim for going into this phase with 2:30 minutes left when Mimiron becomes targetable (we had almost 4 minutes because we brought less healers). This phase is same as the regular Mimiron except more damage, fire, and frost bomb, as none of the super dangerous ability from the other phases are present here. Movement's similar to Phase 1 (which is a lot more controlled than Phase 3).
Fun Fact
Do not think you get to bounce Mimiron around after enrage timer's up like your guild's first Brutallus kill to get some extra dps time because the whole room literally explodes and you get a "Have a nice day" and raid's wiped in 2-3 seconds.
Final Note
Good luck to all those going for this still. I have high respect for guilds who's finished this before nerf, and even more respect for guilds that only do 10 men and completely this with only 10 men gear (yes they exist). The step up in execution requirement is a lot more than Thorim and Hodir Hard Mode, please do not be discouraged if you find a roadblock in this. This is one of the best encounter Blizzard has ever designed and would absolutely rewarding (maybe not item wise ... stupid mail boots that nobody wants) to complete this feat.

Firefighter Strategy - 2 Tanks + 3 Healers
Some groups chose to do 1 Tank, 7 DPS, 2 Healers
Personally, we did 2 Tanks, 5 DPS, 3 Healers, it's all a matter of preference.
This is definitely one of the hardest modes in 10 man, even after some of the nerfs, expect this to be an all day ordeal. We spent 5 hours on this, whether that's good or bad I don't know, we aren't amazingly geared and we wiped twice at 4% in Phase 4 due to some bad luck, but we were always flasked and food buffed for each attempt.
Main Tank: Warrior
Off-Tank/Bomb Bot Tank: Paladin
Healers: Resto Shaman, Discipline Priest, Resto Druid
Fire Aura or Totem needed for the entire fight, for obvious reasons
10 minute enrage timer throughout all 4 phases for those who don't know, when it hits 10 minutes, everyone in the room will die 2-3 seconds later.
Phase 1 - Tank
At the start of the fight, everyone was stacked against the wall at 10 o clock (With the red button being at 12 o clock). This made is so that the first few fires that spawned were out of the way. Tanked boss in the middle. Have to watch out of for the usual stuff, shock blast, napalm shells, mines, although the mines are less threatening now with the recent nerfs, you can safely walk through one if needed.
Cooldowns will need to be used for the tank to survive the Plasma Blasts, they normally hit around 17,000 per tick. For first one, I used shield wall. Second one, Last Stand + Enraged Regeneration. Third one, Pally off-tank used Hand of Sacrifice on me. Our DPS was usually good enough so that a fourth one didn't happen, but if it did, our priest used pain supression. Shield Block with the 4 set of T8 for Warriors also helped, as it reduces magic damage by 20%.
When the 2nd set of flames spawn, most likely one of your melee will get hit by it, and you need to start slowly kiting. At this point, ranged also need to be careful of shock blast and mines just in case. When he was around 50% health and after the 3rd set of flames went up, he used flame suppresent to get rid of the fires, and another shock blast. At this point it's important to make sure no one is in the middle, you need to keep the middle clear of fire for the next phase to go smoothly.
Phase 1 ends, you have ~30 seconds until Phase 2. Everyone hug the wall and slowly kite the flames. At around ~10 seconds until Phase 2, start spreading out and get ready.
Phase 2 - Machine Gun
Whether you choose to use Bloodlust during this phase is up to you. As we were progressing, we did at first, and then when we got more used to the phase, we saved it for Phase 4, and had our two pallies help out at times using bubble + Divine Sacrifice. If you only have two healers, Bloodlust may be required here. This is the most healing intensive phase no doubt, everyone needs to use their defensive cooldowns to help the healers out. Melee need to be careful of the fire in the middle and avoid it as much as possible, Mimiron will occasionally cleanse the middle of fires, but sometimes 2 seconds later, a fire will come right back. Ranged need to spread out some, maybe in two groups, but they have to be close to heal eachother.
Dodge rockets, don't die to laser barrage. Frost bombs are now used occasionally at a patch of fire. Ranged need to get away from it if it spawns close to them. Melee sometimes won't be able to avoid a Frost bomb, just make sure your back isn't to the fire when it goes off. Laser Barrage is a good time for healers to catch up. Try to down him before he does his 2nd Laser Barrage and you'll be good on time.
Phase 3 - Head
Get to an open area and get ready. You'll constantly be moving away from fires at this stage. Have one ranged DPS tank the head and get some good heals. Emergency bots will spawn and spray water on the fire, it's best to leave them alone in 10 man. They don't silence like they do in 25 man, so let them do their thing and kill them off at the end of Phase 3. Bomb bots will spawn from the head, we had our Pally tank eat them all. I picked up the Assault bots and burned them down, along with picking up junk bots. Once we had collected two cores, we kited the boss to an open area, dropped it, and all DPS helped out. After he goes up, kite him again to another open area, and drop him. At this point, he was at ~10% usually or less, and we had our ranged finish him as our melee caught up on assault bots. Once defeated, AoE all the junk bots, and kill the remaining Assault bots.
This phase is the easiest, one thing to note is that the cores, when used, now automatically go under Mimiron's head. If the head is moving while you use the core, then it will miss and the head won't come down. So don't use the core until the ranged tank is done kiting him. At the end of Phase 3, kill off the remaining Emergency Bots, they will only be a nuisance with their pushback in Phase 4.
Phase 4 - VOLTRON!
Split up DPS between the three parts as usual. This phase is easier to heal than Phase 2, but there is still a lot of stuff going on. As a warrior tank, I personally taunted the head and spell reflect tanked it, we found that easier to heal rather than trying to heal a ranged tank. All the stuff usually present in Phase 4 is there: Mines, Shock blast, rockets, laser barrage, pulse blast. And of course, the ever annoying fire is still present and still spawns. Mimiron will use Frost Bombs like he did in Phase 2, and these you really need to watch out for. They can potentially screw you up, especially if he's doing a Laser Barrage, so a ranged DPS or Healer needs to call it out where it is spawned.
Other than that, this final phase is all about surviving. Getting out for shock blast, not dieing to Laser Barrage, not dieing to rockets, being careful of mines being laid down, and keeping everyone topped off. While at the same time, kiting the boss to constantly open areas of ground. Finally, make sure to keep watch on the enrage timer. Running with 5 DPS, we usually had around 2:30 - 3:00 left on the timer when phase 4 hit, and we killed him with 30 seconds left. Probably cutting it close, but it can be done.
Conclusion
I wish you guys all luck. This is a very frustrating achievement, mostly because if you fail at Phase 4, you have to start alllll over again with the annoying Phase 1 + 2, but just keep on pushing and you will eventually kill him and loot your final sigil to Algalon. Good luck :)

We did this with 1 tank, 3 heals, and 6 dps. I should clarify that 1 of our dps was an arms war who slapped on a one-hander and shield and took care of the bombots during phase 3.
I hope this helps. a few small tips that helped us:
1.) Mark one raid member to be the place where everyone will collapse during the fire control phases. Also use max range and stand by a wall when you can as it keeps flames isolated.
2.) Be Patient and don't spread out right away between phases. Wait until the last few seconds as this will give you the most open non-flamed area as often you get 2 fire blasts between phases while mimron talks... especially phase 1 and 2.
3.) Phase 1 is one of the more deadly for caster heavy groups. If you are caster heavy make sure dps are being conscious of where healers are, and not standing by them so as not to get multiple folks napalmed... Healers can't move as often during phase 1 as it is quite healing intensive on the tank and any raid members that get napalmed.
4.) Survival is key here... DPS is great, but you can't do it when dead...
5.) The spell reflect tanking works ok on the head but I recommend a shadow priest. Great damage, decent mitigation of the incoming damage as needed.
6.) Lastly make sure you are blowing cooldowns in phase 1 so that they should be back up for phase 3 for a speedy head burn as this phase can be the shortest if executed properly.

We finally completed this today so I thought i'd add my 2 cents.
Group comp - 1 tank, 3 heals, 6 dps, our group doing this was ToC / ICC geared (so Ilvl 232+)
Phase 1 - pretty simple, spread out so multiple people don't get napalmed and stay in range of your heals.
Fire placement wasn't that big of a deal because phase 1 finished right after he put out the entire room (before the 3rd plasma blast)
During the Transition to phase 2 stack up and try to keep the fire contained so the first frost bomb puts its all out. Sometime we got lucky and started phase 2 with the whole room pretty cleared, other times he would drop the frost bomb in terrible places and most of the room would still be ablaze but that RNG for ya.
Phase 2 - Spread out around the gold trim in the middle (the circle around the body). Melee can get as close as you want, casters should probably stay alittle further out as the Melee fire extinguish slows casting speed. Fire will spawn and if mimiron isn't already putting out the fire with the melee extinguish then take a step forward so he does. We also popped lust here because phase 2 was giving us some trouble. If you end up with a circle of fire around the entire body then your doing it wrong, move a little closer so he puts it out straight away. Basically what im trying to say is use the mini flame suppress he does to control the fire.
Also dodge the missiles / laser barrage as normal.
Phase 3 - Head comes down, you ranged tank picks it up. Just tank it where ever you feel comfortable, normally away from the fire. When the assault bot dies call it out, have your ranged tank move the head to an open area and bring it down. A good place for this is the 3 entry ways, you can Line of Sight the head and make it come to you. Drop the magnet and rinse repeat.
Also in phase 3 there will be addition bots that spawn to put out the fire. Do not kill them during phase 3, let them work their magic and put out the fire. During the transition from phase 3 to 4 AoE down any remaining assault bots and junk bots, whether the other emergency bots die or live doesn't really matter, they will continue to put out fire in Phase 4 if left alive.
Phase 4 was probably the easiest of the phases.
When it starts have your tank taunt the head and your ranged tank drop agro if possible, its alot easier to just heal the tank.
Move the boss when fire spawns near him, if there are still emergency bots up they will put it out.
Dont stand near the frost bombs, dont die to shock blast, dont get hit by laser barrage or missiles.
Kill all the pieces together.
Communication and survival are key to this encounter.

Soloed as an Affli Warlock with Voidlord/Fel Imp.
Tactic:
The fight consists of four phases - in each phase Mimiron uses some vehicle. Hard Mode is activated by pressing the Big Red Button.
P1 (Leviathan MK II):
You should stay outside the circle of mines, due to Shock Blast. During Napalm Shell your minion will need more healing. Try not to spread the fire throughout the room and not stand in it. Kite the fire like I did on vid.
P2 (VX-001):
Summon Fel Imp instead of Voidlord and do not stand next to him (like me...), otherwise it will die from Rocket Strike. Rocket Strike is deadly and must necessarily be avoided. P3Wx2 Laser Barrage must be avoided too. Try not to spread the fire throughout the room and not stand in it. Kite the fire like I did on vid. In this phase, the fire will be extinguished by Frost Bomb, which should be avoided.
P3 (Aerial Command Unit):
Summon Voidlord instead of Fel Imp. The priority is to destroy all the adds except Emergency Fire Bot. Try to destroy Bomb Bots, before they reach you. You can loot Magnetic Core from Assault Bot and use it underneath Aerial Command Unit in order to disable Mimiron's vehicle, so it will receive an extra dmg. I have not used it, because I like to make life difficult :P Now you can spread the fire throughout the room, because you will have at the disposal firefighters (Emergency Fire Bots), who will extinguish the fire in the room. Remember to stay away from the fire!
P4 (V0-L7R-0N):
Each of the previous vehicles have their own health pool and can be targeted separately. All three targetable sections begin this phase at 50% health and they need to be destroyed within 10 seconds of each other, otherwise they respawn. In this phase, you need to avoid Rocket Strike and P3Wx2 Laser Barrage again. You should also stay outside the circle of mines, due to Shock Blast. You deal with the fire as well as in phase 3.
You have 10 minutes to complete the encounter. Good Luck and Have Fun!

Just solo'd as a level 85 blood dk in ilvl 439 (twink). It was slight tricky so i'm going to share how i did it for those who need help. Overall dps 41k.
Get Boiling Blood, Lichborne, Death's Advance, Death Siphon and Blood Tap for talents. AMS + Vampiric blood glyphs are the 2 that matter.
All phases: Stand in as much fire as you're comfortable with to build vengeance.
Phase 1: Move out from the Shock Blast, AMS the first, ICB the second Plasma Blast. Pop ghoul + DRW but not Army of the Dead.
Phase 2: Don't get hit by the rocket. Before "Spinning Up", empty your runic power bar, then pop Anti-Magic Shell and stand in the laser barrage for RP and vengeance.
Phase 3: Outbreak the command unit and put it on focus, keybind target focus for easy targeting. This bind helps in phase 4 as well. Keep track of the diseases and refresh them with Blood Boil. Wait with using the Magnetic Core until you've killed 2 Assault Bots and looted two cores. Pop Army of the Dead + Ghoul + Dancing rune weapon + ev. trinkets/pots, use the core and go loose. Use the cores back to back and the ACU should be finished.
Phase 4: They have to die within ~15 seconds of each other. Hit Outbreak + Blood Boil. Keep melee attacks and use death strike only to build death runes. Use the death runes on the ACU with Death Siphon. Use your RP for Death Coil's on the ACU (Aerial Command Unit). Get him to around 10% then go melee on the other 2 units. When they're all around 5-10% hp, pop Dancing Rune Weapon + Empower Rune Weapon and spam Blood Boil until they die.
This might take you a few tries to get it right in phase 4. If a unit accidently 'dies' and repairs, you won't manage the enrage timer. (Keep in mind i was 85 doing 41k dps. The enrage might be a non-existant issue for a 90).

Just barely pulled this off two-man with a level 90 Blood Death Knight and Mistweaver Monk wearing greens and blues from MoP questing -- approximately 435 itemlevel.
Neither of us had ever been to Ulduar before this achievement run, and went into each fight with only a few minutes of research into the hardmode achievement beforehand.
This fight is second in difficulty only to Yogg-Saron himself. Be prepared to wipe several times while learning this fight.
To trigger hard mode for this fight, you need to sneak around Mimiron and press the giant red button behind him labeled "DO NOT PRESS THIS BUTTON". This will start the fight, so do not press it until you are ready to begin.
This fight has four phases. First, you fight each of his three robots individually, and then they combine together into one big robot for the last phase. Due to hard mode, there will be flames dropping through the battle area that will spread on the ground towards the players. Mimiron will have different abilities in each phase to reduce the flames if they start to overwhelm the area.
In addition to this, you have 10 minutes until what is basically an enrage, with warning announcements each minute to let you know how much time you have left. The self-destruct mechanism is NOT a hard reset, but rather will ramp up in damage over time. At level 90, with the healing from this particular class combination, you should be able to survive for some time, perhaps as much as an additional minute.
Phase 1:
Leviathan Mk II
A tank that will be used as the legs of the robot. You can ignore the mines he drops. Try to pull him out of the flames as they spread, because while the flames deal little damage, it is still enough to overwhelm your passive healing, and he doesn't clear them away nearly enough. In this phase, he uses an ability called
Shock Blast
that will deal approximately 30-40% of your health as a fresh level 90. We had the monk quickly roll out and roll back into avoid this, but the death knight tank just stood there and took the damage to add to Vengeance damage.
You should be done with Phase 1 somewhere between the 9 and 8 minute mark, ready to start Phase 2 around 8 minutes remaining. While Mimiron is preparing his second phase, you should run to the edge of the combat area away from the flames and bandage yourself if necessary. Stay away from the central area so that the flames do not spread to the center until you're ready to start hitting him again.
Phase 2:
VX-001
A cannon that will be used as the torso and arms of the robot. Run behind him if you see him starting to cast his
Spinning Up
attack, but otherwise his regular shots can be ignored due to passive healing. The most important thing during this phase is to watch for orange circles on the ground and run out of them IMMEDIATELY. A rocket will soon hit that spot and overkill you by about 4 million damage. Do not stand on fire, because the fire makes the warning circles almost impossible to see. Mimiron should wipe the flames clean on a regular basis, so if there are no clear places to stand, retreat for a few seconds until he clears them away. This is a good phase to burn your DPS cooldowns to minimize the chance that you'll be one-shot by a rocket.
Phase 3:
Aerial Command Unit
A helicopter that will be used as the head of the robot. This will fly around above and pelt you with easily ignored damage, but the main difficulty here is that the head is out of range of melee attacks, and both of us were almost completely melee classes. Adds will spawn during this phase. Ignore all of them except the big
Assault Bots
, which drop
Magnetic Cores
. Loot and use these cores immediately to cause the boss to drop to the ground where you can focus damage on him for a few seconds before he breaks free and flies back up. We needed to repeat this four times before this one died and started to assemble for the next phase.
Phase 4:
Mimiron
All three of the robots from the previous phases are up at the same time, starting at half health. Beware of the Shock Blast from the tank and insta-kill rockets from the torso. The head does basically nothing now other than be annoyingly out of reach, and no more adds will spawn.
The only way to kill the boss is to kill all three sections within a few seconds of each other. We had the death knight stay in melee to burn down the legs and torso, and the monk moved away to find a clear spot to stand to hit the head with
Crackling Jade Lightning
from range. Once the head's health is below about 300k, move the lightning to the other two sections to bring them down to the same level. At this point, the monk can go back to hitting the head with lightning while the death knight hits the other two parts, and when they are both down to a sliver of life, knock them all down at the same time. The self-destruct timer may hit zero during this time, but don't panic, you should be able to survive it for long enough to take the boss down.

This achievement is quite easy to get if you are at lvl 90, 3 or more people, and preferably ranged. You kill the individual pieces first, and when they fuse together you just use a lot of AOE so that they all die around the same time. Worked great for me and my group yesterday :)

As a hint toward feral druid soloing:
* Spec Heart of the Wild
* Use normal tactics (avoid fire, keep moving, use the magnetic cores to pull down the head on phase 3)
* On the final phase, dps the middle and bottom parts down quite low. Then pop Heart of the Wild + any haste buffs, and wrath/moonfire the head down (KEEP WATCHING for red target circles on the ground & avoid them). Finish with a hurricane to kill all 3 pieces at once (reason you wait with Heart of the Wild is so that Hurricane can still benefit!).
It's surprisingly easy on 10 if you know the tactics, and have a bit of gear.

Just soloed this in 10m as Arms, 530ilvl, 5.4.8. After a few false starts, I used this setup and it was pretty civilized:
Second Wind
Bladestorm
Storm Bolt
Double stamina trinkets + Commanding Shout + HP Flask.
Sit in Defensive Stance for P4 (and arguably P1).
It's a very simple fight until P4, where targeting the head, timing the kill and staying alive are tricky. It's important to have all cooldowns (offensive and defensive) available in P4; it's not like you need them earlier anyway. The idea in P4 is to use Storm Bolt and Tclap to get the head down to ~600K or so, while moving out of fires and rockets. Then pop shield wall, reck, berserker rage, get a fresh tclap up, and go into bladestorm. That should (easily) finish the head and leave the bottom two nearly dead. Then pop Die By The Sword and/or demo banner, and go to town with Sweeping Strikes and a high single target rotation on whichever has the most hp.
You can easily die if you stand still for too long while getting targets sorted out with only a few seconds to get the bottom two down, so be careful. This approach of prioritizing defense and HP as Arms worked out pretty well for me after a number of botched attempts and a hard time on my ret pally as well. Good luck!

Press the red button, kill, and done. if you dont press the red button then you will wait a week to be killed ( at level 100 ). same wait time as killing and coming back .. although youll have two shots at the mount.
