Priority Affixes Removed From Enchanting - Diablo 4 Patch 1.1.1

With the release of Patch 1.1.1 for Diablo 4,
players quickly noticed
that priority affixes are no longer present when enchanting an item at the Occultist.

The patch notes stated that an issue was fixed that "could result in having the same stat show repeatedly in subsequent re-rolls" when enchanting an item at the Occultist. Players were left to speculate on how this would be implemented in the game.

Fixed an issue where continuously enchanting an item could result in having the same stat show repeatedly in subsequent re-rolls.
Patch 1.1.1 is now live and with it the aforementioned fix to Enchanting. After some tests, we came to the same conclusion that priority affixes no longer exist in Diablo 4, making Enchanting completely random now. Priority affixes were a pool of affixes (different for each item type) that would be guaranteed to show up as one of the options when rerolling an item.
Example: Attack Speed or Critical Strike Chance no longer show up as one of the guaranteed options when rerolling Gloves.
This should be an overall improvement when it comes to the gold costs while being worse in some specific cases. Here are a few examples of how this affects certain item types.
Keep in mind that these are just overall evaluations and do not take specific existing item affixes on the item into account!
Weapons
: Positive outcome. Only had Strength, Intelligence, Willpower, and Dexterity in their priority pool. It will now be easier to get Vulnerable Damage, Critical Strike Damage, and the likes to appear.
Chests and Pants
: Positive outcome as they didn't have any of the Damage Reduction affixes in the priority pool. Lots of subpar affixes like Potion Capacity and Potion Drop Rate were part of the priority affixes before.
Gloves
: Slightly negative outcome as the priority affixes Attack Speed and Critical Strike Chance are top choices for many builds.
Amulets
: Hard to gauge and depends on whether or not your build needed one of the Passives to be rolled on the Amulet, which were all in the priority pool together with other highly desired stats like Cooldown Reduction and Resource Cost Reduction. Overall, Amulets still suffer from the affix bloat when rerolling for a specific stat.
Rings
: Slightly negative outcome as Critical Strike Chance was the only priority affix which is a desired stat for most builds.
