(ALLIANCE) - thanks to Tibitina for start of the guide!

After you get the item in BWL from Vael, Decipher it. Then you go to Burning steppes in the southwest of Draco Dar (14, 57) and find the energy source. After that you solve a ''puzzle'' A fire totem will spawn and you have to kill it using frost damage. then you kill a big lava elemental and you receive ''Depleted Essence of Fire''. Use the item together with the scroll in your bag to receive Imbued Essence of Fire.

Turn in is in SW in mage tower.

Next quest takes you to Everlook on the left side of the entrance.

She gives you a new quest to go to the Frostwisper Gorge in Winterspring. 63.6, 68.59 and you will find a frost totem. kill it with fire damage and then kill the spawned ''Outcast Cryomancer'' for the Depleted Essence of Frost.

Scroll: Seenecs Fo Rofts, dropped off of a Frostmaul Preserver in the gorge near the frost stone. Combine with the Depleted Essence of Frost and return to the person in Everlook.

Next quest takes you to Mazthoril (57,50) (blue dragon elite cave in Winterspring)
ManaThirst imp in the cave drops Scroll: SERELS PATALIS GNEMIND, translated into scroll of lesser spatial mending. there are growing fel portals in the cave you have to close near the imps. Upon closing they will spawn demons with ~2500hp. The back end of the cave has a lot more spawn locations than the front of the cave. You must close 5 of the growing fel portals, so bring 5 comprehension charms. I had to kill 34 imps to get the 5 scrolls.

From there the turn in is to Haleh (54.5, 50), on top of the Mazthoril cave. You have to use the blue rune at the end of the cave to advance the quest. you can't run up the side of the mountain to get to her. She gives you incomplete staff of order. you combine this with the imbued essence of frost and imbued essence of fire from the previous quests to get the staff!

Staff of Order (arcane version) Can activate the Staff of Order to turn into Staff of Inferno (fire version), and activate Staff of Inferno to turn into Staff of Rime (frost version)

Unfortunately it seems to be bugged cause I myself have grinded this for 5h. In a party and also alone. No drop. can't complete the frost step of the quest.

EDIT: I abandoned quest..picked up again and voila, 1 kill and i got the spellnotes, make sure to delete the essence just in case
