Homogenized. :X
eww, finesse conduits in obligatory path... please don't
Korayn has 2 forced endurance slots. :XAnd you can choose a third if you want the nifty First Strike... Seems a little overkill. Swap one with a finesse.
This isnt a bad change for balance and so but isnt it better to get the potency conduits without choosing? So change the 3 way decision to a 2 way decision and give the potency conduit choice as a must?
Pelagos now has 5% Vers and 40% mastery proc... Very balanced!
Man Shadowlands is turning out boring. Blizzard will continue to neuter all their overengineered systems in a futile attempt to balance it all, and they will only suceed in removing all fun by nerfing the ^&*! out of anything tangible in endgame progression.
So Blizzard knows they will never balance this system properly. Their solution? Remove/nerf conduits, soulbinds and covenants abilities to the ground. This way, even if there is some disparity, it's gonna be not as big as it currently is, but the abilities will be even more boring than they already are.The best solution would obviously just let people play however they want, able to swap whenever they want, like talents. These conduits and covenant abilities are so underwhelming for me (I play warlock and I don't like any of them), it would be better without any of them, imo.
Removed Just make every soulbind 2 spec specific potency slots, 1 finesse, 1 endurance, and each soulbind adds unique interesting effects. Removed
people might feel like they dont get to play with 3 dps conduits now, but it does not matter, its the same for everyone, so this is great. i am happy for this change, it will make it less impactfull, yet more impactfull defensivly/utility wise. and its easier to balance 2 of them then 3. +++++ from me
Just an FYI, Pelagos' "after" picture isn't correct. It's still constructed the same way just with swapped conduit slots.Edit: Actually it changes depending on the server I'm on lol
Emeni is going to feel horrible for anything but a Tank now.Ambulatory Flesh (lets you channel Fleshcraft while moving) is pretty much required to make it semi-useful in all but the most niche situations (ie if you have nothing to do for four seconds, and you don't need to reposition... So basically never), but it requires you sacrifice a potency slotBefore it wasn't so bad, since you still had two slots, but now if you want the Necrolord Covenant Ability to not root you for FOUR SODDING SECONDS, you have to make do with ONE potency conduit.
Why for the love of god would they do this. 95% of the Finesse conduits are garbage and do not matter, there is no good reason to do this beyond trying to find a reason for there 10 charge of conduit swapping system to feel less punishing if you only have to swap 2 potency ones. They design a bad system and punish the players by forcing us to use it.It almost feels like they don't want anyone to actually enjoy playing or experimenting with there class and covenant.
I don't get it.With less options for potency conduits i now defiantly want at least those two slots. There is absoluty no thinking what so every about which path to take. Hell if i'm night fea, any healer besides shaman and pick niya as my soulbind, i have to pick an ability that doesn't work for me at all to get my second petency conduit. Before i would skip 1/3, which is bad, but acceptable for another solide soulbind ability + an finesse/endurance consuit. But now i miss 1 out of 2. That's just %^&*!@ed sry.
Why not remove the potency conduit completely so we don't need to worry about changing spec?
why wouldnt they just put one at the beginning and one at the end, no put it in middle where you actually have a choice between 3 things, fkn annoying
That doesn’t make the choice harder, if anything it makes it easier because most soulbind passives are really weak so they aren’t worth losing a dps conduit over.Though now it does make choosing the conduits if your choice harder since you have a total of 2 instead of 3
Can't blame all of it on Blizz, this is also down to you guys, the community. I mean, it makes sense for them to nerf this as well, but if they didn't you guys will just moan about that. I hope the homogeny isn't too much is all.
I'd just put the potancy conduits at the intersections and have endurance and finesse ones for branches personally.
Why do they feel the need to give us so many options, like as if there won't be a "best"? The more options a mythic raider has, the less of the game they see. So few dps conduit slots now, and so many bland boring perks. Why can't all 3 soulbind trees just be one big thing, and the boring perks be made weaker or something. I just get less excited about these systems with every update they make.....
