My only concern - and this is probably being nitpicky - is the release of each new phase. I'm planning on playing casually because I have a life: a family, a full-time job, and general responsibilities. But, I want to try and put in a few hours each week to work through end-game raid content (once my guild members and I have casually played to level 60).The concern I have is how much weight players with a lot more time on their hands will add to the phase unlock decisions. If hardcore guilds zerg through the game to get to 60 in two weeks and then start clearing Molten Core, downing Ragnaros a week later, what's to stop the developers from seeing dozens of guilds on any given server maxed out in T1 waiting for the next phase - while the rest of us are still level 40?The pace of players is going to be very different. I suspect that despite having real world responsibilities, a lot of people also have the freedom to put in 20+ hours of playtime per week. How much say will "casual" players have with regard to phase unlocks?
Talent trees... All people will do is go on wowhead or other site to review what the correct tree is and go with it. It is what people do for the current system as well - though it is harder to make a broken toon with only 3 choices... And if you are brand new then you'll be drowned in choice, which can be intimidating.
