I'm glad they are doing this. Better not to devote GMs to dealing with ninja looting problems that were solved eons ago just because some nostalgiatards want the "authentic" experience of having other players take advantage of them and abuse the loot system.
QUOTE:Ninja looting does have consequences in the community and those who do it will have trouble getting invited to group. In other words: your reputation will matter. Remember to play nice, play fair folks!Yea, Yea. Assuming they do not allow name or server transfers or put a LONG limit on those transfers. Back in the day playing EQ we used to have a forum with NAMES, but nowadays the crybabies will say something about using names, but yet it is OK for them to ninja loot.
This is EXACTLY how it should be.People want Classic, so Classic problems will need Classic solutions.
At least there's fewer assumptions with this in mind. Granted it seemed fairly obvious but at least now more confirmation. It might not be totally like the original but this isn't all that bad. Much better than the original iteration of having actual loot trading.
