lmfao
Are we sure people did enough research on this? When I Frostbolt into Flurry I still have 2 charges on Live ...Edit: I tested when pre-patch was released but actually it looks like it's different now on beta. Are we sure its not intended to work as it does on pre-patch? In which case there is no problem
Frost is fun now because of the changes to Flurry, so they are destroying it again... Arcane it is then.
Why does Blizz keep breaking things LOL. Frost already has some weak points, pls stop weakening it further.
Yes, they do say that it's working as intended on the pre-patch but bugged in the Beta only.
shadowlands will be ready on time.
Having to break your rotation to get better dps? Sounds eerily similar to what they did to spriest. Frost will probably get fixed though, so no worries.E: "which is more damage but also counter-intuitive and degenerate". Yup. It would be the same problem as searing nightmare aside from the likelihood of getting fixed for frost.
Frost just straight up needs a re-work. It feels clunky in PvE and PvP. Please give it some love, and stop tuning bad design.
lol, NEEERF MAGES !
I feel like this has always been a problem with cast times, especially at high haste. By the time you start casting the next spell something procs which makes you want to have done something different. For the most part WoW combat is always really really snappy but sometimes stuff like this happens. Didn't several spells with travel times get changed to happen immediately on the target a few xpacs ago? It would be really silly for frostbolt to have no travel time though.
A number of specs are still in need of big rotational changes (like unholy DKs). I’m banking on 9.1 including the changes they failed to get in time for launch.
frost already ate into their rotation with the noIL build. They'd legit overcap on fingers of frost all the time
This is a bug that's not present in the live version of the game. And even if it was, there's nothing wrong with deciding to cast a frostbolt or go straight for the 2 ILs, this is not ''degenerative'', if anything, what needs to be fixed(/tuned) is frostbolt's damage.
Degenerate?
Unpopular opinion:Flurry is gigapoop, move it's mechanics and damage to frostbot and save frost mages.
I dunno, to me the option of canceling a cast to do more damage with something else sounds like an opportunity to raise the skill cap. As far as I'm concerned, it's not really that different from DoT snapshotting back in the day or taking advantage of procs in general.
Out of Beta for Azeroth and into The Betalands
lol I was actually noticing this on beta yesterday, half the time my frostbolt was eating my first winter's chill stack. I figured maybe they were intending for us NOT to lance twice after brain freeze. Wonder if they'll fix it
